'Three days' Cale calculated as they entered the village. 'Three days until the black dragon cause the mana explosion.'
They are now in the territory of Viscount Tolz. The Viscount had never liked the Henituse County because even though their territory were close to each other, the difference in wealth were miles apart.
'Hah! They even dare to show their contempt towards the Henituse as soon as they joined the Marquis Stan Faction. Neo Tolz, Viscount Tolz's son, had to become Venion Stan's dog in return. I really don't know how they could acting proud.' Cale thought about the information he had about the Tolz.
Anyway, there's a villa that was built a few years ago, on the right side of this village. Although it's known as the Viscount's villa, in reality, it was belonging to Marquis Stan, the one responsible for the black dragon going berserk.
'Behind that villa hides the cave with the black dragon. I could see the small peak to the right of the mountain we have just crossed. Thinking about those people really ruins my mood.' Cale clicked his tongue loudly, annoyed. "Tsk."
Hans, who had misunderstood, quickly started to speak up. "Young master, I will take Choi Han to quickly find an inn so you could rest as quickly as possible. Please just wait a moment."
"Yeah, okay. Whatever." Cale didn't really listen as he was observing Choi Han, who was being dragged by the brave Hans.
Cale could see from the nostalgic looks in Choi Han's eyes that he only allowed Hans to drag him like this because he was lost in thought.
The reason that Choi Han decided to kill the young black dragon in the novel and likely in the past life as well was because this village was very similar to his second home, the Harris village. Another reason was most likely to end the young dragon's misery.
Cale frowned. 'Choi Han shouldn't be lost in those painful memories. It must hurt so much to not be able to protect the home you care about.'
Cale called out without thinking. "Choi Han"
Choi Han turned toward the call of his name. "Yes?"
Cale looked at him firmly, wanted to make sure his message reached across. "Go and hurry back."
"Ah" A small gasp escaped Choi Han's lips. This 17-year-old boy who had lived for tens of years, started to show an innocent smile that fitted his appearance.
He nodded his head vigorously. "Yes, Cale-nim. I will be right back."
Cale, who finally saw the smile on Choi Han's face, waved his hand. He sighed in relief. He preferred this smiling Choi Han over the one that had blank expression a moment ago.
Hans who watched this happening, was feeling a bit sad at the young master's clear difference in treatment, but he smiled brightly afterward because it's just confirmed his belief even more that the young master is a kind person who care enough for his subordinates, to notice even the small detailed changes.

Cale was about to lean back on the soft seat, when he noticed a very fast carriage that was heading straight toward Choi Han and Hans's direction.
Cale had an ominous feeling, he couldn't react for a moment. Until....
An old man fell down in front of the speeding carriage and could not get back up in time to avoid it.
Choi Han who was a distance away, rushed toward the old man in a blink of the eyes, saving the old man from being crushed to death. Though the momentum forced Choi Han to smash into the building wall.
'What is with this cliché situation? But cliché or not, how dare they make my people get hurt?' Cale looked at the flag that was hanging on the other carriage. A red snake, the symbol of Stan family.
"Haa~ bastard" Cale muttered as he tried to calm himself down. 'I can't kill him now, and Choi Han can't do anything to him, either. He will get in trouble, as he's just a commoner.'
Cale opened the door to the carriage when he heard the loud argument between Choi Han and the driver of the Stan's carriage.
"Young master, are you heading there now?" Ron approached and helped his now stoic-faced young master down, as if he haven't heard him curse a moment ago.
"Yes. Who else will go if I don't? The dog seems to do his best to bait me out for his master."
Ron hummed in agreement, but the vice captain seems uneasy at these behavior. He was worried that the incident would grow bigger than it was.
Cale who slowly approached the site of the incident, with Ron and the vice captain followed closely behind. And finally, a man slowly walked out of the carriage when Cale came to a stop next to the arguing men.
Cale still remembered what the information from his father described Venion Stan's personality. [a typical and authoritative noble] but for Cale, Venion is a [typical villain] from the novel as well as a psycho bastard that tortured a young kid for entertainment.
While Cale took just a little time to manage his emotions, the situation seemed to escalate. In these few short moments, Choi Han had already been so angry that his shoulder shook violently.
"How can you commoners get in the way of a noble person like this?" The person who arguing with Choi Han seemed to notice the increasing in audience and argue even more excitedly.
"What the hell are you saying when someone could get hurt? Who are you saying was in the way? This only happened because you were driving the carriage like a maniac!" Choi Han argued back, his control over his emotions seemed to lessen by the minute.
Cale smiled a bit at what Choi Han said, but it quickly turned into a frown. 'All the hard work I did to help Choi Han keeps his negative emotions forgotten'

"Peasants should move out of the way when they see a noble's carriage. It's not my fault that this stupid peasant just stood there without moving." The driver haughtily point towards the old man.
Hans, who was standing next to Choi Han from the beginning, had a frown on his face. He walked toward Cale and whispered into his ear after realizing that the owner of the carriage is none other than Venion Stan.
"Young master, Choi Han-nim seems to be extremely agitated."
Cale couldn't help thinking after hearing what Hans said. 'If this is the past life, this man might have already been killed by Choi Han before he even opens his mouth. Venion might be beaten for allowing his lackey to nearly killed a person.'
Cale whispered to Hans to get the medicine ready when everything is over. He then glanced at Venion, waiting for him to make the first move.
"Enough" Venion gently spoke to his lackey.
As soon as the words came out of Venion's mouth, the lackey quickly moved behind his master as if he hadn't been arguing a second ago.
Only Choi Han who couldn't control his anger was left huffing and puffing while trying to console the old man.
Cale walked calmly toward Choi Han and put his hand on Choi Han's shoulder, making sure it wasn't on the injured place from the impact before. "You, too."
"But—" Choi Han was clenching his fist. He was angry at the face that this so-called noble person put someone's life in danger, but didn't show any remorse or even apologize for it.
He couldn't accept it because he subconsciously compared them to the Henituse family, who had shown him kindness and hospitality. What made it harder was the fact that this place was similar to his second home, the Harris village.
Cale knew why Choi Han was angry. However, the victim in this wasn't able to get angry. It was because he did not have anything to support him.
"Choi Han" Cale put some pressure on the hand that was on Choi Han's shoulder. "Calm down."
Choi Han's black pupils look directly Cale's calm brown eyes and slowly calmed himself down, albeit the difficulty.
Only after confirming that Choi Han had calmed down, escaped from the hold of painful memories, did Cale turned toward Venion Stan, scanning him from head to toe.
Perfectly ironed attire without any wrinkles. Boots without scruff marks. Yet, what caught Cale's attention were the red stains at the end of the sleeves, the blood of the tortured black dragon.
"Nice to meet you. Are you someone from Count Henituse's household?"
"Yes, nice to meet you, too, Young master Venion Stan." Cale smiled and returned the greeting as if nothing had happened between their subordinates.
"Mmm" Venion smiled gently.
Cale felt nothing but disgust seeing that fake gentle smile on Venion's face, he almost showed it on his face.
"I have not had any reason to come to this area and have only heard stories, but I heard that there was someone in the Count's family who was a free-spirit and did not seem like a noble." Venion smiled a bit wider as he gave Cale a look. It was a very annoying look, as if he was trying to start something. "I've heard that young master Basen Henituse had been taking part in all the gatherings of noble since last year—"
Cale didn't give Venion the chance to finish the sentence. He hated this kind of small talk with hidden meanings, and it seems Ron and the just arrived Beacrox hate it, too.
Luckily they are professionals and only leak a small amount of their murderous aura.
"Free spirit? You're too considerate... you could ask straightforwardly, I'll tell you that I am indeed the Trash you are talking about."
Trash. The moment the word personally come out of Cale's mouth, Venion's lackey flinched.
Cale smirked and continued proudly. "The trashiest of all trash."
Cale could hear a small cough from Beacrox who tried his best not to laugh out loud, and from that he could also imagine Ron standing there with his benign smile.
But Cale ignored them and focused on Venion's reaction. He felt the satisfaction when he saw the corner of Venion's lips twitched.
His expression had shown clearly that he had never meet such a crazy person. Cale didn't mind it at all, as long as he could mess with this narcissist a little.
Marquis Stan was someone who was strong enough to lead a faction, but this Venion was nothing until he was officially proclaimed as the future successor of Marquis Stan.
The problem was that the crazy Stan family encouraged competitions between siblings, the Marquis enjoyed watching them fight each other to ruin. This is one of the reason, Taylor Stan, the eldest son ended up being a crippled.
Venion himself still had 2 younger sisters and one younger brother. This guy enjoyed watching the dragon being tortured in order to de-stress from the competition with his siblings.
'This just shows that our Henituse family is the best.' Cale thought to himself. 'Luckily I was born as a Henituse.'
"You are a very interesting person." Venion casually responded to Cale's statement.

The Fate of The Summoned (being ReWritten)
The Fate of The Summoned In the world of Aethion things are vastly different than on Earth. There is Magic and Monsters, as well as Demons and Dragons. Throughout the history of the world there have been many wars, both between all the various nations and kingdoms and between those nations and kingdoms and the Demonic forces lead by a Demon King or Lord. There are times that the Demons gain so much more power than the other nations, or that the others are embroiled in a war against each other and the lone nation is targeted by the demons. It was during these occasions that the various Gods and Goddesses started giving two things to the races. The First of these things were the Blessings, magical blessings given to the worth for chosen things. The Second of these things were the Summoning rituals, magic rituals that could summon beings from somewhere else, that would be Chosen, by the gods. These beings have almost always come from our world, Earth. It has been centuries since this practice began and the countries of the world have almost always flourished for a time after a Chosen or group of them were Summoned. All of the countries treat the Summoned well, almost like kings or princes in their own right. Well, not all countries, there are some that have treated them almost like slaves, though those countries don’t usually last long. There is one though, that has lasted, for a long time due to their connection to their Patron Deity, the Goddess of Light. They only accept certain types of Summoned and they dote on certain members of the country more than others. Several years ago they performed a summoning, as they were being plagued by overflow from the dungeons. Now they, like the other countries of Aethion, have performed the ritual to fight against the current Demon King, who is said to possess a Blessing. This is a story about Fate, and those that fight against it and those who accept it. In this story the main character(s) do not fight their fate, like those in my other story, rather they embrace it and let it shape them, though that does not mean they are total slaves to it. While there will be similarities to most other Hero sumoning novels, i hope the Mcs abilities and such will make it unique.

Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
