Um. What the hell.

Nailea just invited me to her baby shower. And there's rumors that Vinnie is the father.

Of course they aren't true. Are they? No. They can't be. Vinnie wouldn't lie to me.

In one month she's due. It's January 30th right now so she has almost 30 days left. But I guess now that we're on good terms she wanted to invite us. Which is fine, but these rumors are really worrying me.

I find Vinnie outside of my dorm. He's wearing jeans. He's also wearing a tight shirt clinging to his abs, making me blush. My dress is really pretty, and I'm actually excited to wear it. It's a velvety red one that I'm wearing along with my necklace Vinnie gave me for Christmas.

We head into his car and drive to Nailea's place. She set up everything really nicely. I see Will standing. I guess they got back together. Hm.

That's when it hits me.

"Vinnie, when you and Nailea had oral sex, was she still with Will?" His jaw locks which isn't a good sign.

"No. They were on and off as usual. She came to my house because they just broke up. One kiss led to another whole thing."

"Hold on. You kissed?" He looks at me and starts to speak, but Nailea comes up to us. She's wearing an extravagant mermaid dress that looks great on her.

"Ansh, Vinnie, I'm so glad you two could make it!" She kisses us on our cheeks. Nailea looks at Vinnie and smiles while she looks me up and down.

"I love your dress and necklace, Ansh." She holds the necklace in her hand.

"Thank you. Vinnie actually got it for me for Christmas." She smiles.

"Wow, you have an amazing boyfriend. And again, I am genuinely sorry for how I acted. You two are adorable. I just need to work on myself. But I am trying. For Will and for this baby." She holds her stomach and smiles at us.

"Thank you again, Nailea. I'm happy to hear that. And that baby is lucky to have an amazing mom. She has a good one." She pulls me into another hug.

"Come on! Let's go cut some cake!"

Today was actually really nice. Nailea and I are good now. Vinnie was silent but he looked happy. He was nice to Nai which was good. But now I have to get back to my dorm.

When we drive back to my dorm Vinnie is silent.

"Vinnie, what's up? You've been so moody today." Vinnie sighs. I can see his jaw lock. Again.

"It's just... hard to see her like that, you know? We had our futures planned out. And I know telling you this sounds really bad, but it just took me back. I'm sorry if that sounds bad."

I cup his chin. "Hey, look at me. You have nothing to apologize for. I get it. You guys had a passionate relationship, so I get that seeing her is hard. But just know that I love you. I'll be here to support you." I kiss his cheek. We arrive back at the college and we cuddle in my bed.

Their relationship was really passionate. But I know that Vinnie was sad today. He and Nai had their lives planned out. But she cheated on him. I understand how he's feeling.

I would never want Vinnie to feel like he can't talk to me. I love Vinnie. I hope he knows that he has someone to care for him. Vinnie is truly an amazing boyfriend just like Nai said.
