《Vampire King》Chapter 44- Lost memories found

😏
"I'm a monster." He says as soon as the vision disappears, I look at him and he's looking down- his black hair covering his eyes. Reaching up I push his hair back and wrap my arms around his neck, now I'm straddling him. Don't worry, he's sitting down! I rest my head on his shoulder and shake it.
"No, you are not a monster, you shouldn't regret doing that. What else has he done, Tyler?" I frown, I want to know. I want him to know that he can tell me anything and trust me. I notice that everyone has disappeared to give us privacy which is good because this is something private that would be hard to say. His cheeks puff out and he slowly exhales, his arms go around me.
"Close your eyes and clear your mind, then I will show you," he whispers. I nod closing my eyes and letting all of the thoughts that are swarming around in my mind go away. And I think of the present.
I look around at my surroundings, I'm in a house. It's big. At the moment I'm in the lounge room, there are black sofas and red carpet with a television that is no longer a television; its smashed.
How can you do that hearing thing?
Taking a good guess I focus, making sure that nothing is covering my ears. I listen around until I hear talking, that mans voice. I run as fast as I can which I end up doing the really cool vampire speed running, I stop at a door and open it slowly not prepared for what I'm going to see behind these closed doors. I hold my breath as I see his father- I shouldn't even call him that. I'll call him the man because I don't know his name
'Henry' I hear Tyler's voice in my mind, knowing that he told me his name I silently thank him and look at what's happening.
"Why was I the one who had a killing machine as a son? You're simply a mistake, after one unprepared night you appeared weeks later in your mothers stomach. We were both so happy and in love. But when I found out what you were... you ruined our relationship, you ruined this family!" Henry roars, a knife flies out of his hand and it soars through the air. It pushes its way through Tyler's skin on his arm and he cries out in pain, he pulls it out yelping. Then he quickly presses his hand down on it, he looks at the monster of a man- a human with tear filled eyes. They hold so much pain and fear, not only pain from getting a knife stabbed into you but emotional pain. I want to stop his pain.

"Don't, please." Tyler whimpers as Henry stalks over to him, he picks up the bloodied knife from the floor and jams it into Tyler's thigh. He screams in pain and falls to the floor, I bring my hands up to my mouth and the tears fall. My poor Tyler having to deal with this much pain.
I hate the fact that he was so hurt all his childhood, I hate the fact that he technically lost his innocence and view on life at a young age. He would have woke up in the morning dreading the day, not knowing what's to come. He would have thought that life would always be this unfair. Of course it is unfair but Tyler would have thought he would have to deal with this for the rest of his long life.
"You ruined this family, Tyler. You realise that right? But you know what the best thing is? I can hurt you again and again and again and you will keep healing, so no one will suspect a thing. And I'm going to keep hurting you because you should know how disappointed I am to have you as a son."
"STOP!" Tyler screams and screams. I close my eyes, I don't want to see this anymore.
"TYLER PLEASE! I can't watch this anymore," I whimper keeping my eyes screwed shut. The screams and yelling disappears and I can feel the warm embrace of Tyler, he's running his hand up and down my back soothing me. I'm crying? No. He should be the one that's crying after everything he's been through.
"It's okay to cry little one," he whispers, so he still reads my thoughts. I guess that sometimes it's a good thing, so I won't really have to tell him how I'm feeling out loud. "But I want you to say it out loud," he mumbles. His chin is against my head, I open my eyes and he pulls his head black as I look at him.
"I'm so sorry you had to deal with that Tyler, I'm so so sorry. And as a young child!" I exclaim, he shakes his head. "He deserved it, don't you ever feel bad for killing him. He wouldn't of stopped if it weren't for you, you saved you and your mum," I cup his cheek, he leans into my hand.
"But he was my father."
"A father doesn't treat their child like that, he was not a father to you and he should never be called your father. But you know what we are gonna do? We are going to find your mum as soon as we can," I nod firmly.

"You lied Alejandro, my mum isn't where you said she is. Lucky, we still have your sister," I look at him in disbelief. Oh my god! No! Don't bring her into this.
He doesn't look at me but I know he heard what I thought, "YOU WHAT! YOU BASTARD!" Alejandro shouts and Tyler smirks clicking his fingers. Marcus barges through the door, tightly gripping onto Megan's wrist. Her face shows pain at his tight grip and I sigh, he looks at me and his serious face disappears and he grins. I swear he enjoys p*ssing me off. He said that he wouldn't talk to me but he obviously went against his own words. I guess that's good though, maybe one day we can look past each other's differences and accept that both our mates are our best friends. Sam is mine and Tyler is his.
He pushes Megan forward and stands next to me, he nods and I scream as he snaps my wrist. "WHAT THE HELL! You broke my wrist!" I scream, gosh it hurts. He smirks and twists my wrist and puts the home back in place. It doesn't hurt any more, I scowl at him. Tyler glares at Marcus and turns back to Alejandro, all of a sudden a god damn wooden paddle pop stick is stabbed into my leg. I Yelp and pull it out, it heals quickly and I clench my teeth together. "What exactly was snapping my wrist and shoving wood into my skin for?" Can't wood kill vampires?!
"Just making sure you're actually a vampire, so how's the cravings going?" He casually asks like we are talking about the weather.
"Well I haven exactly been near humans, I've been eating out of blood bags so I don't know. All I know is that when I get the taste of blood... I can't stop," I whisper. I don't want to kill anyone but being a vampire already makes me the number one predator.
"Well we will have to fix that problem," he grabs my wrist and yells to Tyler, "Shae and I are going to have a few lessons!" Tyler nods and Marcus drags me out. "Okay follow me, using your vampire speed," I nod and we both run using our vampire speed. He leads us to a park where teenagers and adults are and I shake my head.
"I don't want to kill teenagers or adults!" I hiss, he rolls his eyes and stands in front of an adult. I freeze and a pain in my head makes me grip it.
"REECE! What's wrong?"
"Some...someone's chasing me," he whispers. "The person jumped out of no where and attacked me, crap Shae I'm so s-scared."
Red eyes... brown hair... muscles... Marcus. Blood dripping from his mouth.
"You hurt my brother?"
"So delicious... and I want more." Marcus smirks
Slowly and tauntingly he brings his head down to my head. Tyler stops him...
"Forget this ever happened," Tyler whispers.
I gasp and Marcus looks at me, "I remember. You. You chased my brother and hurt him, then you tried eating me and Tyler stopped you. You tried killing me! You tried killing my brother!" I yell, he sheepishly scratches the back of his neck.
"I'm a vampire. Forget what you just heard," Tyler stares into my eyes.
"Forget."
"Forget."
"Forget."
"I remember everything. I found out Tyler was a vampire before but he made me forget, he was scared. Did you hate me that much that you tried killing me?" I gasp. But I can't hear him because a memory comes flooding back to me, an important one that I was compelled to forget.
I look at the necklace in his hand, the tears streaming down my face. "I don't want to leave you, but it's for the best. I'm something awful, I'm a monster and I could never change from the beginning. I don't want you to expect me to change when I was like this from the beginning. But to protect you I have to do this," he cups my cheek and wipes the tears away.
"No. It's okay, I will always accept you just don't leave me!"
"I love you. Always have, always will. Now, you will forget this conversation ever happened." Then he's gone in a flash and I'm staring at my necklace in confusion.
The necklace! It's filled with that vervain, oh my god. He didn't want to leave me after the hospital.
