Rewind the time a bit to the point where Cale and his group left the dragon behind.
The dragon remembered how the redhead human was pulling the cutting tool from the small bag.
He was clever, he figured it out the spatial magic and found out that he got his own person storage dimension.
He smiled happily to use his ability, his magic for the first time. He placed the small pouch with healing potion inside his storage dimension.
The dragon looked towards the path that the humans had gone to for a moment, before he turned himself invisible, and flew to the different direction.
The dragon headed back to the cave that had been imprisoned him for four years. On the way, he couldn't help but noticed the two small beings digging something out from the dirt.
'Did he saved them too? Did he threaten them to do his deed? Why would they listen to him when they're clearly stronger? Is it because of that dark looking human?' The dragon observed very curiously.
'I have to destroy the entrance first. The great me is a Dragon who won't owe a human any favor.' The dragon flew toward the secret entrance they left from and started to gather his mana.
He destroyed the prison that kept him and caused him pain the first few years of his life. He also made sure to destroy the traces that the human made completely.
Only after destroyed almost everything around as well as causing chaos to the humans in the villa, did he turned to the direction that the weak human went to.

Cale had been sleeping quite well for the first half of the night, until he got a nightmare. He somehow felt a gaze watching him closely, even in his sleep.
The gaze and the nervousness from thinking about Choi Han's reactions earlier that night, triggered a memory he never wanted to remember.

Cale opened his eyes to see a row of photos on the altar. The people in the photos was the people that close enough to be called family, for Kim Roksoo.
The Kim Roksoo who was grumpy and didn't mixed well with people. The one responsible for their death, just like everyone who tried to get close to him.
The memory of when he attended their funeral to say his final goodbye. He was the only one alive after his team was fighting a monster.
The earth had become cataclysmic the year he turned 20. The monsters started to show up and majority of humans on earth had died.
Cale just stood there without moving, without any tears for 'his family'. He was standing there listening to all the comments about him.
"Just how did he manipulate team leader Lee for him (Lee Soohyuk) to insist that he (Kim Roksoo) would be the next team leader?" one person who attended the funeral whispered to his colleague.
"I know, right? Even though he was just a support. How did he survive alone? Maybe he planned all of this. Scary." The colleague whispered back.
'I didn't used them. I didn't want them to die. I don't want to be alone.' Cale wanted to leave but he wanted to finish the funeral procedures, to properly sending the people he loved off.
"And he still has the face to come to their funeral. If you want to act, at least cry a little. He didn't even cry a single drop of tear"
"Yes, what a heartless person. Let's just go when we're done."
Cale clenched his fist and bit his lips. He heard everything, but he didn't want to show any weaknesses to these people.
'I know it was because of me that they died, but they asked me to live, so I couldn't even killed myself. I have to survive no matter what.'

The Dragon who had been watching the weak human slept, suddenly noticed the tears.
'W-What's wrong with him? Did he hurt himself while saving me? Why is he weak to cry like that, even the great me wouldn't cry who I was younger?' The Dragon was panicking, he didn't know what to do.
He hadn't learnt about any of this yet. So, he did the only thing he could do, go wake up the two small beings who were with this weak human. They were sleeping in the corner of the bed.
(A/N: the siblings come after Ron left, then fell asleep as they saw Cale was asleep.)
The Dragon poked the silver one. "Hey. Wake up."
"Mm. What?" On rubbed her eyes.
The Dragon had no choice but to make himself visible.
On gasped. "Y-you come! Oops"
She closed her mouth as quickly as she shouted.
"The great me didn't come for the weak human. The great me just come to observe and learn so I can destroy the guy who hurt me later." The Dragon was standing on his hind legs proudly. "Oh, don't distract me. The weak human is crying. You have to do something. How could I observe him properly if he's so weak to cry in his sleep?"
On jumped in surprise, completely awaken. "Cale cries?"
She quickly went near Cale's face to look. She saw how he trembled and mumbled something, so she leaned a little closer.
"It's my fault. I'm sorry to be alive." Cale was sobbing in his sleep.
"I.... Should I wake him up? Please turn invisible again. I-I'll go get the grandpa, he would know what to do." On jumped off the bed, turned into human to open the door, then turned back to her cat form.
The dragon watched all these with wide eyes. 'She changed to human.'
The dragon was amazed, but he remembered that she told him to turn invisible again, so he did and flew back to the window sill where he could see the human clearly.
Hong who just woke up from the commotions, couldn't make head or tail about the situation. He could only tried to fight his sleepiness and walked toward Cale. He approached Cale's hand and licked it, hoping to comfort him in his sleep.
After less than a minute, On came back with Ron carrying her. Ron placed her away from Cale, also picked Hong up and put him next to On.
"Try not to wake him up by touching him physically. He may woke up hurting you and himself."
Ron had some experiences with this. He used to help Beacrox when they first flee from the Eastern continent.
He comforted Cale in the gentlest voice he could mutter. "It's okay, Cale. It's not your fault. You don't have to be sorry. You have done nothing wrong."
Ron repeated the reassuring and comforting words, until Cale seemed to calm down. Ron sighed a little in relief. Even the kittens and the invisible Dragon seems relieved.
Ron kept comforting for a while more, before he finally reached out his hand to stroke Cale's head gently. "Just what kind of nightmare you have to say all those words?"
Ron then take a handkerchief to wipe Cale's tears and sweat. "Go back to sleep. I'll be here watching him. You, too. Dragon-nim. As young master always said, children need to eat well and sleep well to grow stronger."
The Dragon didn't say anything. He was wondering how he got found out. But he was indeed tired, so he slept peacefully knowing that the weak human wouldn't cry anymore.

Tsuki: a bit short. But as promised, Cale's tears! Hmm I have no idea how to calm a person who is having nightmare... I merely try to follow the advices I got from internet.
Pardon me if it's inaccurate. Enjoy.

To The Far Shore
Post apocalyptic Oregon Trail. The apocalypse has come and gone. And come back again, and left again... nobody really knows how often. Nothing lasts forever, but nothing is ever completely gone. Which is a shame for young Mazelton, as his family has been around a terribly long time, and made an astonishing amount of enemies. Millenia's worth. So he has to run- from mobs, cannibals, soldiers, sailors, cholera, cattle, thieving sales-monks, starvation, mechanical horrors, vengeful spirits, negotiating your own marriage, and poison of every sort. Fortunately, his not terribly nice family has trained him well in the arts of core polishing. Or as you and I might know it- turning radioactive pellets into useful tools. And weapons. Updates Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Usual defensive tags applied. The goal isn't exactly family friendly, but you have probably seen worse on network TV. After the watershed. Not full blown HBO, let's say. This is the first novel I am sharing publicly, so feedback is very much appreciated and encouraged. Act 1 of the novel is completed, but do please let me know what works, what doesn't, and what you would like to see more of. Thank you, and Enjoy!
