Daisy's Pov

When we arrived at the venue, reporter's were lined at the entrance, clicking photos of all the people arriving at the venue. I walked out of the car linking my arm with Micah's. The blinding lights from flashlights fluttered all over. We walked into the hall where the ball was being held hand in hand.

The hall was brightly lit with people scattered, all the business tycoon's were attending this ball. After all it was the 100th year anniversary of Agnor's corporation. Men were dressed in expensive tuxedo's and women were a whole different case with beautiful gowns.

Expensive...that's what the whole place gave the feeling of.

As soon as we walked in all the eyes turned towards us, the young talent of Williams and the only only heir of Agnor's were together. I had already expected this outcome when I decided to come with Micah.

Who hooked up with whom? Is the best gossip in any industry, be it entertainment or business. People don't care what goes on in their own home's but they want to know everything about others.

Judgemental society....

" See, isn't being my date good, I am a brand." Micah shamelessly boasted beside my ear.

I smiled and whispered back," They are probably wondering how come a psycho like you managed to bring a queen like me"

He held his heart and leaned down towards my face whispering back with a smile," Do you wan't to know how much of a psycho I can be? You will know in a short while."

" What? Don't you dare do anything weird" I threatened keeping a smile on my face." Please don't embarrass me"

" Don't worry, you will enjoy the show my dear. And you will be the one who will enjoy the most" he said dragging me towards a couple.

The couple looked at us as soon as we walked in front of them, the lady look elegant and soft dressed in knee length gown. The man standing beside her was around his 50's and looked like a mature version of Micah. Now I get to know where his amazing looks come from. If you have beautiful parents you turned out to become beautiful as well.

" Mom, dad " Micah greeted with a slight smile," This is Daisy.."

" Your girlfriend" his mom cheerfully said interrupting him.

" Umm...No Mrs. Agnor, I am his friend" I replied politely with a smile.

I don't want extra baggage. It's okay if my family and some of friends know about it, but if it gets spread, how am I going to face people if they knew I am dating a psycho.

Too risky..too risky..

" Yep, she is a friend." Micah said.

" I have heard a lot about you Miss Williams. You are more beautiful in person" Micah's dad said nodding at me.

Why do I get a dejavu?

" It's too nice of you Mr.Agnor. Daisy can do." I replied.

" Hey, you did not let me call you Daisy at the first meeting." Micah said widening his eyes at me," You are being partial"

His parent's shook their head at him probably immune to his childish act.

I mentally rolled my eyes at him, I can't insult him in front of his parent's, right?

Just as I was going to reply I heard a commotion near the entrance.

" Look who's here?" Micah pointed towards the direction.

I looked towards the entrance, a familiar figure came into sight but what surprised me more was that he wasn't alone. Like Micah said Ethan was walking with a woman by his side.

Not bad, another blonde.

" That's Suzzane Brown" Micah commented.

What is Brown in her? She totally white from top to bottom. Psst...

She has blonde hair, grey eyes and nearly as tall as me. But her figure is not as good as mine. So much for appreciating her...blind people..

I watched them, as they walked towards Mr. and Mrs. Agnor. Ethan was a in a little too good mood, he was smiling a lot speaking to whitey. Good, very good.

Damn it...

" Hey do you want to break that glass?" Micah suddenly spoke breaking my line of thoughts.

I looked towards confused," Huh?"

He smirked," You are holding the glass so tight that you knuckles have turned white"

I looked at the glass of wine in my hand to find that my knuckles really had turned white due to the tight grip on it.

What is happening to me?

I took a deep breathe to put my shit together.

But I really want to hit someone...

If I hit Ethan, will it be considered as dog abuse?

No ..I need to calm down. Relax, relax...

" Are you jeaous?" Micah teased with his a cocky smirk.

" Shut up" I drank the wine in one single gulp.

He straightened up a little," Come on, let's go and meet them."

I shook my head," I am not coming, and you are not going too"

I really won't be able to control myself from hitting Ethan if I go near him.

" We are going" he pulled me with him. I followed cursing under my breath.

Why did I even agree to come here?

We walked towards them, Ethan and whitey were talking about something probably he said something to make her laugh.

Oh he can even crack jokes.....

" Hello, I am glad you made it, Ethan" Micah said.

Wait, when did they come on first name basis? Did I miss something?

Ethan nodded towards him, and didn't even glance at me.

Am I invisible or something? This dog is really regarding himself too highly, huh? If only I could hit him, or insult him...

" Hi, you must be Daisy, right?" whitey, I mean Suzzane looked at me.

Are we friends? Why are you calling me by my name?

" Yes, And you are?" I asked giving a polite smile.

She smiled back," Suzzane Brown, Ethan's date. I have heard a lot about you"

Did I ask whose date are you? I can see it , okay.

" I hope all good things, though"

" Yep, don't worry about it." she glanced at Ethan and then at me." You are really beautiful in person"

I know...

I smiled," So do you Miss.Brown"

" Oh please Suzanne can do" she said smiling at me.

Why do I feel like she is testing me? Is she trying to check whether I am love rival or something? Like I will ever fall for that dog?
