"i cant. just not today p-please"
jungkook had mirth in his eyes, tongue sliding out to wet his chapped lips, as he leaned further into taehyungs space.
"cant what?" the words uttered so close to his face had taehyung averting his face.
"jungkook just-"
"didnt you heard what your father said?" jungkook mocked, a hand coming down to glide over taehyungs shoulder and the omega jerked away.
"dont you want to please your appa ?" he taunted.
tears pricked the corners of taehyungs eyes in shame, but he wasn't going to cry infront of him.
"seems like kim's little boy is all bark and no bite-" jungkook cooed in fake sympathy, a finger about to caress taehyungs face, but taehyung pushed the hand away, glaring up.
jungkook chuckled,
like the devil himself. it was bone-chilling and those eyes were looking at taehyung like he knew it all- even his deepest, darkest secrets.
the alpha then withdrawed completely, turning around and walking futher into a room, all the while taking off his suit jacket.
taehyung stayed plastered to the wall, frozen, and jungkooks voice came from inside the room-
"are you going to stand there all night?"
taehyung gulped, then taking in a shaky breath as he padded towards the said room cautiously, stopping by the door- not really trusting enough to be in the same bedroom as the alpha.
the bedroom, like the rest of the apartment was black themed- even the sheets on the bed. it was spacious and dim light, oddly clean and jungkook was by the bed untucking his shirt, back turned towards him.
when the alpha saw taehyung hesitating by the door, he said-
"i'm not going to jump on you, if thats what you're wondering"
he then took a once over of taehyungs form and added,
"just not today"
that was not exactly assuring and he doesn't trust a jeon with a bit of his life, but taehyung did step into the bedroom.
but when jungkook swiftly unbuttoned his shirt and took it off, taehyung was a second away from running off for life.

"there are clothes for you inside that cupboard" jungkook had pointed, but taehyung was quite distracted by the tattoos that curl over that extended arm.
nevertheless he nodded.
the alpha had then turned around and taehyung audibily gulped. taehyung always had a thing or two for muscles.
jungkook had a knowing smirk on his face,
"having any second thoughts taehyung-ssi? you seem to like what you see" the alpha tongued at his cheek.
"you think too highly of yourselves, jeon" taehyung didn't miss a beat.
jungkook clucked his tongue, eyes darkening for a mere second.
"you can take a turn after i shower" the alpha had then said and he dissappeared into the adjacent bathroom.
taehyung heaved out a very relieved sigh.
he had all his limps and most of his sanity intact. so far so good.
he sat his bum on the plush bed, stretching his tired legs, then not so idly took of his shoes, just to free his aching foot.
he fell back on the bed, not even really caring about his suffocating attire- it felt like an elephant is sitting on him, the days of physical and mental exhaustion weighing in on him.
he lifts his left hand- the giant ring on it shining in the light.
taehyung scoffs.
the ring on him feels more like he is branded; too blingy, too big and made as so no one would miss the shine.
the hand fell back and taehyung stared up at the ceiling. he traced his eyes over the golden illuminations and he could hear the faint sound of water running in the bathroom.
just like that his eyes gave out and he slipped into sleep.

seokjin descended from the top floor, his long grey cashmere robe almost dragging on the floor.
the man looked flawless as ever even after a hectic day; just as he reached the common hall, the laughter and cling of glasses died down and people stood up out of respect- multiple "hyungnim" chorusing through.

there was never any hesitance in that matter, even men twice seokjins age would stand up and bow a ninety.
with a flick of the carefully manicured fingers, seokjin acknowledged them- everyone resuming their activities as seokjin took a seat on one of the table.
a drink, pleasantly red was placed infront him by one of the waitress of the hall- her constant flirtatiousness nowhere near the head of jopok.
seokjin scanned around the room his usual way- just spotting the familiar faces; his eyes stuck by hoseok and yoongi practically sucking each others face- the couples nicknamed the lovebirds among them.
his attention diverted when the chair adjacent to him scrapped and a burly man sat on it.
the man was obviously tipsy nevertheless seokjin gave his attention.
"them lower leeches seems to settle down for now, hyungnim. no more complaints on lack of weapons." the man laughed, almost his entire form jiggling with it.
"the kims always knew their guns well" he flashed his yellowing teeth.
"hm thats pleasant to hear, kang" seokjin said as he sipped on his drink.
"but never trust them kims-- those cunnin' bitches" kang fisted his hand glaring at a random spot on the table.
"such a pity, sir. young jeon have to bare with one of those sluts" the man added.
seokjin didnt show any response, just nursing his drink instead.
"hyungnim-" the man scooted his chair closer.
"my ayami is coming back to seoul this year after her studies, such an intelligent girl i must say" the man says proudly.
"ayami would make such a perfect omega for sir. young jeon, unlike that-- slut he got tied with"
"-m really?" seokjin replied, clearly disinterested, but kang perks up at the response.
"i'm sure she doesn't care about the child-- that thing tainted with kim blood will sure be an abomination anyway" the man spitted out.
"kang, you worry too much" seokjin drawls.
"how can i not, hyungnim. i have been here since your father" kang preens.
seokjin can see right through the drunken blabbering.
Strike while iron is hot. seokjin himself has done it a multitude of times.
"right. kook-ah can take care of himself very well, kang. you don't have to fuss on it" seokjin gives a sickly sweet smile to kang's way and he stands up, then walking away.
seokjin stops right infront of the couples in the room, both diverting their attention to him quickly.
"have you taken care of the media, hobi?" seokjin asks, almost fondly.
"its all taken care of, hyungnim" hoseok says his usual chirpy way, thumbs up, even yoongi next to the alpha smiles fond.
seokjin hums.
"have a great night, you two" seokjin dismisses and just like that he leaves the room to the calmess of his floor.

jimin's hands shook were the article was clicked open on his phone.
his eyes pierced onto the pic attached below- his friend and the said ceo, seemingly like a shot in the middle of the dance.

and jimin was determined to get answers.
the omega fished out a tshirt and jeans from the mess in the apartment and put a bucket hat over his orange mop of hair.
