《Marinette One-Shots》DONE BEING A PUPPET

Martha was raised in the Red Room, and she and her best friend Imagak escaped at the same time, they were sent on a mission, and tragically 'died'. They then went to Paris. Imagak changed her name to Kagami and was adopted by the Tsurugi's a famous family of fencers. Martha changed her name to Marinette and was adopted by the Dupain-Chengs.
Neither girl knew what had happened to the other, since they had split up, and nether girl bothered to check on exactly who had adopted their bestie, figuring that they would meet up again, as that was just their luck.
And it was just their luck. Adrien introduced them a few years after they'd split up, and it was. . entertaining.
"Marinette, this is my friend Kagami." Adrien said, but both girls had kinda tuned him out. They just stood there for a second, staring, when Kagami drew her blade and charged at Marinette. Marinette wiped out a dagger and fought back, *I can't write fight scenes* it ended with Marinette's blade to Kagami's throat, and Adrien standing there trying to figure out why Kagami just tried to kill Marinette,
Marinette removed her blade from Kagami's throat and stepped back with a smile. "It seems you've lost your edge Imagak. You've gone soft." Kagami laughed. "You're one to speak, that was not as hard as it once one Martha." both girls laughed and gave ach other a hug. Adrien finally worked up the nerve to talk.
"Kagami?! Why's you try to kill Marinette?! Marinette, you can fight?!!!" both girls turned to him, and giggled, realizing their mistake. Marinette hurriedly came up with a cover. "It's an ancient form, or a sort of test. I approve of Kagami. She fought well." Kagami smiled slightly.
"As I approve you, Marinette. Adrien, would you like to try?" Adrien paled. "N-no thanks. I- I'll leave the fighting to the women in my life, they're rather good at it."

Not long after the girls were re-united, someone came for them.
Kagami, Luka, and the Akuma class were out at the park, when a sleek black limo drove up, and out stepped a tall, and powerful looking woman, the others were confused when Marinette and Kagami stepped forwards.
The woman gave a cruel smile,
"Martha, Imagak. It has been a long time." the girls growled "Not long enough." at the same time, and the woman's smiled scared everyone else.
"Now, now. Martha, Imagak, is that how you speak to your mistress?" both girls paled, but Marinette stepped forward, and Kagami stepped behind her, almost as if to use her as a shield. "I'm not Martha anymore. Imagak and I left that life behind. We will no longer be puppets for your pleasing." the woman gave a mock pout.
"But Martha, we mourned you." Marinette stormed forwards. "Guess what? I don't give a damn. I'm DONE killing for you. Go to hell Mistress." Marinette whirled, and grabbed Kagami's wrist and pulled her back to their friends.
After the woman left, the girls visibly relaxed, and the others began to question them.
"Martha? Imagak? What? Who was she? Who are you?!" the girls looked at each other and smiled sadly.
"Kagami and I grew up together, we were both adopted after our mother died. Or rather, our mother died, and we ran, we ran until we figured we'd be safe, at least for a few years. Once we arrived in Paris, we were both adopted. We changed our names and became comfortable." Marinette glanced at Kagami, and she continued where Marinette left off.
"Too comfortable. We should've moved on, there was never any way we could have escaped them forever, but, we foolishly thought the explosion would make them think we were dead longer. We were wrong. And it's time to move on." the others looked at the girls, obviously still confused. The girls stood up in unison, and turned and ran.
Moving from place to place, never staying in one place to long, never keeping a name for long either. The girls stayed away, and their friends in Paris gave up on finding them.
