《Disco Madness (jjba5xreader)》[22] (Y/n)'s Safety Dance

Everyone seemed to be in the Christmas spirit as time went on and December slowly inched closer to Christmas.
The house was bustling with Christmas spirit as they got carried away on decorating the place head to toe in folderol. You didn't mind the holiday spirit, but you did mind the noise.
Giorno had made a Christmas tree out of the bookcase by the garage and decided to go ahead and cover the house in all sorts of festive greenery. Bucciarati and Ababcchio were moving boxes of decorations out of the garage as Narancia and Fugo took decorations out to hang around the house. Mista decided to take it upon himself to decorate the Christmas tree with lights and ornaments of all kinds.
You and Trish decided it was best if you both stayed out of the way and lounged around across the couch and lazily watch tv with face masks on. She insisted on having cucumbers on her eyes to help refresh them since she was disturbed from her beauty sleep an hour earlier than usual.
You indolently scanned the tv for some form of entertainment as Narancia and Fugo fussed in the background as Narancia stood on his tippy toes to reach the ceiling so he could hang a snowflake.
"It's not that hard, Narancia! Just stand on the table and reach the damn ceiling!" Fugo bossed the poor boy around while he held the stool for him. Narancia shot him a hard glare before thinking it would be funny to accidentally step on his hands.
Your attention was drawn away from the tv, from Fugo letting out a shout in pain before glaring rather harshly back at the snickering boy. "That's it!" He let go of the stool and Narancia instantly lost his balance and almost fell if it wasn't for his quick thinking to step onto the table.
Narancia let out a laugh in triumph before he reached up to tape the snowflake to the ceiling. "Wouldn't it just be easier if we had (Y/n) tape the snowflakes to the ceiling if we picked her up?" Narancia asked Fugo. They both looked at you silently as you turned your attention back to the tv like you saw nothing.
"Please, (Y/n)~!" Narancia begged as you shook your head, eyes still glued to the tv. "I'm busy watching-" You took a second to figure out what you were watching, "a documentary on dolphins...?" You sounded slightly confused at the end as you watched the documentary in silence.
You glanced over at the Christmas tree and grimaced at the mess of lights and ornaments that were slightly clumped together as Mista tried to untangle his foot from a jumble of Christmas lights that seem to not want to let go. You snickered as you watched him fall as Fugo and Narancia frowned at your response.
"You don't seem too interested in that documentary (Y/n). Just come help us so we can get this over with faster." Fugo commented, causing you to look away from Mista and his pleas for help as he got more tangled in the lights.
"This whole chaos of a holiday is enough entertainment to rival 10 dolphin documentaries!" You joked as Mista continued to yell for help in the background. "Plus," you motioned to your face then Trish, "I'm doing a face mask with Trish and relaxing." Fugo rolled his eyes and passed another snowflake to Narancia.
You watched as the boy tiptoed his way through the table as he tried not to step on plates or anything breakable that may shatter under his weight. You made a mental note to take up plates later and leave them in the sink for Mista to wash.

"Fugo! The lights are strangling me! Help!" Mista cried as he struggled in the bundle of lights that slowly consumed him. Fugo scoffed and walked over to Mista to help him get untangled, leaving Narancia to hang the snowflakes by himself.
Bucciarati and Abbacchio walked into the room from the garage with boxes in their hands as they placed them on the floor rather loudly. You looked back at Narancia and watched as he jumped from the loud noise and lost his balance.
He started waving his arms around wildly trying to regain his balance before he fell back and sent everything on the table flying into the air. You wince at the sound of the plates crashing to the ground as he laid on the table and groaned.
You slowly looked back at everyone and saw the pissed expressions on their faces as Fugo stopped what he was doing and snapped his head towards Narancia. "YOU HAD ONE JOB, NARANCIA! ONE!" He screamed as Bucciarati sighed and facepalmed at the situation. You slapped a hand over your mouth and tried not to laugh as Narancia apologized to Fugo profoundly.
Giorno poked his head downstairs with a Poinsettia in his hand. "What was that noise?" You pointed over at Narancia as he craned his head to the side and looked at the shattered ceramic plates all over the ground mixed with glass. "I- How?" He was baffled at the number of shattered dishes as he slowly went back upstairs to continue decorating everything.
You watched as Fugo dragged Narancia off the table by his ear before walking outside on the back porch to give him an earful. "Can someone clean that up please?" Bucciarati questioned as Mista finally slipped out from his colorful restraints. "Yeah. Give me a second..." Mista carefully sat the lights down before walking through the broken glass and ceramic with a crunch as he disappeared into the kitchen to grab a broom and pan.
Trish lifted the cumbers off her eyes and watched as Mista swept up everything quickly into the pan before dumping it into a trashcan. "Should we start helping? I feel like we're jinxing everything from just sitting around..." You hummed in response before taking the cloth face mask off your face and throwing it across the room to land in the trashcan. "Why not... You help Mista before he turns the Christmas tree into an equally bad fashion disaster as himself." She laughed in response as Mista whipped his head in your direction and scowled slightly.
"I don't look that bad!" He complained as he leaned on the broom and pouted. "If you keep leaning on the broom you're gonna fall and hit your face on the table." You ignored his comment and watched as he leaned more on the broom before it gave out on him and slipped. You laughed as he smacked his face on the table and groaned in pain as you and Trish started to crack up with laughter.
"We're definitely jinxing everything, I'll go help, Giorno." You stood up and made your way to the staircase as Trish went over to help Mista.
You poked your head up and got a small glance at all of the greenery that lined the railing and walls. You let out a low whistle as you reached the top and looked at all of the plants that took up the room. "Do you like them?" You looked at Giorno, who was adjusting a small vase of poinsettias on the bookcase by the piano.

"Yeah, but how the hell are you supposed to water these things?" You pulled at the leafy garland that spiraled around the railing at the top of the staircase. "That's easy, can give it life." You hummed in approval as his stand manifested and helped adjust the flowers in the vase as Giorno focused his attention on you.
"Want to help?" He questioned as he held an abundance of strips of paper, trash, and pieces of cardboard in his arms. "Sure, that's why I came up here." You shrugged as you took the scraps out of his arms and placed them down on the piano.
He took a wrapper and turned it into mistletoe before handing it to you. "Go find a place to put this." You hummed for a second before looking around upstairs and deciding it was best to find a place downstairs since Giorno seemed to have the upper part of the house covered in greenery.
You slid down the railing and almost hit Mista on the way down when you landed. "Don't slide on the damn railing!" Mista yelled as you poked your tongue out at him and scampered off to the kitchen doorway.
You grabbed the tape off the table that Narancia was using and tapped the piece of vegetation above the doorway. Now you had to make another mental note to never stand near the kitchen for the rest of Christmas... fun.
You scrunched up your nose at the sound of the sliding glass door being opened as Narancia and Fugo walked back in, Narancia seeming to be unhappy about being scolded by the latter. He perked up at the sight of you and flashed you a goofy grin before looking above the kitchen doorway to see the piece of mistletoe hanging there, harmlessly.
"Hey (Y/n), is that mistletoe?" He pointed at the small plant as everyone's head snapped in your direction as the eyeballed the plant, all of them having the same idea. "Yes, it's also going to be warding me off from the kitchen for the rest of the year." You loudly stated as you felt everyone's eyes burn into the back of your head.
You already gained a bit of distance from the cursed plant as Narancia looked at it in confusion. "Why? Are you allergic or something?" He poked the plant as Fugo sighed and shook his head in annoyance.
"Yes, I'm highly allergic, Narancia." You sarcastically replied as Narancia immediately stopped touching the plant with a look of shock. "REALLY?!" Fugo slapped that back of his head and cursed him for being stupid. "She's being sarcastic Narancia! It's because of the tradition that follows the plant!" Narancia hummed for a second before realizing why you already backed away from the plant.
"Ohhhhhh! But why are we hanging it now? We never hung it before." Fugo didn't seem to enjoy how dense Narancia was as you slowly walked away to go back to helping Giorno.
The blonde was busying himself with a wreath as he stuck pieces of holly into it. "Is that for the front door?" You sat on the couch next to him as continued handing him pieces of holly. "Yeah..." He seemed focused on his work as he adjusted pieces of the plant in the wreath.
He was actually very unfocused at the moment as you leaned towards him and looked at his project. He was fighting an eternal battle with himself as he fought to fight the blush that desperately wanted to creep onto his face like the annoying phantom it was. It didn't help that he could feel your body heat radiating off you as he stuck another piece of holly into the wreath.
You watched him carefully as he adjusted the small plants into the wreath before stopping and looking at it satisfied. You didn't realize you were in his personal space until your shoulder brushed against his, causing you to pull away suddenly in embarrassment. "Ah shit, sorry. I didn't realize I was invading your space." He waved off your apology and gave you a small smile and sat the wreath down in his lap. "It's alright. Can you go hang this on the front door for me?" He motioned to the wreath.
You nodded your head and carefully picked up Giorno's latest creation, scared you would break it if you weren't careful, and headed downstairs. You could hear Narancia and Fugo bickering again like siblings as Fugo explained to Narancia how he should hand the snowflakes while Trish scolded Mista for arranging the ornaments in such a disorderly way. You started snickering when she began to hit him on the back of the head a few times when he rolled his eyes at her.
"Damn Trish, don't attack the poor guy without me!" You laughed as she stopped hitting Mista, who was complaining about his head hurting now, and smiled at your approaching figure. "Did Giorno make that?" She pointed at the wreath that was covered in holly and fir. You hummed in response as you sat the wreath on your head like a hat before posing. "I think it would look good on me. What do you think?" You gave her a goofy grin as she placed a hand over her mouth to stifle her laughter.
"I think you would look better with my hat on," Mista commented before he received an elbow to the gut from Trish, causing him to double over and fall to the floor in pain. "I think you tormented to poor man enough today." You stated before kneeling on the ground to pat Mista's arm in a comforting manner. He gave you a weak smile before you stood back up to go place the wreath on the front door.
Before you could even walk away you hear Bucciarati call out to you from the garage, causing you to let out an annoyed groan. "Can you go get the mail while you're out there?" He poked his head of the garage with Abbacchio mumbling curses in the background that was followed by a loud crash. You winced slightly at the sound before giving him a thumbs up. "Got it, Edna! Anything else you want me to do?" You could see him grimace at the nickname you chose for him. "Maybe a broom too, I think Abbacchio dropped a box of ornaments..." You snorted and nodded your head before walking to the front door to hang the round piece of garland on the front.
You hang it on the door and adjusted it slightly as it kept tilting on its side, giving it a crooked appearance. You repeatedly tried to fix it before giving up and leaving it be. You looked at the small metal box that was nailed to the house before reaching inside of it rather carelessly and fishing out the thin envelopes from their accommodation.
You walked back inside and closed the door behind you as you shuffled through the mail. "Bucciarati, Bucciarati, Bucciarati, Giorno?" You stopped on the smooth white letter and looked at the green wax seal; it was in the shape of a holly plant, with the plant itself colored gold. "What's wrong, (Y/n)?" Bucciarati spoke behind you causing you to jump from his sudden presence.
"FUCKIN' HELL- I need to get you a bell, Bucciarati!" He chuckled and looked at the letter in your hand. "Is that for you?" You shook your head and flipped it over to see it was sent to Giorno. "Doughnut hair got a fancy letter. I'll go bring it up to him." You handed Bucciarati the rest of the mail before striding upstairs to go talk to Giorno once again.
"Oi, Goldie Locks!" You chirped as you plopped down on the couch next to him once again. You spun the letter between your fingers as he eyeballed the mail before looking at you. "Did you get a letter?" He questioned you before you stopped twirling it. "No, but you got a letter." You saw his eyebrows shot up slightly in surprise before you handed him the letter.
He ran his fingers over the festive seal before turning it over to look at who sent it to him. You watched his expression attentively as his eyes scanned the back of the envelope. He muttered something, you couldn't make out under his breath as he turned the letter back over and broke the seal.
You watched as he pulled a piece of paper out he unfolded it and looked at the festive looking paper that was aligned with drawings of a holly plant around the border. You watched his expression carefully as his eyebrows knitted together in confusion before he slowly closed the letter. "Who was it from?" You hummed as he sat there in silence for a moment.
"I got invited to a family reunion..."
"What?" You sat up slightly as he fiddled with the letter in his hand. "Well, that's great! At least you have a family to hang out with this year..." You muttered the last part under your breath as a picture of your mother flashed into your mind briefly. You shook your head and pushed the thought away before looking back at Giorno, who wasn't sitting down anymore.
"What's on your mind? You seem," You watched as his hands continued to fiddle with the letter as he bit his lip slightly, "nervous...?" You stood up and walked over to him before resting your hand gently on his shoulder. "Are you alright? Do you want to talk about it?" You felt yourself becoming concerned before you noticed the tell-tale sign of him slowly masking his emotions; he stopped fiddling with the letter and sat it down before his face slowly turned into a deadpanned expression.
"I'm fine... just a lot on my mind." You didn't say anything before eyeing the letter with confusion. You wondered if it said anything that might've upset him or caused him to come undone and get nervous suddenly. You were snapped out of your thoughts with Giorno softly calling your name.
You glanced in his direction as he was already reseated on the couch with his hand propping his chin up on the armrest. You took a seat next to him and waited patiently for him to talk as he stared at the letter sitting on the piano. Seeming to taunt him in his spiral of confusion and stress.
Giorno tried to search for the words to explain the situation to you simply, without causing you to get confused. "Before I joined Passione, I was a pickpocket." You snorted slightly and chuckled until you realized he was dead serious. You dramatically gasped and looked at him with a shocked expression. "The Giorno Giovanna used to be a pickpocket?! No way." He lightly chuckled at your response as you internally cheered in success from lightening the mood.
"I was a pickpocket. On one particular occasion, I pickpocketed a suitcase from a boy and successfully sold off all of his belongings except his passport and a few other things." He continued to watch your expression carefully as you continued to hold a neutral expression with the slightest smile ghosting your lips. Your head resting on your hand as you leaned against the couch and stared at him.
"We ended up getting in a fight with a stand together, and he mentioned someone was looking for me because of who my biological father was." You nodded your head slowly in approval, encouraging him to go on. "Because of my father, I have an entirely another family that I never met before, and I've been invited to a family reunion near Christmas to spend two nights with everyone." You could now see why he would be uncomfortable with this.
"Did they say you could bring a plus one? Or anyone?" He hummed for a second before nodding his head. "It said I can bring as many friends as I want-" "Perfect then," you cut him off, "I'll go with you, and maybe the rest of the team can come too."
"If you're going and you want someone else to go with you, of course." You quickly corrected yourself as you cleared your throat in embarrassment. "I want to go, but I don't know anyone there and I don't want to intrude." He trailed off before you huffed.
"Bruh, you wouldn't be intruding if the person clearly invited you to go, and you can always take your's truly if you aren't going to know anyone there." You motioned to yourself with your free hand. He took a moment to think about it before pointing out a few errors you didn't take into consideration.
"You don't have a passport, and it's in Japan. Plus, I'm pretty sure you don't know Japanse." You stopped in your tracks before you could ramble anymore and took in the new information. "Shit, you're right... maybe I know Japanese too! I mean... I don't know Italian too, but I'm speaking it." It may have sounded like English to your ears, but you knew it sounded like Italian to everyone else.
"Even if you somehow knew Japanese, how are you going to get a passport during the busiest time of the year?" You let out a long 'uhh' before getting an idea. "I bet La Squadra knows someone. Besides, I've been needing an ID and passport for a while now." Giorno didn't respond while you sat there silently.
"If La Squadra can get you the paper you need to travel, then I will go and the whole team can tag along if they want to." You fist-pumped the air before giving Giorno a quick hug. You gave him a big smile before running downstairs to grab your phone to text La Squadra and ask if they can get you in contact with someone to make you a fake ID and passport.
You ignored everyone's confused stares as you ran into your room to retrieve your phone.
