I stared at the cat. "Cats can talk in the human world?" I asked.
"No, but I can." the cat said and walked towards me. "Who're you?" he asked.
".... dad said never talk to strangers... but is a kitty a stranger?" I wondered crouching down and pet the cat smiling at how soft the fur was.
"Are you gonna answer?" he asked.
"Um, my name is Kuchiki (Y/n)." I smiled at the cat.
"Kuchiki?" he asked and I nodded.
"What about you?" I asked.
"I'm Yoruichi." he said.
"Nice to meet you!" I smiled and sat on the ground and reached out and carried him in my arms making him squirm but then he stopped moving, relaxing in my arms.
"Do you have someplace to stay?" he asked me.
"I was going to sleep outside, and look for a home tomorrow morning." I said smiling.
"Let me down and follow me. I'll show you where you can stay." he said and I nodded and put Yoruichi down and he ran off and I followed after him.
I followed him all the way to an old looking shack thing. "Urahara's shop?" I read the words on the roof.
The door then opened and a very very tall man wearing shades was looking down at me. He seemed to look at my zanpakuto and I was slightly scared. He slowly reached forwards towards me and I sniffled and cried. "Tessai, whats going on?" I saw a shorter man behind him wearing clogs and a weirdly colored hat. I ran to him and hid behind him crying.
"He's scary!" I whined and I felt all eyes on me.
"Who's this?" the man I was hiding behind asked.

"Kuchiki (Y/n)." Yoruichi answered for me.
"Kuchiki? I see." the guy said.
"My name is Urahara Kisuke. Why are you in the real world, Kuchiki-san?" Urahara asked.
I explained it to him at the best of my ability. "Well, I guess we should be getting you a Gigai." he said and motioned me to follow him. He showed me a gigai and told me how to enter it and I nodded.
I suddenly felt heavy, and stiff. I slowly sat up, "This feels weird." I whined.
"You'll get used to it." Urahara said smiling at me.
"How long are you staying in the real world?" the scary guy asked me.
"... I don't know.." I mumbled.
"Why don't you get some sleep? It's late. We can talk more in the morning." Yoruichi said and I sniffled and nodded. I followed Yoruichi to a spare room and got comfortable in the bed. I saw Yoruichi about to leave, but I reached out and put my hand on his tail making him turn to me and I moved my hand.
"Can you stay with me, until I fall asleep?" I asked and he sighed but nodded.
~Yoruichi's pov~
(Y/n) finally fell asleep and I left her room and found Kisuke who seemed to be thinking.
"To think Byakuya had a kid. So much time has passed." I said sitting down on the wooden porch.
"Yes, she appears around 7 years old." Kisuke said.
"Will you be helping in her training?" I asked him.
"She is still a child, and has a Zanpakuto already.. It's impressive." Kisuke said.
"Well, starting tomorrow, I'll offer to train her. If she accepts or not is up to her. But she is free to stay here however long she likes" Urahara said looking back to the room where (Y/n) was sleeping in.

"I have to get going. Take care of Byakuya's kid Kisuke." I said before jumping out a window.
I woke up from the light streaming in through my windows. I opened my eyes to the unfamiliar ceiling and sat up and looked around and remembered where I was. I got up and stretched my body. It was getting a bit more comfortable in this gigai. I slid the door open and saw the scary man had a plate of food. "Kuchiki-san, here's your breakfast" he said and lay it in front of me.
He was about to leave until I stopped him. "S-sorry for being scared of you last night... It was rude of me." I mumbled and he seemed to smile and say it was okay.
I saw Urahara and he smiled at me, "Good Morning Kuchiki-san!" he said and walked towards me.
"You guys can call me (Y/n)." I said to them smiling.
"Well, (Y/n)-san, I've decided to help you train and control your reiatsu. I will teach you everything you could learn at the Shinigami academy here. That is, if you'd like me to." Urahara said.
"Really?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yoruichi will probably also assist you as well." he said and I nodded.
I got on my knees and bowed low putting my hands on the ground and bowed my head until it touched my hands. "Thank you for going through the trouble! I will not disappoint you!" I said smiling at them.
"Please, stand up." Urahara said and I nodded smiling.
"I'll eat, and then we can start. Oh, and I'll help cleaning and stuff so I am not just taking advantage of you guys." I said smiling and went to my room to eat my breakfast, which tasted like heaven.
"The food tastes amazing!" I smiled and put the empty plates in the sink.
"Why thank you." the tall man, whose name I learned was Tessai, smiled at me and I smiled in return and followed Kisuke down to an underground basement to begin training. He gave me a pill and I felt like I was being pulled out and turned and saw my gigai and it was moving, without me in it.
"Woah...." I stared at my gigai and my gigai stared back at me. She then smiled and walked away and sat near the entrance.
"Let's start on kido." Urahara said and the lessons began....

A guy reincarnated as a sloth and is too lazy to be a protagonist
Hey, so do you also love a Story about people getting isekai’d into another world into a body of a monster that can evolve? Yea, sucks that most of them are either Harems (honestly, at first I was like "weird flex but okay", but now every fucking story that looks like it could go somewhere just throws the MC a new love interest every 3 chapters or so), or idiots that trust the first human they see to not kill them. Also, is it just me, or do most of them evolve into a human-ish Form way too fast? I mean what is the point of a monster MC if the guy is practically just an overpowered human? Well, after like about 3 years I am kinda running out of good stories, so I'm gonna try to make one myself. It's probably gonna be pretty bad to be honest, but it has no harem so it is already better than 3/4 of novels out there. And I haven't even started yet! But to be serious now: The story is about a pretty lazy guy who reincarnates as a sloth....I haven't really planned more for now... well, good luck to me I guess. Also I am not sure if I want this to have blue screens yet... I mean they look pretty neat but personally I'm kind of sick of them. PS: If you wondered, no I am not the person that took the photo of a sloth with sunglasses...god, that dude must be living the Life...
