《Taming the Rogue》Two Hundred

"How is your back feeling?" I asked Harlow as we laid in my bed, just enjoying each other's company. We had a rough day at school today because Harlow got into a fight with one of the male teachers because he was staring at me like I was his next meal which was making me incredibly uncomfortable since he was over thirty years older than me and he looked creepy, so in return Harlow kicked his ass till I pulled her off. No one else succeeded because she wants to know from me that she can stop and that she's done a good enough job. But her fighting worried me due to her back, which would be the reason why I'm asking.
"It's almost completely healed. It was just a bullet, and a little scrap today with a grandpa isn't going to hurt me any." Harlow shrugged with an egotistical smile.
"Let me know when I can mark it up with my own marks." I shot her a wink and she bit her lip in return.
"Soon. Maybe tomorrow." She smiled shyly.
"Not tomorrow. You have a football game tomorrow night and my family is coming to watch you kick ass. If you're good and you do a good job, I'll reward you." I licked my lips as the thoughts of the many ways I could mark up her beautiful skin. "My family will probably want to go out to eat with you afterwards to praise you and they will insist on paying no matter how loaded you are. I'd bring Tate so you don't feel outnumbered, because when you feel like that you get hostile and then I'll have to punish you." I smiled widely and innocently.
The only response I got was Harlow biting her bottom lip and avoiding eye contact, being submissive like it's her true nature; her intimidating lifestyle being a cover up.
"We haven't showered." I pointed out randomly.
"Do I stink?" Harlow mumbled into my neck as she curled up into me.
"No, but you still need a shower in case you got germs on you." I spoke in a stern tone. "I mean, you can help me cut back on the water bill by sharing a shower with me, but if you don't stink, I guess you don't need a shower." I smirked to myself as I crawled out of bed, leaving Harlow to herself.
"I want to shower with you." Harlow sat up on the bed and gave me her best puppy eyes.
"I'll have to think about it." I shrugged as I turned my back to her and got some pajamas out of the drawer that sat just under the window opposite of the bed.

Harlow simply whined in response and it made me chuckle.
"You're adorable." I giggled at her when I turned back around to see her with her shirt off and her pants off. "Is someone trying to tease me so I let them in the shower with me?" I raised a brow.
"Maybe..." Harlow mumbled and looked down at her lap with shame in her eyes.
I clicked my tongue and walked into the bathroom, but left the door open. Just to tease her, I got undressed where she could see me from her spot on the bed, which left her a whimpering mess.
I made sure to pull the shower door open slowly before stepping in, but purposely leaving it open. "You've got ten seconds before the door closes." I watched out of the corner of my eye as she took off her bra and underwear while she bolted to the shower, and closed the bathroom door behind her before locking it and then hopping into the shower with me. "That took eleven seconds." I teased.
"Do you have a stop watch?" Harlow raised a brow as she looked down at me.
"Is someone going to test me today?" I raised a brow.
"No ma'am." Harlow whispered and bowed her head submissively.
"Turn around." I smiled up at her.
Without hesitation, she turned around and I washed her back, being sure to rub out any tension in her back after cleaning her wound thoroughly, but gently.
"How good is she? No bias." My mom asked me as we sat down on the bleachers to watch Harlow play her football game. Madison and Dallas sat on my right side. Tate kept to himself as he sat directly behind me, watching over my family and I while watching his sister play.
"One being the worst and ten being the best. She's a two hundred." I gave my mom a serious look to show her I wasn't bullshitting.
"Okay, I'll let your dad be the judge of that." She smirked to herself.
"Fine," I shrugged and watched as my dad sat down beside my mom as he ate popcorn. Dallas stole the popcorn from dad over my shoulder and he grumbled a few inaudible words. At least I think they were words.
We watched the opening routine of the team running out onto the field and then the two team captains and coaches walking out to the center of the field to call the coin.
"The Dragons get the pick!" The ref yelled into his mic. No need to yell grandpa.
I watched Harlow speak for her coach.

"The Dragons will be receiving." The ref pointed to Harlow and her coach who were to his right.
Yeah, I saw that coming.
They all quickly got into position and Harlow was set up at the ten yard line in her territory.
The kicker raised his hand and his team followed him as he ran to the ball and punted it down the field before running off of the field.
I watched as Harlow tracked down the ball and easily caught it before scanning her surroundings to search for an opening.
When she saw them all coming at her and her team too scattered to help, she ran straight through them before jumping over one of them as they went to tackle her.
Her feet were a blur as she bolted down the field after easily weaving through the other team's defenders, and quickly earned the first six points.
"Damn," my dad mumbled as his jaw hung slack.
My mom was at a loss for words. Madison wasn't shocked at all. She knows Harlow and how good she is. She's probably seen her play a few times before too.
"Yeah, she's a two hundred." I smiled proudly, but still faced the field as Harlow set up for a two point conversion. They don't even try to hide it anymore.
Like expected, the quarterback gave the ball to Harlow as soon as she ran in front of him, so she could jump over the barrier of guys who were locked shoulder to shoulder.
The game was quickly turned to 8 to 0.
"How in the hell?" My dad watched as Harlow humbly hugged a few teammates and trotted to her coach with the rest of her team.
My family seemed shocked when she ran back out onto the field.
"What other position does she play?" My mom asked me as she stared out into the field.
"She guards the wide receiver. She has the most interceptions out of all high school players in the world." The proud smile didn't fade from my lips.
"Dinner on us champ!" My dad ruffled up Harlow's, already messy, helmet hair.
"Okay," Harlow chuckled.
"Do you always play that well?" Dallas asked Harlow as she walked beside me on our way out to our cars.
"Nah, Demi is just my good luck charm." Harlow shrugged with her million dollar smile.
"What am I? Chopped liver?" Tate asked in a fake hurt tone.
"No, you're my twin." Harlow nudged her brother and he nudged her back. "So you can't be chopped liver. That would be insulting myself."
"I love how that's the only reason why I'm not chopped liver." Tate laughed and I rolled my eyes as the two of them got into a playful scrap.
"Do they always do this?" My dad asked me as he unlocked his car that Madison, my mom, and him came here in. Dallas drove her own car. Tate ran here through the woods in wolf form and brought a bag with clothes to change into.
"Pretty much, but most of the time there is blood shed. This is purely play fighting." I shrugged.
"She better not lay a hand on you. Ever." My dad growled.
"Oh calm down. Harlow would rather break every bone in her body than lay a finger on me." I rolled my eyes. "We'll meet you at the pizza place down the road."
"Pizza?" Tate and Harlow both stopped fighting at the same time when they heard the magic word, pizza.
"Yes, pizza. Now let's go." I nodded towards my car, and the overly competitive twins raced to get into the car.
My mom laughed as the two of them fought for the front seat.
"Both of you! Since you can't act like you've got some sense, both of you are riding in the backseat!" I snapped at the two of them when Harlow went to bite Tate when he scratched her.
Both of them hung their heads in shame as they got into the car.
"Thank you." I smiled sarcastically. "I'll see you there." I waved to my parents and got into my car. "You two are trouble. No fighting in front of my parents, because people who aren't half wold don't bite as one of their main defenses. Not to mention have long as K9s while fighting." I snapped at the two of them as I looked in the mirror to see them both looking at their laps.
Harlow had blood rolling down her arm and Tate had a busted lip.
"Both of you clean yourselves up." I got the first aid kit out of the glove compartment before thoughtlessly tossing it in the backseat to them.
"Yes ma'am." Harlow bowed her head in shame.
"You of all people know better." I glared at her before pulling out of the parking lot.
I can punish Harlow and then she'll behave for awhile.
I can't do shit to Tate. I don't control him. I'll have to talk to Harlow.
