The Host Club were outside under the blue sky, peaking through the window that led to the Karate Club, watching the members of that club practice as they observed the middle schooler with golden-brown hair.
"Alright, ten minute break!" Chika announced to everyone curtly.
The men in the room stopped what they were doing and faced their attention to the caption of the Karate Club. "Sir!"
Chika began to walk away, leaving his exhausted club members alone.
"Y'know, Captain Haninozuka sure is a strict captain. No matter how hard we try it's like he's never satisfied." One member commented with his head tilted down, a worn out expression on his face. "I really don't think I can take it."
"Tell me about it." The young man next to him sighed.
"He's a tough captain. But he's nowhere near as skilled at martial arts as his older brother, Mitsukuni." Another young man made mention of the short, golden-blond haired high schooler, making Chika stop in his tracks.
The middle schooler with spectacles over his light brown eyes suddenly appeared in front of the last member who spoke, extending his clenched fist out and almost hitting the member's face. Due to the abrupt actions of Chika, the young man slowly lost one's balance and he landed on the floor on his rear end.
"You will not talk about my brother in my presence do you understand?" He stared down at the male student who he just startled.
"Look! It's Chika, he's so adorable!" Out of nowhere, one out of the four girls that were watching through the slightly opened door awed, lengthening the word 'so'.
"Oh wow, he's so totally cute!" Another girl added with her hands on her cheeks.
"Yeah, Chika's not bad but he's no match for his older brother, Honey!" The two other females fawned with their clenched hands below their chin as they shimmied their bodies in admiration. "He's the cutest thing we've ever seen!"
Chika swiftly materialized through the slightly opened door, making the girls pause their antics. He inconsiderably slammed the door shut, making his club members jolt.
He glanced back at the men in the room. "What are you idiots looking at?! Get started with the next drill!"
"But, we're still on our break, sir!" A male student timidly reminded.
"You've barely broken a sweat." Chika argued. "You bums don't need a break. Start working harder before you're all out!"
"Sir!" The members complied in unison.
"Well, so far it looks like a simple inferiority complex." Hikaru noted, crouching down in front of the window beside Haruhi. Y/n was crouched next to her sister, positioned on her right side was Kaoru who had Kyoya next to him. Tamaki was crouched down behind Haruhi as Mori and Honey stood a couple of feet away from them.
"He's always being compared to Honey-Senpai so that's why he feels such animosity towards him. His older brother is more attractive, more popular and a better martial artist than he is." Kaoru affirmed with his index finger pointed upwards. "I think he's just letting his jealousy get the best of him."
"It's totally normal and way boring." The twins stood with their hands on their hips, now standing along with the others. "We're gonna go find something more entertaining." They began to skip away, closely beside each other.
"Hold on! Come back here you two!" Tamaki called out to them, causing the identical twins to halt their movements and look back at him. "Why are you suddenly being so uncooperative?"

"Well, we thought there'd be an interesting, secret reason they're fighting. This is just lame." The twins responded with a shrug, soon bringing their hands together.
"So Honey-Senpai and Chika's feelings aren't exciting enough?!" Tamaki exclaimed irritably, flailing his arms around.
"It's okay Tama-Chan, really."
The six hosts turned their attention to Honey who took a couple of steps towards them.
"But, Honey-Senpai." The blond haired male began in serenity.
"It's alright; don't worry about me. So what if Chika-Chan hates me." Honey held Usa-Chan with a tranquil expression. "I would be happy just seeing him grow up to be strong and healthy; he is my brother after all."
Y/n looked at Honey with soft, slightly saddened eyes. 'Even though his brother wants nothing to do with him, Honey-Senpai still wants to be there for Chika.'
"Um, he's already a lot taller than you Honey-Senpai." Kaoru chimed in, waving his hand absentmindedly.
"Yeah, he's pretty grown up and plenty healthy." Hikaru agreed.
"'Scuse me, could you guys please keep it down."
The hosts--except Mori, Kyoya, and Honey--jumped when they heard and noticed Chika standing right behind them with an irked definition on his face.
Chika's light brown eyes landed on his older brother, making them narrow and form into a hard glare. He raised his fists, getting into a fighting stance. "What're you doing here? I thought I had told you to stay away from me at school Mitsukuni!"
He charged towards the golden-blond haired male and thrusted a kick at him. Honey dodges Chika's kick by using his own leg to block as the twins and Tamaki jumped back, the twins letting out a yelp in the process.
Chika stepped back, still in his fighting posture as he stared at his older brother who was just standing there. "You alien. Would you just leave me alone."
"But Chika-Chan..." Honey started in a dejected tone.
"What's he mean 'alien'?" The twins inquired, staring at each other.
"That's a little far-fetched. Why would you call him that?" Y/n questioned with a bit of attitude and crossed her arms. "Just because your brother is stronger than you are doesn't give you the right to call him names."
"Yeah, why are you so upset about cake and stuffed animals?" Tamaki asked the middle schooler, the knuckle of his index finger pressed against his chin in a wondering manner.
"Well if it was just about the cake and stuffed animals I would never have said anything." Chika acknowledged, his body twitching as he spoke. He relaxed his posture and was no longer displaying physical defense. "Let's get this straight, I didn't call my brother an alien because he's stronger than me." He forcefully pointed an accusing finger at Honey, causing Tamaki to flinch at his upcoming outburst. "Have any of you ever seen him devour an entire cake?! Don't tell me you guys think that's perfectly normal! He has three whole cakes every night for dessert! Seriously--three cakes a night! And he never gains weight!" He eventually calmed himself down. "And then something crazy occurred last week."
Chika tilted his head down and began to explain. "I happened to wake up in the middle of the night. And I noticed that the light was on in the dining room." He continued to describe how creepy Honey sounded and looked due to the candles in the dining room that night, making the twins, Haruhi, Y/n, and Tamaki sweat drop.
"C'mon, be honest..." Chika started before raising his voice, an annoyed expression evident on his face. "You know there's no way that a regular human being can eat that much cake! Aren't you terrified?! I bet he gets signals from his home planet through that weird bunny of his! Why can't you see that he's an alien?!"

"When you think about it-" Haruhi and Y/n initiated in a deadpanned tone.
"-everything Chika just said to us-" Tamaki continued.
The twins shrugged one of their arms up. "-suddenly makes perfect sense, doesn't it?" They connected the tip of their index finger with one another's.
Chika turned himself around, his back now facing the hosts. "I don't know though... There was a time when Mitsukuni and I got along really well. While it's true that my brothers always had a fondness for cute things and more of a sweet tooth than I have. I still respected his ability to avoid that stuff even though he loved it. And then this idiot came along and brainwashed him with some ridiculous nonsense. Something about acknowledging who you really are and just being yourself. That that's true strength."
Y/n, Haruhi, and the twins glanced at Tamaki with a knowing and accusing look, which made the blond haired male look away and sweat drop.
Chika collapsed down onto his knees, his hands over his face. "Not long after that he fell apart and became the alien he is today."
"Oh, I see, so all of Chika's troubles-" Hikaru held up his index finger, directing it towards Tamaki.
"-can be traced right back to you, isn't that true boss?" Kaoru examined.
"What are you talking about?! I didn't mean to!" He defended frantically. "There's gotta be some way we can fix this! Come on, you guys!"
Mori placed his hand on Honey's shoulder, making the short male look up at him. "There is a way to solve this, you know."
Tamaki turned his gaze to Mori in relief. "You've got it figured out?"
The tall, dark haired third year ignored his underclassman's question. "So Mitsukuni, you know what to do."
Honey stared at his cousin for a moment before looking at Chika softly. "Listen, Chika-Chan, I never meant to upset you. I didn't know that you hated sweets that much and I'm very sorry."
"Oh no, it looks like he missed the point completely." Haruhi pointed out with slumped shoulders. Y/n slowly nodded, a vacant expression on her face as well as on Tamaki's.
"Nobody can make me change who I am. And I'm really grateful to Tama-Chan and all of the Host Club because they've shown me that." Honey gently enlightened before suddenly making his tone of voice serious, causing his younger brother to look at him over his shoulder. "So. Let's settle this like men, in the Haninozuka style... Yasuchika."
"Damn, shit is about to go down." Y/n muttered with moderately widened eyes, making Haruhi lightly slap the back of her head.
"Watch your language, and right now is not the time, Y/n."

The Host Club and Chika were standing in the middle of an open field, the wind blowing through the grass. Honey and Chika stood in the center of the spread out field while the others stood off to the side.
'Since when does Ouran have a field like this...?' Y/n and Haruhi thought in unison, examining their surroundings--which there wasn't much to look at since there were no trees or building around.
"And don't forget Chika-Chan, this is a one-point match." Honey reminded.
"So what happens if I win?" Chika questioned with the same stern expression and tone as his brother.
"If you win I'll stop eating cake in the middle of the night."
"All right." Chika accepted Honey's arrangement.
"Are you ready for battle, men?" Mori's monotone voice sounded through their ears, his arms crossed over his chest. "Then, you may begin."
Instead of Chika charging towards Honey like the first battle they had, the golden-blond haired male lunged towards the middle schooler first, throwing a kick at him but the male student with glasses jumped and did a flip to dodge his brothers attack.
Honey threw punches repeatedly at Chika, but the Junior high student just avoided them with ease before diving down and sweeping his leg into Honey's so he would trip him.
Honey suddenly took out a metal staff from behind his back, keeping his distance away from his young brother.
"Is it just me? Or is this fight turning out exactly like the one they had earlier?" Tamaki questioned, his eyes remaining on the fight.
"It's not just you who's thinking that." Y/n assured as she watched the battle between the two brothers endure in front of her.
"Yes, but this time their roles are reversed." Kyoya remarked.
"Mitsukuni's already planned how this entire fight will pan out." Mori began to inform. "Yasuchika will attack with his shuriken any moment now."
Honey was striking his younger brother with the staff, until--just like what the tall, dark haired male predicted--Chika jumped up and threw a bunch of shurikens towards Honey all at once, making the golden-haired young man use his metal staff to knock away the shurikens.
"Whoa, he called it!" The twins pointed out in slight disbelief, observing the fight intensely.
"Uhm, Mori-Senpai, where do they hide these shuriken?" Haruhi questioned, nervousness discernible in her voice.
"I have been watching these two brothers spar for many years. And it didn't take long before I noticed that in every match Yasuchika incorporates moves that Mitsukuni used in the previous match. Mitsukuni realized it as well, and he always tries to give his brother the opportunity to practice those new techniques. He may call him an alien, but as far as martial arts are concerned, Yasuchika has a deep respect for Mitsukuni and his abilities. I think all he really wants is to be like his older brother. They are connected just as two siblings ought to be. And personally, I think a little sibling rivalry is perfectly normal." Mori elucidated, sharing his opinion about Honey and Chika's sibling relationship with his hands in his pockets. "There's no need to worry about the outcome of this match. I can already tell you that Mitsukuni's planning to throw the fight and let Yasuchika beat him. Trust me, I know everything there is to know about him."
"Defend yourself!" Honey shouted as he jumped up and harshly kicked Chika, not holding back his strength as the consequence of the golden-blond haired male's kick made his younger brother lift off the surface due to the force of Honey's strike and land on the grass.
Y/n stared at Mori with a raised eyebrow, essentially giving him a look that challenged him to repeat his previous words.
Honey jumped up in victory, a wide, closed eyed grin on his face. "Yay! I'm the winner! Cake! Cake! Cake!" He glorified, now holding his pink stuffed bunny. "I have an idea! Since I won, I think we should start having special cake night three times a week!"
Mori was on his hands and knees, vanquishment consuming his aura. Tamaki and the twins quickly kneeled down beside him, attempting to cheer up their upperclassman.
"Don't let it get you down, Mori-Senpai." The three of them clenched their fists, gently and quietly motivating him.
'Wow. Honey-Senpai's love of cake passes his love for his own brother. How awful.' Y/n thought as she looked at the gratified third year.
Her brown eyes soon landed on Chika, who was still on the ground on his front side with his foot twitching. His glasses were a few feet away from him and he had a big lump on his head.
Y/n walked towards him and slightly crouched down beside him, being mindful of her skirt so she wouldn't expose anything that didn't need to be. She immediately caught the middle schooler's attention as he looked up at her and noticed that she has extended her hand out to him.
"Are you okay?"
Chika stared at Y/n with rather widened eyes. He hesitantly accepts her hand and allows her to help him up from the grass. She crouched back down and picked up his glasses and handed it to him.
"You did really good. Keep up the hard work." Y/n encouraged with the corners of her lips curving upwards.
"Uh, thanks..."
Y/n hummed with a gentle smile and walked back to where the hosts were, but before she did she showed Chika a small wave of her hand.
'He still has a lot ahead of him.' Y/n thought with a small smile, the wind graciously blowing through her shoulder length, wavy, brown hair. 'After all, he is still in middle school. He still has a lot to learn.'
