Sleeping soundly inside my room sun rays travel through the window and shined on my face, with the bright light i slowly opened my eyes before sitting up and stretching my body. I look around at my surrounding only to spot a beautiful kimono dressed that was once wore by my mother

I stare at it for a second then shrugged it off "it's for the dance" i said practically to no one before turning my head, then my eyes widened looking back to the kimono dress running for it "how could i possibly forgotten it!?" I yelled grabbing it and look at the time it's currently 8:40 am, with that i ran to the squad 8 totally panicking along with the clothes im gonna wear. Well let's say i only had 4 hours left before the celebration start...

Once i arrived, i went directly inside the office knocking at the office door of a captain and lieutenant i heard a faint 'come in' and so i slide the door open only to see nanao nee-san doing some work no lazy captain in sight. Nanao nee-san head shot up as she saw me "(y/n)-chan? Aren't you suppose to be readying to the celebration it's only 4 hours left" she said standing from her desk walking up to me, i scratched the back of my neck nervously

"well looks like i forgot about it and i practice non stop last night so... Look like i overslept a bit"

"*sigh* well no time to waste"

"Your right, by the way where's shunsui nii-san? Escape again?"

"Ugh, the headache he escape then he said he was called by head captain to prepare something in the celebration"

"Typical"

"Well come on let's help you out, I'll call Matsumoto for help"

She said i just nod and sat down to the couch waiting for the horror to come, and my nervousness isn't helping me either, it's my first time performing our clan dance after all and i started to get worry what if i mess it up? I instantly shake this thought out of my mind and looked for the positive

I slumped down on my seat bored and lazy to do my paperwork, i look up to where taicho is and looks like he's really focus on his work. I sigh whining i want to go out and drink booze and see (y/n) doing now but, i can't escape this office without a good reason. This cause me to pout it's a Yamamoto clan celebration and everyone's invited i don't know why taicho won't allow me....

"Stop sighing and whining just do your work and i have something to discuss with you seriously" hitsugaya taicho said, as the mention of 'discuss with me seriously' it give me a chill downy spine 'aww come on! What did i do wrong? Probably this work but let me out!!' I yelled in my mind before slumping my face at my desk until a knock came to the door, "come in" i heard hitsugaya taicho said, then i heard the door opened...

"good morning hitsugaya taicho, i just came here to say lieutenant nanao urgently requested for lieutenant Matsumoto presence" my head shot up upon hearing my name and a big smile plastered on my face, when the messenger leave, i look at taicho who held an confused expression

"Ya heard that taicho i'm urgently needed, bye~" i said walking away from my table, then i saw him look at my desk and grew a large vein on his forehead knowing it's already been my 3 hours inside the office and im still on the 2 sheet of paper. Looking at taicho who's about to yell 'uh oh, time to run!' I thought and i immediately tip toed out from the office and flash stepped away from the barracks as i heard my name being yelled.

"MATSUMOTO!!! Get back here!!!"

It's already been 10 minutes and we're still waiting for rangiku nee-san and im getting impatient, fidgeting my finger to ease my nervousness and silence covered the room. I heard a sigh and look at nanao nee-san stand up "well im going to get something" she said as she open the door and suddenly we heard a yell,

"IIIII'MMMMMM HHHEEEERRRRE!!!" And we saw rangiku came to the door panting, "she probably escaped again' i thought sweat dropping. " finally! Come on lieutenant Matsumoto, we gotta help (y/n)" nanao nee-san said, then rangiku nee-san looked at me then smirk mischievously "MAKE OVER!" She squeal grabbing my hand and making me sit in the stool then they started to put something on my face nonstop.....

"Damm that Matsumoto!" I said through gritted teeth and clenching my pen, not only she didn't finished her work, she also gonna ruin my reputation. I sigh knowing this won't get me anywhere and i slowly massage the back of my neck where it hurts from my sleeping position yesterday and i also want to discuss with Matsumoto about the rumors captain shunsui and captain jushiro told me yesterday....

Flashback

"Yo! Captain Hitsugaya," captain shunsui and captain jushiro said in unison, then i raised a brow "is there something you need?" I asked them shunsui slightly laughed before grinning devilishly as he leaned in my ear whispering...

"Is it true (y/n) and you acting like a married couple~?"

that let me blushed 50 shades of red even Captain Jushiro whispered....

"We saw a picture of you carrying dear (y/n) bridal style to her house, and it was all over seretei magazine, picture taken by lieutenant Matsumoto of squad 10"

Captain jushiro make my face explode red scarlet, half is from blushing so much and half is from anger

"Uh-h-h" was the only word i can muster out of my mouth

"Well we wouldn't bother you anymore, see ya" they said leaving me there burning red before i shakily walk to my barracks...

"Matsumoto your so dead!!" I thought, gritting my teeth

Once i arrived at my barracks and barge inside my own office expecting to see my lazy lieutenant but i was only to be met with dead silence, i breath in and breath out to calm my nerves, let's just hope only captain shunsui and captain jushiro is the only one who know about it, but little did i know yachiru spread the magazine to all of the captains including head captain. He won't kill me right? Well because it wasn't truly proven.

...i sigh once more before sitting on my chair, then Matsumoto just came in

"Oh! Taicho, how you doin?" She said with a nervous smile, i raised a brow before replying "lieutenant Matsumoto, how dare you slacking off your work and spreading rumors along with the picture you took few days ago" i said in a demanding tone, she look to her side nervously

"huh? What do you mean? I didn't take any picture of you and (y/n)"

"What's this? I didn't mention third seat (y/n) name,"

"Huh, you didn't mention her name? That's weird *stepping back*"

"That only prove that you're the one who did it aren't you?"

"Wh-what? Pshh no! It's late i gotta go"

"Rangiku, if you don't come here tomorrow, I'll remove you from your position as lieutenant. I'll have important thing to discus with you"

That being said rangiku dashed out of my office, i let out a tired groan as i leaned my back at my chair and stared at the ceiling 'i wish (y/n) will do wonderful performance' i thought before closing my tired eyes slowly drifted to sleep....

End of flashback

I immediately shook this memory inside my head cause i need to focus on finishing the paperwork so i can relax and go to the celebration.... I didn't even know that i was smiling while signing the paperwork

After 30 minutes what i felt like hours, the make over is finally done, and i slowly open my eyes to see rangiku and nanao nee-san squealing together then they shove me into another room...

"(Y/n) you gotta change now, we'll wait outside take your time to prepare" nanao nee-san said as she closed the door, i sigh 'so much for preparation' i thought before removing my shihakūsho before slipping the kimono into me.....

Rangiku and i been waiting outside the room for (y/n) to completely change when yachiru, nemu, isane, soifon, rukia, and momo came inside the squad 8 barracks

"Mina-san!!" Lieutenant rangiku greeted them, which they return in smile.

"Say," lieutenant yachiru said, climbing to my shoulder "have you seen (y/n)-san? I can't find her in her house" she said happily "well she came to me for help and now she's inside changing for the show" i said looking back to the door. Some girls including rangiku started squealing while waiting for (y/n) to come out while i was here smiling and excited to see (y/n) too.

Then a minute pass the door started to open, revealing.......
