"I'm sorry I just really needed to clear my mind, I didn't know you guys would be so worried." Holly said.

She looked same, just a bit exhausted. I was worried sick about this girl. I know I caused this incident to happen and guilt was eating me up inside.

"Holly are you stupid? We were so damn worried!" Gill roared and Luke rubbed her back, trying to calm her down.

As Luke tried to calm Gillian down, my mind started drifting off to our sudden first kiss.

The kiss. It was the best thing ever. I have never felt that way before. Like electricity is running through my blood. As if I'm in heaven and I don't give a crap about anything going on in the world.

He like me too, which is the best thing ever. I never thought he'd like me back.

"I'm sorry. I just- I really like you Miley. And when you said you didn't want me, you broke me." Holly said, sniffling.

"I'm sorry Holly. But it's the truth. I couldn't say that okay Holly I love you too. That would be even worse, and you will find someone much better than me Holly." I said.

"Why didn't you Tell me that you were . .?" Gill began. Her voice had calmed down than before but the hurt was clearly laced in her voice.

"Mom I know you're a homophobe."

"Not for you honey! You're my daughter, I love you. Sure I don't like the idea and sure I think it's weird but that doesn't mean I'll disown you, you'll be my daughter always. It'll take time for me to adjust to it but Holly, you're my gem. You and Polly both." Gill Said.

Gill was really an amazing person. I'm feeling really guilty for stealing Luke away, currently.

And what the hell will I even tell Holly? That you like me and so does your dad? This is so messed up.

Holly let out a sob before she hugged her mother tightly.

"I should go now. I'll see everyone soon. Holly, be safe please." I Said and started walking away.

"I'll escort you," Luke said and followed behind me, his hand on my waist.

"You don't have to." I Said.

"Princess, I just kissed you. It would be really rude of me not clear the air after that. I'll drop you home ....it's anyways unsafe to take a cab at night." He said as we walked out the doors, cool air hitting me.

I blushed.

We really did kiss. And it was better than I imagined it to be.

"There's something I should tell you - I've had a crush on you since the first time I saw you." I admitted, my cheeks going red.

He just laughed and pulled me closer to him and patted my head like I was his pet. It was cute.

We sat in his car as he drove.

"I've liked you since many days too Miley. You just didn't understand. You are so beautiful. That's why I call you a little girl, because you didn't even understand all the hints I dropped."

I smiled to myself.

"Can I ask you something Miles? But you promise to answer to honestly." He said as he glanced at me trying to read my face.

"Yeah... go ahead."

"That day — when we went to the party, why did you get drunk? I know it was not like you to do so."

I felt a blush creep up on my cheeks. What am I supposed to say? I was jealous?

But I should be truthful right? I should tell him everything. He'll not feel bad will he?

"Okay — I'll be honest with you. When I saw you and Gillian fighting and then you guys were suddenly walking somewhere I decided to follow you. I know it was wrong of me to do so... then I went up to the room you were in and um.... I heard you guys having sex... and I felt really jealous and angry because literally a minute ago we were dancing together. So that's why I decided to be reckless." I said in one go, facing the window. I am too embarrassed at this point.

"I'm sorry princess. I-I didn't know what else to do that time. She accused me of being too close to you so I just wanted to show her that I still love her very much..."

"It's okay Luke, I get it. She is your wife. It's not my business whether you make love or not."

Luke sighed loudly and I finally looked at him.

"Not anymore. I'm yours now miley. Yours. You're mine."

He took my hand the intertwined with his and I almost felt my whole world was with me right now. He's so understanding.

"About Holly." I began, trying to change the topic.

"Miley, you don't have to feel bad. And as per the situation right now, we can't tell anyone about us. This has to be a secret princess." Luke said looking at me for a second.

"You're right, but how long luke?" I Said.

"I don't know Miles, maybe until I gain enough confidence to stand up to Holly and Gill and stand next to you."

I stumbled in my house, finding mom sitting on the couch her head in her hands.

"Mom werent you supposed to be gone for two days?" I asked her.

"They... they kicked me out. They f.ucking fired me." She growled.

"Why... why would they do that?" I asked, sitting on the opposite couch.

"Well because they caught me high during the meeting. But I don't care f.uck them." She grumbled and when she moved her head I saw that even now, she was sniffing a powder.

Oh my mother, when will you learn?

"Mom how will we get money?" I said, my mind going crazy.

"I have enough money for myself, you need to worry about yourself." She said snarkily raising a brow at me.

"Mom I'm your daughter!" I yelled, my voice going higher and I instantly regretted it.

She picked up the vase on the table and threw it against the wall so it broke into pieces.

"No you're not you filthy girl! You should be happy I'm letting you live here. Wanna eatfood? Earn your own money by being a whore or something. Don't ask me for shit. You were unwanted the day your dad left you." She yelled and tears formed in my eyes.

"Mother! I am your daughter! Your blood, how can you be drunk all the time and not give a Shit about me?" I Said; tears flowing down my face.

She raised her hand and brought it down and I felt a stinging sensation on my my cheek and then I realised she had just slapped me.

"Get away ." She ordered and without saying anything I ran out of the living room and to my room before I shut the door behind me.

I wiped my tears and opened up my school notebooks to focus on my homework, forgetting this ever happened.
