When I woke up, I was in an empty bed. As I sat up Alaric came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his hips showing his lick-able 'v' line. "Where's Nova?" I asked him. As much as I want to take in his body, I was worried that my other mate wasn't close by.

"Spending the day with Theo. Something about doing what not then going for ice cream." He sighed and laid face first on the bed. "I don't know, I feel something in my gut is wrong. I'm not sure if it's because I had just woke up, but I swear she had red eyes like she had been crying."

I leaned down the bed and pulled my naked mate on top of me. Nothing sexual, just comforting my mate like he would with me.

"What makes you say that? I'm sure they're just spending the day together. Doing to see my parents and hers. Maybe they'll be meeting mika and Miya as well. You know how close the girls are and Mika has spent a couple nights away. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about." I reassured him not telling him I also felt something wrong.

"I don't know." He whispered. "Maybe I'm overreacting."

"Not when it comes to our beloved it doesn't. When it comes to you and Nova I overreact all the time. I just think everything is okay."

"Yeah." He sighed.

"How about we get snacks from the kitchen and watch a couple films. And when she gets back we can get naked and watch more films or-," I leaned in his ear and whispered, "-start breeding our little mate."

"Yeah." Alaric smiled up at me. "Sounds good. But I also just want to cuddle with Nova so it's what she wants."

"Of course. For dinner we can go out as well. I want to treat you and Nova. Date night." I suggested.

"Sounds good. Come on, let me get dressed." He patted my chest so I could let him get up.

"Or you could stay naked for me. I would love to be inside you right now." I smirked, groping his arse and growing hard.

"How about-," Alaric smirked leaning up like he was going to kiss me. "-we go downstairs and do what we planned to do. I love you Karter, so much. But I'm worried and this feeling won't go. I just need Nova back so I know she's okay."

I smiled softly at my worried mate. His eyes holding nothing but worry for our beloved. "Okay. Come on get dressed." I told him. I kissed him before letting him go. Alaric stood up and let the towel fall to the floor before walking into the closet.

"I'll bite that later." I chuckled as he pulled boxers over his arse.

"Not if I don't let you near it." Alaric smirked at me while he pulled on joggers then one of my T-shirts. "Coming?" He nodded his head towards the door. I nodded and got up running towards my mate making him laugh and run away.

After three films and a bunch of snacks later, the front door opened with Theo and Novas scent filling through into the living room. I could hear Theo sigh and whisper 'it'll be okay' before they showed up at the door.

"What's wrong?" Alaric immediately sat up from his laying position on my chest while I followed and sat on the edge of the sofa. Theo moved away from Nova letting us see her. Her face flushed red and patchy letting us know she'd been crying. Hard.

"Nova?" I whispered, worry lacing my voice as Alaric and I didn't hesitate to pull her between us and hold her tight against our chests. "What happened doll? Why are you crying?"

"Y-you're going to hate me Karter. Please don't hate me." She sobbed burying her face into my chest.

"Doll I could never hate you, never. Tell me what happened so we can make it better. I fucking hate seeing you like this." I sighed and hugged her as tightly as I could to give her as much comfort as my body would allow.

"Baby, what happened?" Alaric spoke softly to her just like I did, holding her just as tight as I am. "Please talk to us." He begged.

Without speaking, Nova pulled away and grabbed a hand of mine and Alarics before placing them on her belly, holding her hands over ours. "I'm sorry, I know you said to wait but I didn't know. I-I'll look after it, you won't have to take care of it I promise." She sobbed out.

Recognition crossed over mine and Alarics face now knowing what she's telling us. Smiles broke out as we looked down at our hysterical mate. Once again we pulled her between us with our spare hands while the others stayed on her belly.

"We'll get through this together doll. You will never have to do something like this alone." I whispered to her, kissing her head. My thumb subconsciously rubbing on her clothed belly.

"We are in this together, all three of us as mates. We did this baby, not you so don't think for a second we'd hate you for it. We should be sorry for not preparing you for this to happen. It did and we'll do whatever it takes to be the best parents we can be." Alaric told her.

"I'm sorry." She whimpered.

"You have nothing to be sorry for." I told her. "It'll take some time to adjust because it's so sudden but not unexpected. These things happen baby, and we can't change it so we have to embrace it. I know I said for us to wait but it happened. So don't blame yourself for something you didn't even know happened."

"How did you expect it?" Nova asked looking between Alaric and I.

"I'll give you some time to talk." Theo stated before leaving the house once again.

"The time Alaric fed from you and we mated, we forgot to put on condoms which is probably how it happened." I said.

"Cara said I'm about three weeks and four days." Nova whispered. I nodded a little knowing because that's how long ago it was when Alaric fed on her. And it probably came up because of the vampire in me and Alaric. This pregnancy might go fast because of the vampire genes. No doubt the baby being half wolf and half vampire like me. Alaric a vampire, nova a wolf and me being a mix of both.

"It's okay baby. We'll figure it all out. It'll be alright." Alaric told her.

"Promise?" She looked up at us both.

"We promise." We smiled at her.
