Win
Ran
Dome
Fin
Brew
Leun
Vegas crossed out Win's name as a sign that he's already dead. The remaining names were the bodyguards his father used to be with in every transaction- in short, they all know their business well.
The role of the remaining five names was the same as the job Pete have when he was still in the Main Family.
Vegas is confident that he can easily get the answers.
"Have you found them?" He asked one of his bodyguards.
"Yes, Khun. Phi Ran is just here in Bangkok and now owning a small restaurant."
Vegas wore his black coat and his sunglasses. "Lets go."
If he will be asked, he wanted this to come to an end as fast as possible. He wanted his questions to be answered immediately.
If it will be proven that his father is involved in the death of Pete's mother then Vegas only hope that Pete won't hate him.
His father's business doesn't concern him but now, Vegas felt as if a tight sharp string is on his throat everytime he wakes up ready to take his breath away.
Vegas then sent a message to Nop giving instructions to make sure that Pete will not suspect anything.
With a heavy heart, Vegas can only silently apologize to Pete for hiding this problem.
Vegas isn't prepared for this and he knew that Pete will not be happy to know about this.
Vegas has two options. One, find things out and tell Pete or know everything and hide this from Pete until to his grave. The later one seems to be a better idea.
Vegas with three more bodyguards went together and arrived in a local Thai restaurant. There are only few people who were dining.
"Khun Vegas." The man in his late 40's immediately called his name.
Vegas gave a slight smile and gave a sign to let him finish serving the costumers first.
Vegas sat at the very corner with his bodyguards casually sitting on the other table. Vegas roam his eyes around the restaurant. Who would have thought that this will be owned by a former bodyguard?
The style of the restaurant was an Earth toned, calm with few people eating for their lunch.
The name of the bodyguard is Ran. As far as the information he had, he is the one assigned to train the bodyguards before yet resigned 23 years ago. It was even before Pete was born.

If he belongs to the skilled bodyguards then he likely know something about Pete's mother.
His position was always included during transactions, Vegas knew that Ran is familiar with the people his father met.
Vegas fixed his coat when he saw Ran was slowly approaching them with a polite smile. Vegas is even ready for the answers that Ran will give him.
Goddamn fuck! Vegas cursed and immediately stood up when Ran just collapsed on the floor followed by the loud sound of broken mirrors.
Vegas angrily looked at his bodyguards but none of them were holding their guns.
The few costumers were all screaming, hiding themselves under the table. Some crews went outside in panic.
Vegas eyes was fixed to Ran. He was lying on the floor, his head was bleeding due to gunshot. He was attacked at the back.
"Phi Ran!" A crew called the name of their boss.
"Look outside!" Vegas ordered his men and went near to Ran.
It was obvious that he's already dead on the spot. His face was already covered with his own crimson red colored blood.
Vegas then tried to look outside. Someone is behind this that they didn't even let Ran come near him.
"Please sit down first." One of the crews ordered Vegas thinking that Vegas is stunned.
"I'll leave." Vegas immediately said and ran outside.
Most of the people are already staring at the restaurant while Vegas was looking for any suspicious person.
"No one knew who shot Phi Ran, Khun Vegas." One of the bodyguard answered. "The person probably moved so fast that no one caught it."
"There is no CCTV nearby, Khun Vegas."
Vegas can only pull his hair in frustration.
"Be wary. Someone is probably following us." Vegas spoke in a low voice as he left the restaurant.
When Vegas went into the car, he then cursed himself.
"You know the address of the other bodyguards, right?" Vegas asked.
"Khun Vegas ..." The bodyguard names Op called his name. "Leun is already dead."
"What?!" Vegas exclaimed after hearing that news.
"The bodyguard that was guarding Leun said that they were about to inform Leun that you will be coming but... Leun's family found him in his house dead."
"Goddamit!" Vegas then said. "Did they know who killed him?"
The bodyguard can only shook his head. "They said Leun killed himself using a gun."

Just like Win.
"Let's go immediately to the remaining bodyguards." Vegas ordered with such coldness as he clenched his fist.
It isn't just Pete's mother and her background that concerns him but the fact that someone has been blocking their way as if that person doesn't want Vegas to know more about Pete.
Win, Ran, Dome, Fin, Brew, and Leun are in the same group and they also retired from the Minor Family almost years apart.
What happened 20 years ago means they are also involved with it and someone was trying to cover things up by silencing those who knew it.
Who is it? Who are they? Why are they so powerful and how come that they know Vegas next move?
Even Vegas doesn't have the answers.
Now, only three bodyguards are alive: Dome, Fin and Brew.
Vegas has been looking at his wrist watch. He felt like every second he missed also mean that the life span of those bodyguards are getting shorter.
"Let's go to Dome and Fin." Vegas ordered.
Base from the information, Dome and Fin were living together in a small cottage-like house at the end of Bangkok.
Dome became a farmer while Fin eventually became a highschool teacher. Those two are known to be good at collecting information and were trained to be the best spies to accompany his father.
Vegas is looking forward for a better and well-detailed information from those two.
"Brew is missing." Op said once again after receiving a call.
"What?"
"The bodyguards you assigned Khun Vegas, to visit Phi Brew went to his house today and they found out from the neighbors that Brew has been missing for two days now." The bodyguard explained once again.
"Drive faster!" Vegas roared with his breath feeling heavy.
The bodyguards are starting to disappear that he is afraid that he can't have any single information from them.
Win, Ran and Leun are already dead. Brew was missing as a sign that he either ran away or someone got him. It was only Dome and Fin now.
After twenty minutes, Vegas arrived in a small cottage near a farm. The place has only few houses which are distant from one another.
"Is this the place?"
"Yes, Khun Vegas."
Vegas raised his eyebrows when he saw that the old wooden gate was already open.
"Phi Dome? Phi Fin?" Vegas called their names as his bodyguards entered first.
Vegas held his gun on his pocket. This place was so eerie that even the silence brings shivers on Vegas body.
"Khun Vegas!"
Vegas immediately entered the house.
He was welcomed by the scent of blood splattered on the wooden floor. No one was on the first floor.
When Vegas arrived on the second floor, he tried to open the two rooms but no one was there.
When he arrived at the comfort room, he found the two people he has been looking for.
Both Dome and Fin is in their mid 40's. They are both soaking with their own blood while they are sitting on the bathroom floor.
"Wake up!" Vegas exclaimed as he can see the two of them still breathing.
Dome's hand was wrapped around Fin's shoulders. Fin had a gunshot on his stomach, arms and legs while Dome has stab wounds all over his body.
Their too lucky to be alive in this kind of pathetic situation.
"Khun Vegas?" Dome asked in a low voice recognizing him.
"Damn! They're still alive! Get them out of here and send them to the hospital!" Vegas immediately ordered.
Even before his bodyguards get the soaked in blood body of the two, Fin spoke almost in an inaudible voice.
"They're back..." He said and catches his breath.
"Who? Who's back?!" Vegas asked eager to find out who was it.
While the other bodyguard tries to remove Dome first, Vegas asked once again.
"Do you know Pam? Pam Saengtham?!" He asked in case these two die.
Dome laugh a little. "Nong Pam."
"Do you know Pam?! Who is she?!" Vegas asked and tried to help the other bodyguards to cover the wound in Fin's stomach.
"She's a spy, isn't?" Vegas asked hoping that the two will remain conscious once he asked them questions.
"Answer my questions or I'll let you die here!" Vegas asked mercilessly.
He doesn't care if these two will die actually. What matters to him is the information they will tell him.
"On whom is she working for?!"
.
Dome looked at him with lazy eyes, he will the close his eyes from time to time and will catch his breath.
"Khun Korn."
Dome and Fin are lovers.

Braindead - A Zombie LitRPG
In a world where zombies are trash mobs that children kill for easy exp, what hope does one little zed have? Zed was minding his own business when his master's domain was invaded by a plucky young heroine looking to make a name for herself. An unlikely turn of events allowed Zed to come out on top, and gave him enough experience to rise above the life of a mindless minion. Unfortunately, it also left him with no body to share it with... literally, not figuratively! This story contains: Some 'jokes' containing questionable humour. An inhuman MC who has no interest in pesky things like romance or growing a conscience. Blue boxes, and a DnD style system messily mashed together with several other systems. Gore, but nothing too gratuitous. The main character is a severed head so what do you expect? Kingdom/base building, because what good is a zombie without a good horde behind them. Releases planned for each Sunday until I build up a decent backlog.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!
