《Disco Madness (jjba5xreader)》[33] Hooked on a Feeling
Advertisement
At first, everything was going alright.
You got your showers in early before breakfast, which consisted of a bowl of cereal or some toast. No one in the house really cooked in the morning, and if they did, it tasted either really good or like shit.
The second day was spent trying to memorize everyone's room and get your bearings. You spent an hour downstairs trying to figure out where the hell Formaggio's and Risotto's rooms were. Risotto's room was connected to a thin hallway behind the staircase, which you never noticed until you started searching.
Formaggio's room on the other hand...
His room was the hardest find despite the house being so small. You eventually gave up and asked him where his room is, and he showed you.
It was behind a bookcase.
He moved a bookcase in front of his door and enters and exits his room with the help of . You were tempted to hit yourself in the face for not checking behind bookcases for any secret entrances to secret rooms.
You also learned that when Formaggio was tired on some particularly hard days, he'll crash in Illuso's room; since the brunette sleeps in the mirror world, he never really complained as long as Formaggio didn't mess with his things. You learned the hard way Illuso sleeps in the mirror world when you went to bring him a plate of bacon you stole from Prosciutto once.
You recently made the discovery to never eat Illuso's or Formaggio's cooking.
Ever.
Never again...
Ghiaccio, Prosciutto, and Pesci went out on a mission once and Formaggio and Illuso voluntered to cook dinner. Melone made the suggestion to pick up takeout for yourselves, but you were too lazy to pick a place and chip in money. It was the worst decision you've ever made.
It looked as bad as it smelled, if not worse; it had a smell of burnt hair and death. Melone was happily snacking on his fries while you tried not to throw up while attempting to eat their cooking. Risotto walked out of his room once and immediately turned back around when he caught the sight of you dry heaving over a plate of food; if you could even call it that.
Formaggio's cat came around once in a while from windows that Prosciutto kept open after smoking. JB attempted to get near the cat once before almost having his eyes slashed out. After that, JB kept his distance and didn't even look at the cat when it was in the same room as him.
You were pretty sure some people forgot you were a girl because sometimes you'll be showering, and the bathroom door will open with either Melone or Illuso getting ready in the morning. You had to scream at them a few times to get the fuck out. chased Melone out once and almost broke that bathroom door in the process.
You learned the hard way that taking care of a dog was a lot harder than it looked. JB shed everywhere, and you once took him out to use the bathroom, only for him to run out in the middle of the busy streets of Naples. You almost got hit by a few cars, but you caught him and opted on borrowing some rope every time you took him out.
Now you were laying on the couch sweating everywhere as you leaned against Ghiaccio, who became your portable AC unit. You stole a pair of shorts from Illuso's room and put a tank top on in an attempt to beat the March heat. You considered it impossible to get this hot so early in the year, but mother nature never ceased to amaze you.
"STOP LEANING AGAINST ME! YOU'RE SWEATING EVERYWHERE!" You groaned at the feeling of your eardrums rupturing from Ghiaccio screaming in your ear as you continued to lean against him.
"But you're so cold, Blueberry... It's everyone's else fault for not turning the AC on~!" You switched positions so your face was leaning against his shoulder and the rest of your body leaning against him in an effort to milk every last square inch of Ghiaccio's freezing body.
"You can always lean against me, (Y/n)~! I don't mind you sweating." Melone patted the cushion next to him from the couch across from you. He didn't seem to be doing any better since he had no shirt on and pair of sweat pants with his hair tied back.
The offer was tempting considering Melone would corporate with you, but then again, it was Melone; plus, he would've lost what cool clung to his skin quickly considering you were burning up from the heat.
"How the hell is it so hot in the god-forsaken house?!" Formaggio wandered into the room with his shirt swung over his shoulder with a pair of shorts already clinging to his already damp skin. You couldn't tell if it was water dripping from his head or sweat; it wouldn't surprise you if he ran his head under the faucet for a good minute.
"This is what happens when you blow the electricity bill up by watching movies at ungodly hours of the night and not turning the tv off." Prosciutto was smoking by an open window, attempting to cool off by the breeze that blew in occasionally. His pale yellow shirt was all the way unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled up. He was still able to somehow tolerate dress pants and shoes in the heat as he leaned back in his seat, manspreading.
Prosciutto glared at a nearby mirror as he spoke, possibly glaring at Illuso for leaving the tv on for a few nights in a row for when you and Formaggio joined in on his movie bingeing. You always left when it got too late and left it to the two of them to turn the tv off as you went back to bed; you guess they never turned it off.
"Don't glare at me. Formaggio is apart of the crime too." Illuso wandered into the living room from the kitchen with a glass of water already in his hand. He seemed to be holding up better since he only had a normal tank top on with some sweatpants.
"Are those my shorts?" Illuso pointed at the shorts that hugged your hips and legs as you grunted into Ghiaccio's shoulder.
"Maybe so, maybe not. Depends on why you're asking." Illuso took a long sip from his drink before looking over you with his crimson eyes. "They look good on your ass."
You turned your head to the side and looked at the male through the corner of your eye. "The better look good on my ass, or these are some shitty shorts." You did a little pose before reburying your face back into Ghiaccio.
"Is there a way you can just freeze the whole house; so we don't have to suffer?" Formaggio looked at Ghiaccio in a pleading way as you continued to hug the blue-haired male. Ghiaccio would've considered Formaggio's word if he didn't find the male so annoying and if you weren't cuddling him like your life depended on it.
"Do you want me to accidentally burst the pipes?" Ghiaccio hissed. Formaggio put his hands up and backed off before going into the kitchen to grab water for himself.

"Blueberrrrrry." You groaned into his shoulder before looking up at him, "please just cool the house down. I think I'm going to have a heat stroke if I have to stay in this heat any longer. Plus, I think JB is already dying." You glanced at your dog, who was laying on the floor under the coffee table.
"Fine! Just get off me." He shrugged you off his shoulder and watched you crumple off the couch and on top of the coffee table, savoring the cool wood on your skin.
The room quickly cooled down as Ghiaccio froze the air around him to a cooler temperature. You let out a long sigh of relief as you relished the cold air being generated in the room.
Everyone visibly relaxed from the cold air in the room as Ghiaccio silently pouted from the lack of attention from you.
"Thank you~!" You gave Ghiaccio a cheeky grin before continuing to cling to the table's cold surface as your dog stopped panting from below you.
You relished the cold air for a few more moments before feeling something cold and wet being placed on your back. You squirmed and tried to swat at what was on your back before you heard snickering. You cracked an eye open and saw Illuso holding his cold drink against your back as the condensation dripped down the sides. "Not cool. That's actually really cold." Literally and metaphorically, but you didn't bother to add the last bit as he removed his drink off your back.
"Shouldn't have laid on top of the coffee table if you didn't want to become the new coffee table." He took a long sip of his drink before an arm phased out of your body and punched him in the kneecap. You watched with a smug grin as he choked on his drink and crumpled on the ground, coughing and groaning.
"What did you say? I couldn't hear you. Now that you fell a few stories, mind repeating that in case I need to throat punch you?" Formaggio, Melone, and Ghaiccio cackled as Illuso gritted his teeth and raised a hand, and surrender. "Nothing." He croaked before pulling himself onto the couch.
You rolled off the coffee table and joined your dog on the floor as the males chatted in the room, excluding Prosciutto, who was too focused on finishing his cigarette. You gave JB a few head scratches before staring at the ceiling and taking a trip through memory lane.
You enjoyed everyone's presence since you somehow ended up in Italy. Yes, your life has gotten a lot more crazy and dangerous, but you've somehow ended up making some of the coolest friends you could ever ask for.
Yes, you were sad you were going to be separated from your teammates that were basically family to you for now, but if it meant a target wouldn't be on their backs for a while, you were willing to make some sacrifices.
Even if it meant your own life.
You remember Bucciarati calling you selfless at some point, and you knew that it would probably be your downfall at one point or another.
But for now,
you just wanted to appreciate and enjoy the little moments with everyone...
Just a little longer...
"Earth to (Y/n), anyone home? Ghiaccio, I think she might've died from a heat stroke." You blinked a few times at the sound of Melone's voice as he nudged you a few times with his foot.
"I'm not dead. I just zoned out for a second." You sat up and propped your elbows on the coffee table and gave your signature shit-eating grin. "What's up?"
"Me and Melone were talking about playing some board games or card games later since this asshole here forgot to turn off the tv." Formaggio elbowed Illuso a few times before Illuso scoffed and slapped his elbow away.
"It's your fault too, you dumbass!" Formaggio and Illuso glared at each other before Prosciutto cleared his throat from across the room, defusing the situation that would've gotten worse if it kept escalating.
"I thought Risotto told everyone to behave themselves while (Y/n) is with us. You know he won't hesitate to send you out on a last-minute mission." Prosciutto snuffed his cigarette out on the ashtray before standing up and buttoning his shirt.
"Sorry..." They both mumbled before Melone changed the subject.
"We can play strip poker, truth or dare, see who can outdrink the other, spin the bottle, or beer pong!" Melone counted down the options on one of his hands as you grimaced at the choices.
"I'm going to have to stop you there," you quickly shut him down before he could continue to list 'games', "notice how all of those games involve us either drinking, getting naked, or getting weirdly intimate."
"What if we just play cards? Blackjack?" You perked up at Prosciutto's response as he took a seat in Risotto's chair. "Fuck it. I just shot down five other games. What's the harm in Blackjack?"
A lot of harm if Prosciutto was making the rules apparently...
The winner of the round got to ask a question to the person with the lowest score or the person who busted, or they had to take a shot. It was hell if you were being honest because you were taking a shot every time you lost instead of answering the question.
"Bust... I hate this game already!" You slammed your cards onto the coffee table with red cheeks. No one could tell if they were red from the alcohol or the embarrassment of losing as you pouted.
"Haha! Nineteen! Suck it!" Everyone groaned at Formaggio's words as they revealed their cards; 17, 16, 18, 15.
"Alright, little Miss. (Y/n)~! Ready for my question." It sounded more like a statement than a question as he continued before you could open your mouth. "Do you have a crush on anyone?"
You stopped yourself from drinking and immediately spotted a loophole in his question as you grinned at the perfect opportunity to screw with everyone. There was no way you were passing up this golden opportunity.
"Sure."
"Really?! Who!" You ignored his second question and waved your finger in his face. "You only get to ask one question. Not two. Someone redeal the cards." You ignored his pleas completely as Prosciutto collected the cards and reshuffled.
He dealt everyone including himself two cards before sitting the pile beside himself. Everyone glanced at their cards as a few people tapped the table for another card.
Your eyes scanned over your cards before grimacing at the sight of a five and a two. "Hit me." You felt a card hit the back of your hand as you effortlessly scooped it up and placed it in your hand. Seventeen. You had to be in the clear now.
"Everyone ready?" You looked around as everyone nodded their head before cards were flipped over onto the table.
"THIS IS BUlLSHIT!" 17, 18, 19, 18, and a 20. You pushed your cards away before looking at Ghiaccio, who had seventeen also. "No one told us what to do if we got doubles." you pointed out the error as Prosciutto drummed his fingers on the table, clearly pleased he got a solid twenty.
"Winner just gets to pick one out of the two losers. (Y/n), who's the crush?" He disregarded Formaggio's and Illuso's giggles as your eye twitched.
Prosciutto wasn't fond of little childish questions, but he would be a liar if he said you having feelings for someone didn't pique his interest just a tiny bit. He wasn't going to confess that he was even a tiny bit jealous that someone caught your eye, but he would at least like to know if this someone was him, his teammates, or hell, even your teammates.
He wasn't surprised when you flung your head back and took another shot before coughing from the burning sensation in your throat.
"What's everyone yelling about?" Risotto walked downstairs from his office. He could hear screaming downstairs along with some cussing. If he didn't know any better, he would think another brawl broke out between his men, but after his talk, he knew none of them would get into another fight unless they wanted to get sent away on a long, long mission.
"I'm starting to think Prosciutto is a dirty little cheater with his shuffling..." You glared daggers into the side of the blonde's head as he looked at his leader with a neutral expression.
He was definitely cheating, but no one was going to say shit, except you.
"We're playing Blackjack. You're welcome to join. We just learned (Y/n) has a crush, but she's not fessing up." Prosciutto sneered and took a small sip of his whiskey. "Fuck you Prosciutto! I know you're a cheater!" Your words sounded a bit slurred as you tried to fight the alcohol in your system and form coherent sentences. JB barked at Prosciutto in a funny but cute attempt to back you up as Risotto motioned for Prosciutto to move over.
Prosciutto reached for the pile of cards only for Risotto to snatch them up and start shuffling. Risotto held eye contact with Prosciutto as he shuffled the cards, seeming to stare into Prosciutto's soul as the male tried not to be intimidated by his leader.
Risotto's crimson eyes broke away from the blonde's as he swept them over everyone's guilty faces. He knew everyone in the room has been cheating for the past hour as you pouted and laid your head down on the table. He started dealing the tampered cards as everyone grinned at their cards. He wasn't too keen on cheating,
but then again, Risotto kinda wanted to know who you secretly had an eye on too...
"I quit." You tossed your cards onto the table and got up. Everyone was groaning at the loss of information as you stumbled out of the room and into the kitchen, most likely to get water and sober up.
You ran your face under the faucet and took big gulps of water before turning the sink off and drying your face. You stared at the murky water where the dirty dishes lied beneath as you stared at your appearance in the water.
You looked sad.
"(Y/n)~! Come on! We'll stop cheating!" Melone called from the other room as a few people tried to defend themselves loudly.
"Fuck all of you! The kitchen is my new home now!" You yelled back as everyone went quiet in the living room.
You took a seat on the counter and stared at a wall and listened to everyone quietly talking in the living room with the occasional hums and grunts coming from people. It wasn't long until you heard someone get up and walk into the kitchen as you continued to stare at the wall, not bothering to look at who walked into the kitchen.
The wall seemed more interesting with its brick pattern and rustic look. If you squinted hard enough, you could see tiny little cracks forming in the wall from years of rain and age. Definitely more interesting than the person standing next to you.
"Everyone wants you to come back and continue the game." You heard Prosciutto's smooth yet husky voice as he took a seat on the counter next to you. "They promise not to cheat anymore." You stayed silent and tried to focus harder on the wall.
"Stop pouting and come on." You didn't get a chance to object as he scooped you up and threw you over his shoulder. "OI! Did you not hear me about claiming the kitchen as my new home!" You thrashed around on his shoulder as he continued walking back to the coffee table and plopping you down in your spot on the floor.
"I did. I just don't care." You blew at raspberry at him for his response and waited for Risotto to redeal the cards.
For the first time in forever, you weren't the winner nor the loser, which was a huge relief in itself.
You watched as Illuso and Ghiaccio bickered about something the former did a while back as Ghiaccio tried to expose him.
The game was slowly forgotten about as everyone guzzled their drinks a bit and watched the verbal fight break out between the two as Illuso tried to win the screaming match. Jokes on him, skaters have lungs of steel and you could back Ghiaccio up on that.
You slowly forgot about the argument happening from across the room as you engaged in a new conversation with Prosciutto.
"Nah, I never had a crush, but it was funny to mess with everyone." You giggled as Prosciutto shook his head and took a swig from his drink. "Have you ever thought about it though? No one would be surprised if you even did." He joked as you stopped yourself from taking a drink and looking around the room and thinking.
You really did enjoy hanging out with everyone back at home, especially when Narancia would hide in your room to seek shelter from the hurricane that was Fugo. That poor boy was in your debt for so many things, but you never really bothered cashing in your favors since you never really felt the need to.
You enjoyed everyone's company. Sure, they would fluster you on multiple occasions and you and Four Eyes had that theory that they were head over heels for you, but you never thought about the other way around.
You head over heels for someone? It seemed impossible.
Looking at it now though...
