Quan Jue rubbed his brows in frustration before reaching out to her.
A small and soft hand was placed in his palm, emanating a slight warmth.
Quan Jue held her hand tightly and pulled her up from the ground.
"Big Bro, are you alright?" The three teenagers rushed to the youth in the black leather jacket and asked with concern.
The teenager wiped the blood from his nose and stared at Chi Jiao and Quan Jue viciously. "Cripple that man and bring the woman to me!"
The few youngsters immediately surrounded Quan Jue and Chi Jiao.
Quan Jue could feel the sweat in Chi Jiao's palms. He turned to look at her and saw that she was staring at him with her black, glass-like eyes. He couldn't help but soften his tone as he said, "Close your eyes. It'll be over soon."

He had just seen with his own eyes how ruthless Quan Jue was in the fight earlier.
This young man was simply a madman. He was certain that if killing wasn't illegal, this young man would have killed all of them earlier.
