《Forgotten for a reason》Fighting trials

Izuku noticed a small box in mei's lab. He got up to see what it was "Wait! Don't open that!" Mei said very quickly so he did the exact opposite.
He opened it to see an old small model rocket with mei's trademark logo on it. Mei snatched it away "I said don't touch it." She said in a tone that made izuku back up putting his hands up.
"I had to know!!! He shouted quickly "But what is it?!" He asked as she sighed. "It's my one of my old dreams that no longer can be achieved." She said looking at the tiny model rocket.
"Why?" Izuku asked confused. "Ever since quirks became a thing any endeavors to leave the planet or explore the stars has been stopped." She stated putting the rocket away.
"You mean the light specs at night." He asked. "Yes those. The space program has been shut down for more than a century already. Even though space has our answer for a lot of things." She explained taking out an old beat up notebook.
She turned to a specific page to show him. "Our resources on this planet are finite. Yes we have quirks like ms.Moneybags that create the resources like metal, but do you ever wonder how they got the money?" She asked izuku with him shaking his head no.
"They make the metal with their quirks then sell it. Not to mention the price being outrageous!!!" She shouted. "But eventually our resources will run out on this planet! Even with quirks slowing down the process, it will still happen eventually!" She continued as izuku nodded his head.
"So a long time ago! I came up with an idea that was so great that it was called insane!" She spoke with great enthusiasm. "What was it?"
"It was to build a rocket! Head to space and collect asteroids then strip for the resources! Then sell the metal inside cheaper that it is on the market! Not only would that make jobs also boost the economy!" She shouted loudly.

"It would make sure I can make babies for life knowing that I have the materials for the rest of my life." She finished with izuku looking impress. "So why can't you do it?" He asked her as her shoulders slumped.
"For one I need money, people, and time." She said "The money is for the materials I need. People is for extraction of the said asteroid. Time is because I can't do it in my life time."
"Why is that? You build massive things all the time!" Izuku said with mei sighing again.
"The type of rocket I need is freakin massive. It would U.A. look like an ant also the fuel for the said rocket is a whole other problem. Pretty much this idea is like what my mother said it was insane." Mei stated putting the notebook away.
Izuku thought it over "Maybe one day you can! I will be there to help along the way!" He said as she smiled "Well at least I have one supporter. That's what counts."
"Do you have another idea that was called insane?" He asked interested "Well have you heard about a certain purple giant that wanted to get rid of half of the population?" She asked him pulling out a stack of disc with the top one labeled endgame.
Izuku and mei binged the movies for the rest of the day. She explained the parts he didn't understand like how a full metal man was flying.
Nezu watched them through the cameras. Though on multiple occasions izuku stared straight into the camera. "He's quite perceptive though I expected as much from him." Nezu commented hopping off his chair.
He walked through the halls of U.A. a school he loved very dearly. Though all of his precautions the villains still got into his school. Izuku to him was a child one that doesn't understand the world around him.
He may say things that come off as rude or vulgar, but that is how he lived. It's like he is a child in a teenager's body that heard certain things and is only repeating them. Though he is a natural born leader and his charisma can inspire even the odds seem unwinnable.

Nezu full heartily believes that he will be the spear that will lead the world to a new era. All nezu had to do was clear the road ahead of him.
"Lets see who will win our little bet izuku midoriya. Win or lose I believe that you will have the final choice." Nezu said to himself.
Izuku returned to the dorms in the evening avoiding the sun the best he could. He lost the umbrella though that was a problem for future izuku.
The moment he enter he caught an eri was flying at him. He hugged her tightly and spun. She laughed in cheer "Papa! You're back!" She shouted as he patted her head.
"Of course I am! Nothing can stop me from coming back!" He told her as she smiled. Suddenly he felt a large amount of killer's intent. He turned around catching a wooden blade before it hit his back.
"Dang it! I knew the plan wouldn't work! Eri,we need a better one next time." Kota said with eri jumping off izuku.
"Oh you tried to use eri to distract me!" Izuku said as kota and eri nodded. "Not bad! It would've worked if wasn't me." Izuku praised as vines wrapped him.
Then eri and kota took the chance to lightly punch him. "Izuku, just let the kids win sometimes." Shiozaki says handing kota a bag of strawberries "Share." She said as he nodded giving some to eri.
She unwrapped izuku "But!" "No buts just let them. It will help their growth so be nice." She said lifting eri and kota into the air with her hair walking away.
'I didn't sense any fighting spirit, she's good.' Izuku thought as he stared at her while she walked away then quickly looked away. He went to his room and found a mini-fridge. There was a note. Himiko wrote that she asked hobo sensei for another blood filled fridge.
He smile making a mental note to pay her back.
Himiko smiled as she exited the forest. Her blade was sheathed as the trees behind her were slashed deeply and very cleanly. "Zuzu the technique that you taught me will be show my love for you." She said unsheathing her blade quickly twirling the sharp edge of it.
The sound of a whistle could be heard as she cut the air very quickly. She twisted her body at a fast pace. Spinning like a top as her whip like blade slashed the trees.
She stopped then sheathed her blade. Then walked back to the dorms as the all the trees she cut collapsed to the ground.
The morning rolled around as izuku followed a very tired aizawa to area gamma. The place where they learned their super moves.
Nezu stood infront of him smiling. The class showed up standing behind nezu.
"I think it's time for us to settle our bet we made." Nezu said with izuku nodding to his words.
"Then who is first?!" Izuku said eagerly.
"Deku! I am going first! I am going to kick your ass!" Katsuki shouted as cementtoss made an arena. With midnight being the ref.
The two entered the arena with their blades being sheathed.
"Alright boys no going too far!" Midnight says with the rest of the class sitting on bleachers.
"When I say the fight will commence."
"Ready!"
"Set"
"Go! Let the battle begin!!!"
Izuku and katsuki instantly charged at each other taking out their blades and unsheathing them. The blade's colors soon formed, izuku's being indigo and katsuki's being bright green.

Runicka: Tournament of Monsters (A GameLit Card Game Fantasy)
The runes are changing, and with it, the game itself changes. Taygion Ardwella finds himself stranded, alone, and on the run from some very determined guards who claim Tay's stolen from them. They're right, but that shouldn't mean Tay has to give back what he took. He's only been in Stormwall for a week and already, he's earning the ire of the most powerful and notorious House that controls the city's underground. And when their scion challenges Tay to a duel of cards, Tay will find himself thrust into a game of sorcery and strategy as he attempts to both find a way out of this mess and find his own way in the world. To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. And finally, expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**Currently on a small hiatus. I have a bit of a workplace crisis going on. I'm still writing, but I don't have time to polish and publish. Chapters will return on a regular basis soon though!!**
