relations- they're just a nuisance, something that always holds you back and hurt you- so taehyung never had any of them worth cherishing.
well, until he met jimin.
in jimin he had got something better- a friend, a soulmate, a someone who made surviving easier for him.
they had a comfortable routine everyday; as much messy as it could be, it was effective- be it waking up, taking turns in the shower, feeding oreo or hurrying to class still munching on leftover bread.
as for college, classes are pretty much uneventful for taehyung- trying to ace every tests, him just being extra alert, tuning out the bullyings, being careful of his steps- nothing worth keeping in his memory.
truthfully, uneventful is enjoyable when thats your preference; when you hate being thrown into unexpected situations.
so taehyung just hid himself from everything as much as he can, limiting his interactions and cooping himself between college and their apartment.
but unfortunately jimin was the exact opposite. the omega was popular considering he is quite an eye candy.
when taehyung drowns himself in oversized hoodies, jimin wore lace and leather. its not like taehyung doesn't like things pretty, he just chooses whats convenient- and occasionally jimin would successfully dress taehyung up and drag him to clubs.
sometimes getting out is nice and he would indulge himself in one-night stands, if he find someone good enough.
so, afterall there was some spice in his otherwise uneventful life.
taehyung took his time lazying around the apartment that evening, since jimin wont be home tonight.
he babied oreo, watched her ran around the apartment with jimins socks in her mouth and scrolled through his phone, calculating on the assignments thats in immediate need to finish.
then, he dragged himself for that routine shower- this time really taking his time washing off the stress, shampooing his hair and humming a tune.
just as he was washing off the bubbles, he heard a light movement outside followed by oreo meowing.
"guess jimin had change of plans?" taehyung thinks.
if jimin is home, that means they'll have to cook. the other never let taehyung skip his meals.
taehyung sighed, brain already calculating on what must be left in the fridge worth to cook something edible.
he wore a black tanktop and pulled up grey sweatpants, toweling his wet hair as he came outside.
"you came bac-" taehyungs voice died in his throat when he met was two unknown people in his apartment instead of jimin.
they were sitting on their bed as if they own the place, the bright hairs contrasting their black attire- taehyungs eyes could pick up their aura that screams nothing but terror.
one of them, a beta by the scent of it had oreo on his lap, contentedly petting the cat, meanwhile the other was examining a frame they had on the table- the one the two omegas took on their outing to a beach a few months back.
"your roomie is cute" the said guy's abnormally cheery voice had taehyung jolting from the initial shock, senses getting alert and muscles freezing as if expecting worse.
the worse only comes with kinds like them.
"hello taehyung. come lets go for a ride" the mint haired one that is petting his cat spoke, voice all even.
the omegas breathing picked up to the slightest, as his brain stormed for a way to escape.

with his leg he sure cant outrun and his gun which he hasn't used in years is buried deep under the clothes, away from jimins eyes.
he knew this was coming one day, but he is still so under prepared.
"he doesn't like waiting" the alpha put the frame down and grabbed taehyung by the biceps.
he hates this- an alpha touching him like that. but he knew right now he has to stay calm if he has to come out of whatever this is alive.
"you must survive, taehyung-ah" his mind replayed.
taehyung didn't protest much, though he pulled his hand away on instinct, but the grip only tightened, as the alpha walked towards the door with a smile all too happy on his face.
"come on, yoons" he called back and the mint haired beta reluctantly put oreo down with one last pat and joined them.
oreo meowed and trotted to taehyung seeing that her human is leaving, wide black eyes looking up at taehyung and running in between his legs.
the alpha politely pulled taehyung, closed the door behind, leaving oreo alone in the apartment, as taehyung was made to descend down the steps.
black dots swimmed in his vision at the anxiety, a slight shiver itching at his fingers and taehyung felt anger, a sort of helplessness.
for a second, taehyung thought of fighting the other two.
he wasn't exactly fragile per se- he does his own training and daily pushups. but the alpha holding him though slim has very much strength, if the iron grip on him says and the beta, he knows must be very well trained.
and yelling for help would only end with a bullet to his head.
all his hopes dissolved when he saw the two sets of guards and additional people outside and just like that taehyung was pushed inside the vehicle, though not with much malice.
the alpha got in the front seat and the beta got on his right side.
just as the car moved, taehyung shivered, probably at being under dressed or its the anxiety kicking in.
he wishfully thought if he could ever see jimin again or pet oreo. he suddenly felt bad for declining jimin to binge watch "grey's anatomy" last night, just because he had a stupid assignment to finish.
but right now he just has to survive.
just survive.
throughout the ride, taehyung unintentionally chanted just that in his mind.
for now the car was silent, just following behind the black suv on their front-
taehyung had a vague idea on where he might end up today- that somewhere he ran away years back.
he might see those unpleasant faces again- his father and that bastards family.
when that day taehyung ran away and no one came to drag him back, he was relieved. but deep inside he knew, he knew that there is no forever escape from such a life.
it will just penetrate deep into you, rooting you to all the misery, till there is nothing left but just blood and skeletons.
taehyung gulped multiple times, keeping his legs close and body away from the mint haired guy as much as he can- his recessive omega side feeling uncomfortable among the close proximity of unknown people and the impending danger.
he never strayed his eyes from his own palm, watching the way shadows ran past and light seemingly diminished as time was closing in on sunset.

after taking too many unknown turns and paths, it stopped outside somewhere, but that was not the place taehyung was expecting.
it was somewhere taehyung has never been before- a grand mansion of some sort- it looked nothing fancy and rather worned out on the outside, as if purposefully to not draw too much attention.
taehyungs curious eyes were so busy staring through the tinted glass, he flinched backward when the door was suddenly opened for him.
he reluctantly, having got no other choice, stepped outside into the cold pavement.
the door was closed and the car drove off.
taehyung felt ridiculous- here he was infront of a mansion, people dressed to the point around him- meanwhile he in a tanktop, sweatpants and barefoot, clueless and afraid.
"come on taehyung- ssi" the alpha opened the tall door, looking at him with a smile and keeping it open for taehyung to slid inside.
then and there he wanted to scream- ask who they are? what this place is? but taehyung has enough experience to know that, these people are just subordinates working under someone powerful most probably.
so again noting that he has no way escaping right now from these armed men, he walked up the steps and got in past the door, entering into rather a large hall.
he could hear loud talkings, laughs and other unknown sounds- but taehyung was guided away from that all, now infront of a rather dim lit corridor and the three- taehyung, the mint haired one and the alpha stopped outside a room with intricate doors.
the alpha knocked before entering, just lightly turning his head, maybe as a warning to taehyung- that whoever inside is important and not to be messed with.
suddenly his throat felt dry, air a bit suffocating, and a few steps later taehyung was inside the room, facing the watchful eyes of a man- a man who oozed power and authority.
the two men that had accompanied him bowed with a "hyungnim" and proceeded to plop onto a leather couch on the right end of the room.
unlike what it looked from outside, the room is large, black, rustic and expensive.
now that he is left in the middle alone with this unknown man scrutinizing him head to toe, taehyung unconsciously hugged his bare arms closer to his torso.
"hobi-ah get a warm coat for our guest" the man in suit said, eyes still on taehyung and voice with a gentleness that had the alpha on the couch scramble out to obey the order.
"its nice to finally meet you, taehyung-ssi. take a seat" the persons every word felt like a command and taehyung obeyed it for his own sake, sitting down on one of the many chairs on the other side of the table.
"i hope the unexpected appearance of my men-- didn't hinder any of your schedule" each of his words were calculative, as if to pry something out of taehyung, as if he is assessing the omega.
taehyungs thinly veiled patience was honestly melting away.
"who are you? what do you want from me?" taehyung was straightforward, not a big fan of these casual talk and games.
the man chuckled.
"jeon seokjin" the man simply uttered and taehyung froze.
jeon seokjin. that did ring a few many bells. maybe its been 4 years, but some names still stays in your unconsciousness.
"and i just wanted to meet you in person, taehyung-ssi. afterall we are going to be-- acquaintances" seokjin had leaned back onto his chair.
just then the door opened again and taehyung felt a long black coat being placed around his shoulders- it warm against his cold skin.
acquaintances?
"you must have the wrong person. i have nothing to do with you" taehyung was stern, almost angered, because this man just dragged him into this for no reason.
"kim taehyung, the only omega son of kim kyungjae-" the man said and taehyung tensed.
the reaction was instant- hearing that wretched name itself disgusts him- his father, that monster.
of course, seokjin noticed it- that tightening of taehyungs jaw, that intensity in his eyes, a few laboured breaths of air- the omega got quite a fierceness.
"definitely goes well with his brother" seokjin thinks.
"you're exactly the one we wanted, taehyung-ssi" a smirk creeped up seokjins pump lips.
the omega was silent. he just wanted to get out of there and just runaway to somewhere far.
"ah its already 7. your father will be here any minute to pick you up" seokjin said eyeing at the pristine watch on his wrist and the anxiousness in taehyung increased ten fold.
he can never bear to look at that man again.
then through the silence that stretched- the only thing that could be heard was taehyungs slightly laboured breaths, the two men on the couch talking and the rapid taps of seokjins fingers on the phone screen- every minute was torture.
if taehyung begs, would they let him go? no.
he is nothing for them- they could put a bullet through his skull, throw his body in han river and no one would know, no one would ask.
"you must surv-"
no, he cant.
he cant go back to that life again.
instinctively he got up- the chair making an irritating scraping noise against the wood flooring.
taehyung dared a look right at seokjins eyes- not pleading, not daring- it lacks emotion; the types seokjin is used to see when he ends someone and when they know that there is no hope.
neither seokjin, nor his men on the couch bat an eye when taehyung bolts outside, leaving the door open and gaping causing light to flood into the dark corridor.
taehyung stumbles, head looking back and forth to locate the door, but all he did was barrel into another person-
the musky scent associated with alphas had him backing off with fear, but those hands tightened on him, bruisingly so.
"who the fuck are you?" the person growled at him, and tears pooled in his eyes, leaving him only capable of seeing only the silhouette of the man towering above him.
"let him go, kook-ah" taehyungs brain registered the distant voice of seokjin and the hold on him withdrawed that instant.
taehyung is free again.
so he runs- not caring of the sharp digging pain in his foot, taehyung runs to the large door and pulls it open.
it was dark outside, dotted across by artificial lights; just as like when he arrived, there are cars and guards around,
taehyung freezes.
there right outside the door was his father; old, poised and dominant as ever.
the exact person from whom he ran away four short years ago.

Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up?
