I groaned burying my head into my pillow, my phone continued to ring. I felt a weight pressing on me making me unable to move. I tried to push off the weight but it did not budge.

I cursed under by breathe and moved my hand towards the night stand to look for my phone without opening my eyes.

" This better be important." I barked.

" Boss, it's an emergency." ALice' sounded anxious, " You need to come to the company right now."

" What is it?" I sat straight up pushing the weight off me with force. I heard a thump sound of something falling.

" Ah.......ahh...." the weight which I pushed off shouted falling on the ground beside my bed," Fuck...who the hell pushed me?"

Wait, why does it sound like Jenna?

I whipped my head to my left and widened my eyes," What are you doing on the ground?"

" You ...you were the one who shoved me off the bed." Jenna glared standing up while rubbing her waist. Her red hair were mess and she was wearing my yellow night suit.

I almost forgot that they all stayed at our place last night because it was late. Ethan, Ian and Alex were in other guest room while I am Jenna decided to sleep in master bedroom.

" Boss, are you there? You need to come to the company" I heard Alice say through the phone.

" What's wrong?" I walked into the bathroom ignoring Jenna who was glaring at me.

" The biggest shareholder of california project decided to withdraw the investment at last moment. Other shareholders invovled in the project are creating chaos in the company, Mr.Williams is trying to handle but they are not adamant to withdraw the investment and asking the company to make up to their loss. "

The California project is the project which I introduced in this world- this project was designed by me in Knight corporation's. This project was huge success later on. 

" I will be there in 15" I said dressing up and walking out of the room. 

If I am not wrong then the same problem was faced by the company in my last world as well, the biggest shareholder decided to ditch the company bringing emmense losses to the company just as the company was going to decide to close the project, out of no where some other company decided to invest into it.

I had wanted to meet the investor but they only send their representative for signing the contract and as well as the details were shared through the representative. There are many things from the real world which I don't remember, I wonder what is the reason for this.

Only some details like my parents cheating, me being depressed in the last year of university and pulling away from everyone are the memories which are quite vague in my memories. I remember having some same friends from childhood to university, but I don't remember their names, appearances and whatsoever. 

If I'm not wrong then the investor for the project was someone I knew that was what dad told me.

After university I lost contact or we can say I isolated myself from my childhood friends and parents- work was my only salvation. Maybe if I would have tried to contact them then I might not have been so alone. Or if I had not been so bitch then I might have had some real friends but whats done is done, I can't change it now.

" Good morning...are you going to the company so early?" Jenna asked from the breakfast table. Alex, Jenna and Ian looked at me.

" I heard about the California project crises, how are you planning to sort it out?" Ian asked, it didn't surprise me that he knew about it.

 " I need to check the situations first." I replied ," You guys continue I won't join you. Where is Ethan?"

" He was gone even before we were awake." Alex shrugged stuffing his mouth," If you need any help in hitting some investors don't forget to call me."

" Then I'll count on you." I winked walking out of the house with my car keys.

" Thank god you are here. " Alice said as soon as I walked into my office.

" What is the reason for withdrawal?" I asked her.

" According to them- the project is bound to be a failure. Mr.Miller says he doesn't wants to be a part of failing project. That baldy has always created trouble for company, he thinks just because he is shareholder he can say anything he wants, last time he even opposed you being the part of this project. " Alice angrily said.

Mr.Miller is a cheap man, he thinks that women are beneath men and should not be given the chance to run the company according to him women should not even set foot into the company. 

" I think it's time to do some cleaning" I coldly smiled holding a file in my hand.

" Are you sure about it? It might create lot of trouble" Alice seriously said eying the folder in my hand.

" He is courting death it's not my fault" I shrugged shaking my head," Arrange a meeting in half an hour."

" Okay, this is going to be fun." Alice gave a smile and walked away.

" Mr.Miller....." I clicked my tongue looking at the folder in my hand and walked towards the conference room.

I looked at all the shareholders as they fought among themselves, some were talking against the company and some from the company remaining were just watching the show like me. I was beside dad who was sitting at the middle of conference room, dad looked calm and composed like all the people fighting in the room were performing a show.

I looked at Mr. Peter Miller- he was a bald man with a pot belly looking disgusting, the most hideous thing about him is his pair of those greedy eyes. Noticing my gaze he looked at me and smirked.

" It's not a big deal, the company forge this small losses. We don't need to worry about it, right Miss.Williams?" Peter Miller smiled at me, his eyes were checking me out. I resisted the urge to gauge his eyes out.

" What losses are you exactly reffering to Mr.Miller?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

" The loss which all the shareholders and investors are going to suffer due to this project ." he eyed me and licked his lips," If you can't afford the losses then I am willing to help, you just need to ask Daisy, I won't say no to you."

I felt dad stiffen beside me loosing his calm, just as he was about to say something I interrupted," Miss.Williams, it's Miss.Williams to you and I didn't reckon you to be such a magnamious person Mr.Miller. "

" You would like to know more about me Miss.Williams?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

" I dare not Mr.Miller, what would your wife and model girlfriend think about it?" I smirked when his smile dropped from his face," Oops! How can I call her your girlfriend afterall she is your mistress. My bad."

Whole conference room plunged into dead silence, some faces were astonished while others were happy, this Mr.Miller have created a lot of trouble in the company for years.

" Mind your language Daisy Williams, you have no right to slander me, I can sue you for accusing me wrongly." Peter Miller stood up from his chair and hollered, his belly shaking with his movements and face scrunched up disgustingly.

" Go ahead Mr.Miller and sue me" I leaned into my chair," I would like to see who would be the one behind the bars in the end."

" You...what do you mean?" he seethed glaring at me," Mr.Williams I advise you to stop your daughter making false accusations', or else I...."

" Alice, hand over the folders to everyone." I informed, she nodded and placed copies to everyone sitting in the room and stood behind me after handing them.

Everyone opened the files and skimmed through the pages, their faces turning from confused to horrified and then angry. The file contain all the illegal work which was conspired by Peter miller, he sold some of the company secrets and embezzled the company funds leading to huge losses to the company.

This information was send to me, I already had my doubts but before I could enquire about it all the information was mailed to me by a anonymous person, may be he/she had a presonal grudge against Peter Miller or so.

"This...this is lie. This bitch is trying to frame me." Peter Miller shouted shaking his head and glaring at me," You bitch.... how dare you frame me"

" If you utter another word about my daughter, I will make sure you won't see light in future.." Dad coldy said, his voice commanding making him shut his mouth instantly.

" Not only this, the sudden withdrawal of investment in California project was also due to Mr.Miller's goodwill." I added.

" What?" dad looked at me in disbelieve.

" Yes, he persuaded the investor that the project won't be a success and told him to withdraw the investment. He wanted to bring losses to the company, too bad he didn't succed though." I shook my head at Peter Miller, who was now murderously glaring at me, maybe thinking of ways to kill me.

" Call the cops." Dad ordered his assistant who instantly dialed the number.

" You can't do that, she is lying. Even if you remove me you won't be able to complete this project without any investor." Peter Miller laughed menacingly.

" You don't worry about us, please take care in the cell." I smiled," You will need all the good wishes."

" You bitch... I won't leave you." he charged towards me, everyone widened their eyes in horror as Peter Miller ran towards me. He shoved everyone in his way and came towards where I was sitting beside dad.

I sat calmly as he approached just as he was going to put his hands on me, I kicked him the knee making him land on the floor howling like a dying pig. If I don't know this much self defence then what is use of living?

" The next time it won't be a kick in you knee." I looked coldly at him and moved my chair away from where he was kneeling in disgust.

" You are so sickening that even breathing the same air as you makes my sking crawl in disgust. You should crawl back to dirty hole where you came from, do not spread your dirt in my company." I gritted out.

" You bitch, you are the one who is disgusting. You just watch out I won't let you off." he tried to stand up but due to the pain in his knee.

" Take him away." dad ordered when the security came in. Mr.Miller protested and cursed at me when he was being dragged out of the room. After he was taken away everyone fell silent and deep in thought.

" About the project, where do we find new investors?" one of the shareholder asked.

" It would be very hard to find one in such a short notice." another said conflicted.

Dad sighed," I think we need to put the project on hold for some.."

" No need." a muscular, smooth and familiar voice interrupted from the doorways.
