《Acting The Part (Completed)》Miss Perfect Has Virgin Lips/ Taylor

Did he really think I would fall for his stupid little act? He's pathetic.
When I first met Bret, I could not believe my luck. He reminded me of myself when I was first introduced into the filming world. I thought we could help each other out, but of course, he's a total douche on the inside who cares about nobody but himself. So I squashed that part of me and channeled it into hatred. For him. We are lovers on set, but out of it, I hate his guts. And I want him to know that.
The make up artist chooses something simple: foundation, thin eyeliner, cherry red lips. My dress is an elegant old timer dress with a corset and everything. A lady had to help me in the changing room to get that thing on. It was a nightmare. I blame Derek for wanting to make everything realistic. Then again, its a movie. It has to be realistic.
I step into the set. This is Emily's house, the girl I play in this movie. It's a nice Victorian style house. We're actually filming inside a house for once. The church wasn't an actual building. The barn sort of was, but that's a barn.
Bret comes into the house seconds later. I roll my eyes at him. Late as usual. His make up artist kept it simple for him as well. He's got some foundation on and a little blush that's barely visible. His chocolate brown eyes are looking at me.
Okay so maybe my hair was in a tight bun and a few whisps were hanging down purposely, but he doesn't have to stare. "Staring is rude you know," I tell him.
He grins. "Says the girl who was staring a few seconds ago."
I scoff. "I wasn't staring! I was just-"
"Testing! Testing!" I wince and cover my ears. Nice going Derek. A megaphone? Really?! "Okay get in your positions. I'll be handing out the script for this part shortly."
I roll my eyes. Is this even professional? Derek wants us to be surprised so he won't let us read all of the script at once. Lame-o.
A lady from the crew hurriedly passes out the sheets of paper. I start reading as soon as I get mine.
Emily: That was a foolish thing to do Hayden.
(Hayden moves closer to Emily's side.)
Hayden: I'm sorry Emily! I will make it up to you. I really like you. I thought maybe... (Emily turns her back to Hayden, all the while fidgeting with her fingers.) I just want us to be happy together. (Spins Emily around and holds her by the waist.)

Emily: Hayden I...
(Hayden strokes a hair away from Emily's face.)
Hayden: Shhhh...(glances at Emily's lips. Emily does the same. Slowly they close the distance between-
I scream. "I have to kiss him?!"
Derek snorts. "Well what did you think? This is a love story Taylor."
"B-but I c-can't k-kiss himmmm!!!" I stutter. I don't want Bret being my first kiss! What have I gotten myself into?!
"Why not? I'm sure you've been kissed many times before." I gulp and look down at the floor. Bret starts laughing like a hyena. "You've never been kissed before?!"
"Shut up," I grumble. "It's personal."
"Personal? You're starring in a movie Taylor. There is no 'personal'..." Derek sighs. "Well you have to get some practice then."
"No please! No!" I plead.
"Taylor. I won't say it again. You have to. You're starring in a movie. We can't just leave that part out!"
"Why not?"
"Because that's what keeps the audience going! That's what drives them. That's what makes them buy the movie and watch it over and over again!"
I sigh. "Those are some stupid people."
Derek chuckles. "Those stupid people are our customers Taylor. Now just go with Bret. I'm pretty sure he can help you."
My heart plummets. Oh god. Bret's going to be my first kiss. There's no doubt about it!
My body is trembling as I walk out with Bret. This is not going to go well. I can feel it in my bones.
"So you've never kissed a guy?"
I swallow the lump in my throat. "Too engrossed in school I guess."
Bret chuckles. "You're such a liar. I know a lot of people who get good grades and kiss people on top of it."
"Well that just wasn't me, okay?"
"I can see that." Suddenly he stops. I squeak in panic. I'm not ready. "Let's do this in my trailer."
"How can you just say that?" I ask incredulously.
He shrugs. "It's just a kiss Taylor."
I want to shout, "No its not," but he's the expert. He's actually kissed someone before.
We start walking again in the direction of his trailer. Maybe I'm just exaggerating. Maybe a kiss isn't bad at all. He stops at his door and fishes out his keys. I look at him in wonder. He hasn't said anything stupid since we started walking really. He's finally taking something seriously.
The door opens and I peek inside. It's not what I expect. I thought it would be like a hurricane swept through, but its not too messy. He closes his door and I scrunch up my face in disgust. I just had to think that before I saw the boxers on the floor.

Bret laughs. "It's just boxers. Don't worry about it." I smile at him weakly. He's really laid back about this. "Okay then let's start the lesson." He grabs hold of my hand. Those undeniable sparks come back. I ignore them. I let him hold onto my hand as he sits on the edge of his bed. "Just sit on either side. I'll do the rest."
I slowly sit on the right side of his lap. "Like this?"
"Yeah. Just bring your dress up a bit." He wants me to bring up my dress?! I instantly get off of his lap. He slaps his forehead. "Not like that. Gosh I'm sorry Taylor."
"Can't we just pretend that we kissed?" I beg.
"That wouldn't do you any good. Would you rather do your first kiss here or have it caught on camera?"
I slump into his lap again. He has a point. "Okay..." I say slowly.
I pull up the bottom of my dress a bit like he asked. What am I getting myself into? Before I can comprehend it, Bret has flipped me so my legs are around his waist. My body starts trembling. I feel cold. I feel like I'm in a sex position.
Bret's warm hand wraps around me, dissolving all of the cold. "It's okay Taylor. You're doing good." He whispers. "You ready?"
I bite my bottom lip. "No." Bret sighs. I can see him taking a few glances at my lips. Is he watching me bite my lip? I stop biting it and look him in the eyes. "Will you promise not to play any tricks on me?"
His brown eyes stay true while his lips form an amused smile. "I promise."
I sigh. "Okay...do we really have to do this?"
He laughs. "Taylor. You are starring in a movie," he mocks Derek. I laugh and bite my lip. His eyes are looking again. Before I can say anything, he cups my cheek with his hand and wraps his other hand around my waist. His touch is electrocuting. "You ready now?"
"I can't believe I'm doing this," I say before nodding my head.
His lips meet with mine and that's basically how all hell breaks loose. Because this one kiss will change everything. My lips are no longer innocent. They've lost their virginity to a jackass, who is definitely a great kisser.
Bret closes his eyes. I guess this is part of the lesson. I follow his lead. He brings me closer. I can feel the heat radiating off of his body. His lips against mine create this huge spark I've never felt before. It's like fireworks. One of a kind.
Bret slowly brings us down on his bed. Oh god. What is he doing? I can't get out of this kiss. It's like my body has a mind of its own. He opens his mouth. Am I supposed to follow him? I don't realize until it's too late that I did. Bret's tongue goes into my mouth. More fireworks. How is it possible to have fireworks in your mouth?
Then he stops. His brown eyes are on me, looking at my face, my hair, and somewhere else. I almost shriek when I realize where. This dress is a bit revealing. He's looking at my boobs! That pervert! Before I can stop him, he kisses me again. And again. And again. They're soft little kisses. It's not like kissing though, its like sucking on my lips.
He starts travelling down. Each time he touches me, I feel so dazed. Like I'm in a world where nothing goes wrong. It's too good to be true.
"Stop!" I say. It's too good to be true. It's too good to be true. This is all too good to be true.
Bret immediately stops. "Sorry," he mumbles. "I got carried away."
My cheeks turn red before I can stop them. He got carried away? What is that supposed to mean?!
I roll off of him. "Cool?"
This gets Bret in focus. He sits up and gives me an odd look. "Cool? What kind of an answer is that?" he asks with a small chuckle.
"I don't know! I'm panicking! I just lost my lip virginity to a big jerk and-!" My eyes widen while Bret's turn cold. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean that. I just-"
"No, it's okay. I guess I am kind of a dick, huh?"
I shrug. "Well, if we're gonna be honest..." I shake my head. "Anyways, I have to go. Thanks for um, teaching me," I blush a little.
"Yeah no problem," he says awkwardly.
I check myself in the mirror before walking out the door. I knew I shouldn't have done that. Now it feels awkward.

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
