It's been two months since Karter, Nova and I fell out, but now we're stronger than ever. Nova communicates with us so much more we've barely had any disagreements, only one time Karter and I wanted to take Nova out for a walk but she didn't want to leave our pups or the house.

It became a huge fight that was unnecessary, all because Nova wasn't ready to leave the pups with a family member. They were three weeks old and she didn't want to part with them, so we all came to an agreement that we'd take them with us when we wanted to go on walks.

While Nova has a checkup, Karter and I are looking after the pups. They've started lifting their heads so we're doing tummy time with them. Amaris isn't quite there yet, but with a bit of encouragement and light fingers under his chin, he can hold his head up. We just about touch his soft skin, but with that it's enough encouragement to keep his head lifted. We give him a few more days, a week and a half at most before he can hold his own head up like his brother and sister.

We knew Amaris would be behind Aria and Atlas but we're all doing what we can to help him keep up with his siblings. It was a discussion we had that we want Amaris to know he can do what his siblings can do even though he's smaller and not as developed. Nova voiced her concerns when we started tummy time with the triplets, about Amaris being behind, so Karter and I did what we did best. We reassured her that Amaris will have everything his brother and sister have, the same opportunities and we'll try to help him keep up with the milestones, but we can't do it for him.

We agreed that we'd help our youngest baby to keep up, but he has to do most of the work. For now he watches Aria and Atlas and tries to copy them which I think will help him keep up. But if he can't do it, all we can do is encourage him to try his best and carry on.

Just because Aria and Atlas can do it because they're not runts, doesn't mean we don't help them as well. At first we had to guide Atlas' head up so he'd hold it up on his own for the first couple times of tummy time, but we still helped him. And Aria didn't like being on her belly straight away, so each of us would lay on the floor with her on our chests so she wouldn't feel too rushed into it. Then we'd start laying on our bellies where she could see to show her it wasn't that bad. In the end she was able to do it. Like Atlas, it only took a couple days for Aria to get used to it, but the moral of the story is that even the bigger pups need help.

Over the two months all three of us have gotten better at sharing our thoughts with one another and getting our points across. There have been times where it's got heated but one of us tells the others to take a breath so we can start again calmly. Whether it's between me and Nova, me and Karter, or Nova and Karter. We can rely on the other to tell us to take a deep breath before starting again.

But here we are, laid on the floor with the pups doing their five minute tummy time. We do five minutes, three times a day so they get used to it more. We do it before they have 'breakfast, lunch and dinner' so they can eat and relax after before doing it again a couple hours later.

"Babe, look at this." Karter whispered making me look away from Aria to Amaris who was now holding his own head up without Karters fingers there.

"Oh wow." I smiled. "He's all caught up now. There's no stopping him." I chuckled watching him look around the room now he could do it on his own.

"Nope. Your mamas gonna freak and be so happy little man. She won't want you to stop looking and being curious." Karter said speaking in a baby voice to Amaris making me laugh.

"I can't wait to have more. They're so cute but growing too quickly." I pouted a little.

"Speaking of, what should we do? Nova did say about getting vasectomies and they are reversible for when we do want more in a couple years. We're still young so we can wait at least five, six years for a couple more. Then we won't have to worry about using condoms and unexpected pups. Not that they're bad things, but I'd rather have us get that done or Nova go on something so she doesn't have to do it again so soon incase we forget a condom or it breaks." Karter said.

"Yeah. Maybe we could get it done. I know pills give women side effects and I don't want Nova to have to go through it. So yeah, I guess we could talk to Nova and see what she wants to do before we start being active again." I nodded.

"Okay. What time will she be home?" He asked. Just as I was about to reply, Nova walked through the door calling out that she was home and came into the living room.

"Hey, how were they?" She smiled as she laid down between Karter and I.

"Good as gold like always. How are you?" I asked her.

"Good. Cara said we're good to mate whenever we're ready. Oh, and the pups have a checkup soon so she can weigh them and check to see how far they've come." Nova told us.

"Okay. We'll be here with you." Karter smiled at her.

"Speaking of, what time do you both have patrol tonight?"

"We don't. Theo let us have the night off since we've done a few shifts in a row. He wants us to spend time with you and the pups." Karter told her.

"Cool. I was thinking we could go see papa and dada, maybe have dinner with them if you want to, or we could come home and do it. Get out of the house for a bit so the triplets and see their uncles as well." She suggested.

"Sounds good." I nodded. "Oh, and look what our little man achieved today." I stated showing her that Amaris can now look around himself.

"Aww, he's getting too big. I'm glad he's caught up though. When Cara comes to check on them I'll ask about seeing if Amaris can use bottles and I still pump for them." She said.

"Whatever you want to do doll. Even if you want to carry on, do what you think is best for him being small and what you're comfortable doing with him." Karter told her.

"Yeah, but it's good to have options there just incase. I know you two like playing with my boobs when we mate, I just don't want to start that again and being turned on then having Amaris feeding and being turned on because he's sucking on my nipples. It just doesn't sound right, so just in case we'll have that option." Nova replied.

"Whatever you want baby. In your time. We're ready when you are." I smiled at her. She returned it and nodded before looking at Aria and pulling faces at her, getting smiles. Now that they are two months old, the pups have started smiling properly, not just a smile of them passing gas.

After a couple hours of spending some time at home, we left to go to Ryan and Eli's house. As it was the weekend Novas younger brothers were there, but they would've been there after school anyway so it doesn't make a difference seeing as we're staying for dinner.

When we got there, Kobe wanted to cuddle Amaris while Jax wanted to cuddle Aria. Nathaniel wanted to cuddle one of the pups as well, but because he's still on the younger side, he need Karter to kneel in front of him so Nathaniel wouldn't drop Atlas. He's a chunky boy so would be a little heavy in Nathaniel's little arms.

"Boys, will you go to the shop for me?" Eli asked Karter and I.

"Yeah sure. Want to take over for me." Karter replied before moving so Eli could kneel in front of his son.

"What do you need?" I asked him.

"Some veggies for dinner. I completely forgot them and the meat is cooking so I can't leave it. Thank you for doing this." Eli smiled at us.

"Of course. We'll be back soon." Karter told him. We kissed nova goodbye before leaving to go to the shop.

Once we were done, we got a text from Nova. I had to stop by at home quickly, can you meet me there and we can walk back together. Of course we agreed and went home. When we got to our home, we placed the bags on the kitchen table before calling out for our beloved.

"Are you ready Nova?" Karter called out.

"In a minute. I need some help upstairs, can you come and help me please?" She called back. We rolled our eyes and walked upstairs to our bedroom. It's not often Nova asks for our help as she is quite independent, wanting to do it herself. But if she really needs it, she knows to ask us.

When we opened the door, to see Nova sat on our bed with red lace underwear on. "Papa and dada are looking after the pups tonight. We need some well deserved mate time and I'm ready to be how we were before. I want to get back to normal, obviously not without the pups, but sometimes papa and dada said they'd babysit so we can get it all out and not scar our babies." Nova said and stood up.

"Goddess." I muttered looking her up and down. Karter groaning under his breath taking her all in.

"About that." Karter chuckled. "We would love to mate with you, so fucking bad. But we need to talk to you about something first."

"Okay." Nova nodded. I could see worry in her eyes but she's letting us talk before getting ahead of herself. Communication. "Put it on me, let's talk." She hyped herself up making me and Karter chuckle.

"It's nothing bad, it's actually about us being active again. As much as we love the triplets, we were thinking about getting vasectomies for the foreseeable future then getting it reversed when we're ready for more pups. That way we don't have to worry about condoms all the time or you forgetting to take the pill incase you forget." Karter explained.

"Oh. Is it too late to say that Cara already gave me a contraceptive?" Nova spoke carefully.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I'm sorry I didn't mention it earlier. But Cara gave me an injection that I get every twelve weeks. That way we don't have to worry about you getting anything done. And if we want pups, I just have to wait until the twelve weeks is up and then we can try again. I wont go to the appointment to have it done. I'm not worried about the needles and you don't have to undergo the procedures of getting it done and undone and doing it. But then when we are completely done with having pups, that's when you can get it done. Does that sound okay?" She told us.

"Sounds good. Do we need condoms until the injection kicks in, or can we just fuck you now?" Karter asked.

"You're so blunt." Nova laughed. "I can't remember what Cara said about it. But to be on the safe side we should use condoms tonight. I'll call Cara tomorrow to ask again so we know when we can stop using them."

We both nodded and looked down at our mate who came closer to us. "Now can you mate me. I'm horny and need you now."

"Fucking hell Nova." I groaned and pulled her to my chest and picking her up, kissing her passionately. "You're so blunt. I love it." I grunted against her lips.
