Y/n's inquisitiveness lingered as she and Kyoya proceeded to their next destination that the raven haired male refuses to inform the girl about.
Her curiosity didn't last long as Kyoya stopped walking in front of the entrance to a shopping district. It wasn't a luxurious one, but it wasn't the usual shopping complex either--it comprised of extravagant-looking stores and stores that seemed affordable.
Y/n gazed up at Kyoya with a questioning countenance. "What're we doing here?"
"I presumed you'd enjoy walking around a plaza as demonstrated." Kyoya rejoined with one of his hands in his pockets. He directed his brownish-grey eyes towards the brown haired female. "If I do remember correctly, back when I was brought to that department store by Tamaki and the others, I was left with you and Haruhi. I couldn't help but notice that you kept observing stores that we walked passed."
Y/n expressed a definition of surprise and impress towards her upperclassman's awareness. "Wow. I didn't know you were that observant, Senpai."
Kyoya turned his head forward, his eyes closed as he displayed a faint, effortless shrug of his shoulders with a small smirk on his lips. "You ought to be acquainted with the fact that I'm perpetually keen on my surroundings by now, Y/n." He began to walk into the outdoor shopping district. "Let's get a move on."
Y/n remained motionless as she blinked, then caught up to the raven haired male, causing her to walk beside him.
The first store they entered was an expensive-looking clothing store. As Y/n analyzed the fashion outlet, Kyoya just stayed near her and traveled to wherever she went.
Y/n looked through the apparels that were exhibited on a clothing rack. She moved some of the clothing hangers and stopped on a random short, black, tube dress. To put it mildly, she was curious about the value of the store. She ensured that Kyoya wasn't looking at her by capturing a swift glance at him. Fortunately, he was facing away from her, looking at something that was positioned on a display table behind Y/n. She turned her attention back towards the dress and overturned the small price tag that was attached to the smooth fabric.
Y/n's eyes widened and her mouth became agape as she stared at the expense. 'Twenty thousand yen?! I know this store is elegant and all, but that much money for a black dress? Damn these rich people...'
She detached her hands from the lavished dress and walked away from the clothing rack as if nothing happened, appearing next to Kyoya.
"Did you discover anything that caught your eye?" Kyoya quizzed, glancing down at her.
"Oh, uh, not really." Y/n responded considerately before averting her head to the side, sweat dropping. 'Mostly because everything here isn't really my style and because of the prices.'
"Very well then." Kyoya began as Y/n redeemed her functioning, glancing back at the raven haired male. "Are you ready to search another store?"
"Sure." Y/n showed a small nod of her head, soon exiting the clothing store with Kyoya as they continued to examine the shopping district.

Y/n and Kyoya strolled around the shopping complex for about two hours already, observing the numerous amount of stores that were available, and just being pleased by each other's existence.
Kyoya glanced down at his watch that rested upon his left wrist as he and Y/n entered a jewelry store.
Y/n noticed the young man's actions. "Is everything okay?" She questioned.
Kyoya brought his hand back to his side. "Everything is fine. I was just checking the time so we can arrive at our next location for our date as scheduled."

"Huh? I thought this was the only place you planned without me knowing." Y/n voiced as the two individuals discontinued their movements in front of a display table.
"Those weren't my exact words. I organized a few more arrangements." Kyoya began, staring down at the brown haired female. "I didn't just plan on us coming to this shopping plaza."
"Oh, yeah." Y/n recalled, a small smile forming on her lips. "What else did you plan?"
"You'll see." Kyoya concluded, a small, complacent smirk on his lips.
Y/n deadpanned at the boy's response. "I should've seen that coming..."
Suddenly, Y/n caught a glimpse of a miniature gleam from the corner of her eye. She turned to the direction of where it came from and began to walk towards the area. Kyoya held a vague expression of confusion as he followed after her, wondering what has caught her attention.
She paused in front of a small display that was against the wall, which accommodated necklaces hanging from it but a certain pendant was awarded with her brown eyes.
She gently placed her hand behind the necklace, making it rest against the palm of her hand. It was a thin, silver chain that exhibited a sakura cherry blossom. The small, pale purple petals of the pendant made the necklace look appealing but the miniature, pinkish-purple jewel that was in the middle of the cherry blossom completed the whole necklace.
Y/n studied the piece of jewelry in wonderment. It really was a beautiful accessory and she would be lying if she said she didn't want it.
"Would you like to try it on?" Kyoya offered from behind her, making the girl pull herself out of her trance.
"Can I?" She replied with a question of her own, glancing back at him for permission.
Instead of assuring the girl that she has authority of putting the neck accessory on, he carefully grabbed the necklace from where it was positioned.
Y/n gazed at him with furrowed eyebrows that represented confusion. "Kyoya-Senpai, what-"
"Turn around."
Y/n moderately tilted her head to the side, mentally questioning his intentions before solving what his objective was. The female soon complied the young man's instructions and turned herself around, making her back face the raven haired male. She gathered her shoulder length, wavy hair and held it away from her neck, tilting her head down slightly so he wouldn't have a hard time putting the necklace on her.
Kyoya unclasped the necklace before gently situating it on Y/n. She felt his somewhat warm fingers graze the back of her neck as he locked the chain in place.
"There's a mirror positioned beside you so you could examine your appearance." Kyoya informed to the girl as she settled her head normally and let go of her hair. She turned around to face Kyoya, making a small, genuine smile form on his lips. "It looks magnificent on you."
"Thank you, Kyoya-Senpai." She showed the said boy a smile. "You really think so?" She asked as she approached the small, circular mirror.
"How about you look for yourself."
Y/n smiled softly at her reflection as she looked at the necklace around her neck. 'It's so pretty... It reminds me of mom.' She delicately placed her index and middle finger on the pendent as she admired it on herself.
Her thoughts came to a halt as a small frown appeared on her lips. Yes, it was a beautiful accessory and she would love to have it, but she didn't bring enough money for something like this, and knowing that this place is an expensive jewelry store, the necklace would cost a fortune. She saw the very small price tag that was on the chain of the necklace. Her thoughts were proven to be correct once she caught sight of the price.

'One hundred-thousand yen...' She thought. She mentally sighed as she unclasped the necklace from around her neck.
Kyoya displayed a faint expression of confusion as he noticed her change of behavior. "What's wrong?"
"Hm?" Y/n glanced back at Kyoya, swiftly plastering on a smile on her lips as she waved one of her hands dismissively. "Oh, there's nothing wrong. I just changed my mind, that's all." She said as she put the necklace back to where it previously was.
Y/n walked away from where she stood and traveled to another section of the store, exploring some more before they leave.
Kyoya stared at the girl as she walked away, soon directing his attention back towards the necklace Y/n admired seconds ago before altering her notion of the jewelry.
He deliberately grabbed the necklace and examined the small price tag that resembled the size of a whole fingernail. "Ah, so that's what changed her mind..."

Y/n and Kyoya were departed from the shopping district, now seated in Kyoya's limousine that has collected them to drive them to the next destination the third son of the Ootori family has planned.
Once the vehicle slowly came to a stop, Y/n looked out the car window to see that they paused in front of a wealthy-looking restaurant.
The chauffeur opened the backseat of the limousine, allowing the two teenagers to exit the vehicle.
Y/n surveyed the exterior of the restaurant. "You made plans for us here?" She questioned, sounding rather uncertain of the situation.
"Yes, I hope you don't mind." Kyoya confirmed, fixing the rolled up sleeves of his black, button up shirt.
"It's not like I mind or anything but..." Y/n trailed off, glancing down at her attire. "I don't think I'm properly dressed for this."
Kyoya gazed down at the wavy haired female, the lenses of his glasses casting a glare due to the setting sun. "I made reservations for a private room." He began to take a couple of steps forward before halting his movements and turning his head to the side to glance back at her with a small smirk. "Although, in my opinion, I find what you're wearing quite appealing on you."
Y/n remained motionless for a moment, a fluttery sensation roaming around in her stomach as a faint blush appeared on her cheeks. "Uh, thanks." She muttered and walked alongside with him.
As they entered the restaurant, Kyoya verified their reservation to the formal host, who was stationed near the entrance of the restaurant. The host led the two high schoolers to a room that exhibited a beige colored sliding door.
During their journey to the reserved room, Y/n received glances from the individuals that she passed by with Kyoya, some customers whispering questions of who she was and why she was with the third son of the Ootori family.
After the host assisted the two teenagers with sitting down, he provided them with two menus. "Enjoy your dinner." He indicated with a small bow, afterwards leaving the room.
"This is a nice place." Y/n commented as she acknowledged the details and decor of the room they were in.
"It's the finest." Kyoya accorded, scanning through the menu he was holding. "It belongs to a very successful establishment company that operates eateries."
Y/n hummed in awareness and directed her gaze towards the menu in her hands. 'Damn, these prices are high. I probably seem so cheap right now...' She thought as her eyebrow twitched while looking at the food options, sweat assembling on the side of her forehead.
"And another thing." Kyoya began, gaining the attention of the female sitting across from him. "I'm paying for dinner."
"Huh?" Y/n commenced, placing her menu down on the surface of the table. "No, it's all right. You don't have to do that, Kyoya-Senpai." She made the palms of her hands viewable, rejecting his proposal. "I'll feel bad about it if you do."
"This isn't up for discussion." Kyoya finalized, his brownish-grey eyes staring into Y/n's brown orbs. "I arranged more plans without your knowledge of it. And I doubt you brought an ample amount of money for something related to this."
'Well...he's not wrong.' Y/n inwardly admitted, releasing a small sigh.
"Order whatever you find appetizing." Kyoya enabled, glancing back at his menu.
"Thank you, Kyoya-Senpai." Y/n displayed a small, appreciative smile as she picked up the menu she was previously holding, looking at the choices of meals once again. 'I guess I could get the steak with the baked potatoes...'
- - - -
"That was a great dinner. I can't wait for Haruhi and dad to try it." Y/n articulated with a satisfied smile on her lips, holding up a brown paper bag that utilized a black take-out container that held the food she didn't finish, her other wrist being accompanied by the small bag she received from the aquarium.
"I'm glad you relished your meal." Kyoya said, adjusting his spectacles that rested on his face.
The two teenagers were currently walking through the concrete path of a small park--the park's post lanterns emitting light due to the sun being replaced with the moon as the sky exhibited nightfall along with tiny specks of stars. There were even a small amount of cherry blossom trees around the public park as well as normal evergreen trees. Some of the mixture of pink blossoms gracefully descended from their branches and drifted through the gentle wind that attended the undisturbed evening.
Kyoya suddenly came to a stop, making Y/n discontinue her movements and turn around to look at him.
"Is something wrong?" She asked.
"Not in the least." He assured as he placed his hand in his left pocket, laying hold of the item that was in his pocket, pulling it out so it could be visible to the female's line of vision. "I just want to present this to you."
Y/n looked closely at what Kyoya held in his hand--it was a long, black jewelry box. Y/n expressed a definition of puzzlement, but that expression quickly vanished once the raven haired male removed the lid of the box.
"It's...the necklace." Y/n mumbled with widened eyes, staring at the familiar neck accessory she admired back at the jewelry store, the acquainted pinkish-purple gem glinting under the post lantern. "How did you-"
Already knowing what she was going to ask, Kyoya spoke up. "I purchased it for you when you weren't looking."
"Why would you do that?" She questioned in a low voice, glancing up at her upperclassman.
"It's rather indisputable, really. You valued it once you caught sight of it and it was apparent that you wished for it." Kyoya pointed out, disconnecting the the beautiful cherry blossom necklace from the jewelry box. "Furthermore, it appeared to look quite enchanting on you."
Y/n gazed at the raven haired male with an awestruck expression which was merged with one of shock. "You really didn't have to do that. You already paid for my dinner... You've done enough already."
"I don't mind. Besides," he walked around Y/n, making her back face him. He shifted her hair away from the back of her neck so he could be able to place the necklace on her, "a first date with someone you admire should be unforgettable."
Y/n moderately glanced down at the concrete path with a soft smile on her lips as a shade of pink became evident on her cheeks. The identical feeling of a fluttery sensation swarmed around in her stomach. She transferred the small bag she obtained from the aquarium to her left wrist, which also had the handles of the brown paper bag around it. "I know I've been saying this all day, but...," she turned around to face the young male, "thank you, Kyoya-Senpai. Today has been really wonderful."
Kyoya displayed a small smile on his lips as he gently grabbed ahold of Y/n's right hand, vaguely lowering his upper body in a bow as he brought her hand up to his slightly slender lips, planting a delicate kiss on her knuckles.
"It was an honor, Y/n."
