Marinette sighed. She had to call Peter. If she didn't he'd stay up all night, and that is never a good idea.
A few years back, Marinette had gone to Orscorp with her best friend, Peter Parker, during that field trip Marinette had gotten bitten by a radioactive ladybug, and became a hero, and she and Spiderman were usually seen together. Scarletbug and Spiderman.
After a while, they started dating, then a few moths later, Marinette had been sucked into an alternate universe, yet somehow, she was still able to contact Peter.
"Marinette! I've been meaning to call you!" Peter said when he picked up, "I'm done with the machine, it'll be ready to use tomorrow." Marinette grinned, then remembered why she'd called him.
"Peter darling, when was the last time you slept? How much sleep did you get?" she called to him the moment he stopped talking. ". . . . shit. I got 9 hours!" Marinette groaned, and said,
"How long ago?" she heard him sigh, "a week ago." Marinette smacked her head. "Peter! You need sleep!! he just said,
"Fuck this. Who needs sleep anyway??" Marinette sighed.
"Please Peter. You're almost done, you can take a break. Just go to sleep!" Peter growled. "but love-" before he could even finish, Marinette interrupted him,
"Peter Benjamin Parker! If you don't go to sleep, I will knock you out, AND you won't be able to Spiderman!!" Peter chuckled. "Come on, love, did you really think telling me you would take away Spiderman would stop me?"
"Fine. No hugs. Or kisses. Or ANY kind of baked goods." she heard the fear in his voice the next time he spoke. "I'm sorry love! I'll go to sleep now!!" and she smirked.
"You better. I'll see you tomorrow my little spiderling" Then Peter said "Alright. I love you my bug." Then she hung up.

Then, Mari said, "Gah! I hate this damn multiverse!!!" and that caused Alya to fall over, effectively alerting her of their presence.
"Marinette??" Adrien called to her, she turned, and frowned. "Adrien, Alya, Nino." they winced at her icy tone. "Dudette, you ok?" Nino asked, and Marinette smiled softly.
"Yeah. I'm fine. I'm going home to my fiancé tomorrow." the gang gasped. Alya was the first who dared ask the next question, "but, you've lived in Paris your whole life!" Adrien stuttered
"F-f-fiancé? You're engaged?" Marinette grinned. "No, Alya, I haven't. I was born in Queens New York, and I lived there for 15 years of my life. I've been engaged to the love of my life for as long as you've known me." There was a soft silence as the rest of the gang considered this.
Suddenly Alya realized something. "Wait- Mari? There isn't a city named Queens in New York." Marinette grinned. "Here? Hell no. I'm from another fucking universe. I accidentally came to this pile of shit 4 years ago."
"Marinette! Language!" Adrien yelled said girl just fliped him off. Nino looked up. "Mare-bear I'm sad that you have to go, but happy that you'll be going home." Marinette smiled at them. "I love you guys." then she looked down, and said "If anyone askes, I moved to NYC. ok? Please?" the other three nodded.
