Wow I'm updating this pretty well! Hope I can keep this ball rolling! But in all seriousness, I really wanted to post this after my surgery and also... Ugh it's a 3 parter!!!! So I have a limit now on how long my chappie so should be so I can be very motivated to write the next part! And well that limit is at the most 4,500 words. I wanted so hard to not make this 3 parters, but... This duel is so hard!!! Ugh! But I'm actually pretty proud of it! And I hope you all are too! Promise the next one will be up soon before school starts back up! Enjoy! Nya!

Apologies as well it's hard to get Yusei and some characters right but I think I make them pretty in character! I do not own Yugioh 5Ds or the characters! Only my OCs and Cathy's OC deck! And I think you all can recognize Cathy's outfit she's in up above~.

Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! Who would've guessed I'd be in the finals?! And against Yusei too! But well sadly it's not actually me facing him. I've been mindnapped and now being controlled by this second voice or entity! Yet it seems like my 'powers' of reading emotions and feeling my monsters being destroyed is still intact so their feeling everything! The thing in control summoned a dark evil creature named Darklight Beast! While Yusei summoned his powerful dragon, Stardust Dragon, to try and help me! Hope he can succeed and I won't be stuck anymore!

"So don't give up on me Cathy!" The voice said loudly again as it echoed around me. That voice... I know it from somewhere... Along with that name. It's been echoing throughout this room for awhile now.

Suddenly a name popped into my head along with an image of a boy with black and yellow spiky hair. "Yusei..." I mumbled groaning as my head pounded extremely hard against my skull. I think I might've been hit by a bus.

My eyelids felt heavy but when I opened them I was met with the sight of webs that looked inky and dark surrounding me in a dark space. "What the?!" I looked around and tried to move but I realized that I was tied up by the webs around my body, wrists, and ankles. I was also wearing a dress that looked so familiar but very tattered and torn. "Great... Anything else terrible and this book will be hit on the mature rating..."

I looked around where I was floating at and couldn't see anything or anybody besides the vines things. "Hey! Is anyone out here! I need some assistance!!" I called out but my voice only echoed around. "Ugh... Jeez..."

I struggled harder till I heard voices around me again. "You're just desperate!"

"Maybe I am but I'm determined to help her!" The same voice from before said around me. Suddenly his name came to me again and I gasped as I remembered things.

Memories flashed through my head! I'm in a tournament with Yusei! He's a person who knows me from my past! I have amnesia, can read people's emotions with visions from their eyes, and I also met Luna, Leo, Sakura, Akiza, Tanner, and Yanagi! But I faced off against Trickster and was trapped in my mind apparently where the young girl Pinky-... Wait a minute... "Am I still in my own mind?!"

I thus then begun panicking and struggled more. "I have to get out of here! Help me! Anybody! Yusei!!" I struggled more but the webs grew tighter and kept me in place. I'm trapped!

I closed my eyes when tears began to form in them. I was scared. I just found out I can get answers to who I was and now I can't even leave my own stupid head! There's no one here to help me... "Please... Anybody... Save me." I whispered.

"I'm sorry child, but it had to be done." A rough male voice said all around me. It was definitely not Artemis then.

"Who are you?! What do you want with me?! Why are you in my head?! Can't you see I'm crazy enough without voices in my head!" I questioned the voice, till realization hit me that I know that voice. "You're the same voice that talked to me in the Spirit World, aren't you?"

"Indeed I am child. Yet who I am shall remain a secret for the time being. What I want from you is nothing, but you to sleep."

Okay that's just creepy! "Sleep? Are we playing 21 questions cause you just gave me no answers!"

The voice literally sighed, ha guess I can annoy voices in my head too! "You're abilities and powers are still very much developing and if you remain in control in the human world, you will surely cause harm to yourself. Which is why, after that pitiful human destroyed your remaining memory fragments, I took actions and put your mind in stasis."

"So you basically knocked me out, took over my body, just so I don't kill my self or run into a wall? Yeah that makes sense..." I muttered and rolled my eyes. "Well I'm better now! Now let me out!"

"No!" The voice boomed and it shook the whole place where it echoed loudly. "You're still not ready to return to that world! Stay asleep child and let me protect you!"

I groaned frustrated. This thing was making me upset. "'Protect' me?! You're literally keeping me prisoner in my own head!! I said let me out!" I screamed at him as that strange power I feel inside me began to burn hot in my chest. While I also knew my eyes were glowing brightly.

It was burning hotter that it was starting to become painful. I struggled harder against my restraints and could see a bright aura emitting from each bind on my body. I kept trying to focus on those parts of the webs but it was starting to become tiring to me.

I stopped resisting and panted. The burning feeling of the power was still there yet now a dull sensation. "Please... J- just... Let me go home." I said out of breath and could feel tears build up in my eyes again.

"I won't child. If you do now then those humans will surely suffocate you with their emotions."

A small whimper came from my throat and I closed my eyes to let the tears fall down from my face. I can't go home. Even if I don't remember where I belong in a specific place, with my friends and the people who have cheered me on, I was home with them. "Yusei, Akiza, Luna and Leo, Blossom, Tanner, Dexter and Yanagi... I'm Sor-."

"Man did I not expect myself to give up so easy!" I gasped and opened my eyes to see... Me?! Wait no not exactly! She looked a lot like me but a little younger. Her, or well our, hair was in a high ponytail with a purple bow. She wore a brown vest with a magenta shirt then on her arms were small belts. We looked pretty good!

Our orange eyes met and she gave me a confident smirk looking down at me. She was me from my past! "Are you seriously gonna let us be trapped her forever? Yusei is out there dueling his butt off to help us and you just wanna sleep here and listen to that dude? Jeez did losing my memories make me a softie?!"

"But I can't get out of these webs!"

She laughed and poked my cheek like how Yusei did. "When did a little set back hold us down? Let me ask you something. More so then all the other questions. Who are you?"

My eyes probably went wider cause that question. Trickster asked me that. And that's what led me here. Who am I? That's an answer I did know. I heard the sound of dragon roar from around the darkness and I looked around as did my past me. That roar sounded very familiar.

Past me chuckled when she heard it, then mumbled something about him going all out, and looked back into my eyes. "Well?"

I grinned and began to focus that power once more. I looked at my chest to see the blue pendant. "I am not alone! I will believe in myself! I have friends who will stick by me till the end! I am Cathy Sullivan!!!" I yelled out while the webs suddenly began to break apart and even catch on fire. I was finally released and dropped onto the ground that felt like a liquid floor.

Getting up on my knees I panted feeling tired again. But nows not the time! I looked around for my past self but I couldn't find her. Wait was she even real? That male voice was gone as well and it felt like they just disappeared. I must be getting close to getting out of here!

I looked up ahead to see a bright light coming from beyond. I got up and my bare feet walked on the black water till I reached to the light source. It was the outside world! No, it was a window looking ahead. I could see from the point of view Yusei, some more of those dark webs from the corner of the screen, but what really stood out from the scene was the beautiful white and blue dragon beside Yusei! It sparkled and looked majestic yet also oh so very familiar.

Wait a minute, this setting... "Am I in a duel with Yusei?!" I questioned now realizing I was in the flipping arena. But wait it's not me in the arena... I mean yeah it seems like I can see this through my eyes, but it was a window. Wait this window...

I stepped back to looked at the frame of it and saw it wasn't just a window! It was the monster Fiend's Mirror! The thing that trapped me in here! Trickster's card...

"I'm placing a card facedown but then I'm equipping the spell card Fighting Spirit to my Stardust Dragon. This lets him gain 300 attack points for each monster on your field." I heard Yusei say and looked back at the duel between him and well, me. I heard Stardust Dragon roar again as its Attack points increased. "Now I'll end.

"You summoned your pathetic dragon and equipped that for nothing! My Beast still has 3600 Atk points." I heard that same male voice coming from my mouth. Ew he is controlling my body! Wait. 'Beast'?

As if, of course, on cue, a low monsterous growl emitted from outside the mirror. When I heard it, it's sent chills down my spine and caused me to freeze up. But the growl... It didn't come from just outside, it...

I turned around slowly to see that glowing red eyes were piercing through the darkness. I gasped and immediately grabbed my pendant out if I guess habit. But when I saw that the monster was coming closer, and looking into its eyes, I could feel it's emotions.

"You. You don't want to hurt me." I looked deeper into his eyes and felt protectiveness and loyalty.

"I summoned Stardust Dragon to help. Cause I know you recognize him Cathy." I heard Yusei say and looked back out Fiend's Mirror. "He's going to help you wake up Cathy!"

I smiled listening to how determined and so sure he sounded. I placed my hand on the barrier between the mirror and I and called out. "I am awake Yusei! Now kick my evil butt!"

"That vessel is trapped in a deep sleep human. There is nothing you can do to save her!"

"Liar!!!" I yelled out to him.

I watched as my own hands drew a card from my deck and I could see my hand. I could see a pretty good strategy with the few cards I had. Wait! I can't try to win this duel! I need to lose!

"My Darklight Beast, destroy his Stardust Dragon!" Suddenly, I got to now see what this monster looked like and let me just say I would say how unappealing he looked. But I'd rather not disrespect the monster in my head that could probably kill me...

I watched as a purple beam shot out from Beast's mouth towards the beautiful dragon. I gasped and watched it collide with him and the debris blew back at Yusei but he tried to stand his ground against it.

"No! Yusei!" I called out banging on the barrier but no use. Until I saw that once the smoke cleared, Stardust Dragon still flew there like before! He wasn't destroyed?!

"How is your dragon still standing?!" I heard not me question which was something I wondered myself as well.

"Cause I used Fighting Spirit's other ability! If I'm attacked I can destroy that card instead of my Stardust Dragon in battle!"

"Alright!" I cheered. He played that card not to just boost his monster but to protect him!

I looked up at the evil mirror where I was kneeling in front of and I couldn't see my reflection. He really is trying to help me. To save me. But I need to also try and save myself. I kinda figured he can't see my eyes, but maybe if he could...

I looked back at the mirror then down at my hands and placed it on the barrier between the mirror and I. It actually rippled where my hands were placed and I could feel something. Almost like I could feel a connection to my body.

I gritted my teeth and then, I pushed both hands against the mirror. It was strong and hard to push through but I knew this had to work!

Darklight Beast had returned to beside Cathy's body while the black yellow streaked boy watched and knew this was far from being over. 'I may have bought some time but was it long enough to try and make my way to her?' He thought.

"I will end my t-." Cathy suddenly froze mid sentence making Yusei look straight at her a bit confused.

"Cathy?" He called to her but she was unresponsive.

Then she gritted her teeth and groaned gripping her head. Before she slowly moved her hand to a card she held. "I a- activate the field s- spell... Garden of the Moon Kingdom!"

The field changed a bit where fields of the glowing purple and blue flowers appeared around the two duelists. But the drastic change was when Cathy's cloak disappeared and changed into her white dress and her hair grew longer and was tied into twin tails. "It appears Cat Simmons has gone through another wardrobe change into this lovely outfit again!" The MC said.

Yusei noticed how Cathy seemed to be struggle when she tried to play the field spell. He looked at her and then saw the blue pendant on her neck. He looked back up at her eyes that were closed till he gasped a little when tears fell from them. She slowly opened her eyes and there he say her orange eyes almost glowing brightly with a galaxy pearling through them.

This time it wasn't just flecks of gold and black in them swirling. But dark purples and blues with stars of many colors turning inside them. It was almost mesmerizing and beautiful to look at.

"Cathy, that's you isn't it." Yusei said.

The blonde stared at him for a bit before grinning at him next. "Sup."

Sakura, Tanner, the twins, Yanagi, and Dexter watched this and gasped. Sakura placed her hands to cover her mouth with tears of joy almost threatening to fall. Leo and Dexter cheered and hollered along with Yanagi. Tanner held his fist up while Luna smiled and sighed with relief.

"Alright he did it!" Tanner said while suddenly Sakura hugged him and he held her close.

"Cathy's back! She's okay!"

They both froze a little as the purplette's cheeks turned pink like her kimono. The two looked at each other surprised before immediately letting go of each other flustered. "Sorry bout that..." Tanner mumbled.

Sakura only nodded till Dexter's voice chimed in. "Uh guys... Why is that pool of dark ink still swirling under her?"

The group looked back to where he pointed out. "Umm maybe she's gonna print something?" Leo tried to make sense with all the ink.

Luna though looked back to being worried and looked at her mark that was still glowing. "It's not over is it?"

"That witch 2.0 is planning on attacking us!" A sudden audience member shouted when they saw the camera focus on Cathy's eyes.

This caused a chain reaction within the stands, breaking the silence. "She still has that ability going on!"

"Wait for it! She'll tell her pet to destroy us all!"

"She's no witch! She's a monster!!" Someone suddenly said where almost everybody in the stands began to chant and yell.

"Monster! Monster! Monster!"

Cathy groaned and gasped while the dark webs splattered around began to shake and the dark ink pooling around her swirled faster. She fell to her knees and grabbed her throat almost as if she was being choked. The negative emotions were surrounding her. Everyone's anger, fear, and hatred. She felt all of them.

Yusei groaned looking at his mark then back at Cathy. "Not again. This has to stop. Cathy! Don't listen to them!"

The blonde shook her head rapidly when the puddle grew to her waist. "I- I can't fight him back! They're too m- much! He's dragging me back in!" She yelled.

"No Cathy! Just listen to me and ignore what they're saying to you." He told her but it was no use when the second voice appeared again chuckling.

"She's still weak. I should be thanking these idiot humans for helping push the child back. But I think, I'll make them be quiet!" It yelled when more spikes bursted out and stabbed a lot more seats and barely missing a few people.

Darklight Beast then roared loudly that shook the whole stadium and shattering more glass around people.

Yusei gritted his teeth a little and drew his next card. "This needs to be over soon. Come on." When he drew he looked at the card he got then looked back at Cathy confident.

"What do you think you got some monster to help you? None of your them can defeat my beast!"

"I can by activating my spell card, Synchro Blast Wave!" Yusei played the spell card in his hand while the blond's eyes widened.

"What?!"

"If I have a Synchro Monster on my field I can destroy one monster on your field!" Stardust Dragon took to the sky's before charging a blast at Darklight Beast. It let it loose and shot at the creature destroying it.

Cathy cried out in pain and gripped her dress by the chest falling to her knees again. She panted and groaned. "Th- this stupid body..." The voice said. Before a nudging pain hit pounded her head.

'That's my stupid body you're talking about and hurting! And I want it back thank you!' The real blonde yelled in their head. He could see that she was still pounding the mirror and trying to push through again.

The second voice growled like a monster, "why don't you just relax and let me protect you child." He said while the ink floor the real Cathy was on shot rope grabbing her wrists and waist pulling her to the ground and keeping her there.

'What the?! Hey!'

The thing controlling Cathy's body sighed but looked up when they heard Yusei speak again, "I know you're keeping her trapped! Let Cathy go!"

Cathy stood up at him with her Galaxy eyes and smiled sadistically, "why don't you just try and make me~? Or are you afraid of hurting her more~? You care that much for this vessel."

Yusei looked at them with a serious expression and balled his hands in a fist. 'This is hurting her! I can't go through with this if it harms my friend!' He thought closing his eyes.

'Yusei. She would want you to do whatever it takes. Both of you mustn't give up.' A gentle woman's voice said in his mind making him open his eyes surprised. He didn't know who it was or where it came from but he new had to continue.

"Stardust Dragon! Attack her life points directly! Cosmic Flare!" Stardust roared loudly and let out a blast towards Cathy as she just smiled watching.

"Oh my gosh it's over folks! Cat is finished and our fiery blonde lost!"

"Why don't you check your fumbling machines humans." Everyone heard the voice say while everybody in the arena looked at the life point counter.

"It's still there?! Oh come on! But how?!" Leo asked frustrated and confused.
