《The Betrayed Pilot (Titanfall x RWBY)》Chapter 7

Quick A/N - don't know how, but this story has already surpassed my MHA story, and my Katawa Shoujo story, in reads. And those stories have been out for over a year or two. I'm not even gonna ask how, but I love all of you people for reading my story. Even if a large portion of you don't say anything, i greatly appreciate you staying with me. Anyways back to the story.
The alarm for our duel ringed out, and both my Pyrrha just circled each other, observing each others strengths and weaknesses for now. Sadly i didn't have as much gear as i did before when i fought her, i only had my RE-45, my melee weapons, and my built in cloak. I just hoped this would be enough to beat her again.
We continued to circle each other for awhile, not doing anything, but eventually one of the other students got impatient and yelled at us, "COME ON, DO SOMETHING!" I briefly flicked my eyes over to the student, which i quickly noticed was Cardin.
In my brief moment of looking at him though Pyrrha quickly threw her shield at me, forcing me to dodge out of it, and in that time she took the chance to change her spear to her riffle and began to shoot at me. I tried to use my jump kit to dodge her bullets but she quickly changed her aim and two of her shots nicked me.
I lowered my body closer to the ground, and i activated my cloak, she looked like she was struggling to see me, but she was able to roughly trace where my body was. She looked like she was still struggling to see me, but it was like she knew where i was at. I took the chance to attack her as i strafed around her as i began to fire my RE-45 at her. She quickly rolled to where her shield was and used it block my bullets.
But while she was blinded by her own shield i took the chance to pull out my melee weapons and get close and personal with her, i tried to use the same trick as last time by hooking my ice pick around her shield. But she expected it, and she did a shield bashing my and pushing me back a little bit.
But i decided to stay on the offensive and i used my jump kit to slide under her, as soon as i got behind her my cloak just wore off, and i think she saw me because she spun around and slammed her shield right into my face, dazing me. I jumped back in time to see a spear in the ground right were i was standing.
I got back into a combat stance, i couldn't underestimate her this time, she was ready for whatever tricks i had for her, and i did not expect that i have to have to try this hard against her. But this was starting to get fun.
I began to slowly inch my way closer towards Pyrrha and i decided to start playing a little bit of mind games with her, i went for another hook of my ice pick around her shield, and just as i thought she tried to shield bash me again. But i was ready for it because i took the chance to move to the side and i used my ice pick as an anchor as i used my jump kit to move behind her as i kicked her behind her knees and i pull my pulse blade up to her neck. Making me the victor of this fight.

She lowered her weapons, and i removed my knife from her neck. I moved my hand forward in a handshake and she took it. She went back to her seat as i moved to the center of the areana.
"Now as you can see, Pyrrha while she did lost, she did an excellent job in one thing that will keep you alive in almost every situation, adapting. Those who fail to adapt the fastest, will be the fastest to die." Everyone was paying attention to me now, maybe it had to do with being able to beat Pyrrha in a proper 1v1. I'm not quite sure.
"Now which one of you think you have what it takes to adapt to survive?" Everyone looked extremely hesitant to raise their hands, i look over toward team CFVY and they just looked extremely hesitant and pissed at me.
But then some one raised their hand, i looked over towards Cardin to see that he had an extremely smug look on his face. The more i dealt with this kid, the more and more i disliked him.
"Cardin Winchester, so you think you have what it takes to adapt to any fight, any situation your put in?" He just leaned back into his chair and gave me a smug look.
"I think i'm good enough to beat you." He said in a matter of fact way, and i could feel my eye twitch at this.
"Now, is that so, then let's see shall we?" I looked directly towards him and i reached slowly towards my pulse blade,
"Huh" he sat up straight confused by what i meant, and i threw my pulse blade as quickly as i could at him, he just stared at me dumbfounded that i did something like this. Granted i didn't aim for his head, i just scratched his cheek, hitting the wall next to him.
"Well, i don't think you are ready if you couldn't see that coming, let alone not even being able to react to it." I quickly jumped up to the stands, and i got up in front of him, and i took off my helmet so i could look him directly in the eyes.
"I may be younger then most teachers in this school, but make no mistake, i am willing to fight to the bitter end, for almost anything. So don't make the mistake again that i am weaker then you." I pulled out my pulse blade from behind him.
Everyone was quiet after i made that example of Cardin, and he still seemed to be shaken up from the entire encounter. I looked back towards the rest of class, all of them stuck in a haze.
"Well? We still have time for a few more fights, i'm not one to waste time, so let's move it!" Class began to start moving a bit more smoothly with volunteers this time, including jeans. Even though his names is Jaune, I'm still calling him jeans for his choice of combat uniform.
------------------------
After class ended i began to start cleaning up things and i was about to head out, before i noticed someone who stayed behind.

"Velvet, i thought that by now you would be with the rest of your team, or at least in your dorms by now?" I seemed to have startled the Faunus girl. I simply walked over towards her and sat next to her.
"Or is there a problem going on within your team?" She seemed to be taken aback by this and began to flail her arms around.
"u-uhm, no there is no problem at all, hehe." She tried to laugh off her nervousness in a futile attempt, and i just started at her in disappointment at her complete failure to lie to me.
"Remember Velvet, I'm your teacher, and you are my student, it's my job to make sure that you grow as a person and reach your greatest potential" She looked at me confused, and just stared back at the arena. We just sat there in silence, but unlike before in the hanger, this silence just felt tense to the girl, and i felt bad that i wasn't able to help her.
"Velvet, you can tell me anything that is going on, i will try my best to understand what your going through, and i won't judge you for it." She looks up towards me slightly hopeful.
"You promise me, you won't tell anyone?" I gave her a deep nod, i wasn't going to betray this girls trust in me.
"I promise Velvet, believe it or not, i went through my fair share of discrimination in the past" The girl looked at me shocked at my little reveal of my past.
"Really? why would any one discriminate you, your not a Faunus though?" I couldn't help but laugh a bit at her.
"Well it's kinda of a long story, and there is no such things as Faunuses where i come from. Anyways there's more to my story, but the main part of why i was looked differently is because i had different views of people then most people felt comfortable with." She looked at with a look that i couldn't tell what it was, awe? Admiration? Or respect? It was hard to tell.
"I would of never guessed it, but what was so different about your views of people?" I winced because that was the wrong question to ask me, but i think she noticed my uneasiness with the question.
"Oh-h, uh, you don't have to say anything if you don't want to, it's not my p-place." She just looked down and began to twiddle with her fingers. I just sighed and leaned back in the chair.
"Now you got to promise me that you won't tell any one, okay?" She just gave me a hesitant nod.
"Good, now you know how there is two genders right, for the main part, boys and girls?" She just looked at me weirdly and gave me a slight nod. I could feel my heart rate go up a bit, this was so awkward for me because how few people i told this.
"Well the thing is, in most cases a boy likes a girl, and a girl is supposed to like a guy right?" She seems like she starting to get what i was saying.
"Well, maybe it's because of my fucked up childhood, but, i like both boys and girls." Yep, way to go, now she probably thinks less of me, i should of just held my tongue.
I was about to get up but Velvet grabbed my hand, "I promise that i won't tell anyone, and i-i still haven't told you what my problem is, h-have i."
I softly sit down, and i felt relieved that she didn't think less of me as far as i knew, it was always a ride of different emotions when i told people this. Mainly fear though, that one was the main one.
"W-well you see, S-Sarah," She said my first name, and the world seemed foreign to her, but i did respect that she was using my actual name.
"Let's just say, i had a relationship with one of my teammates, and it didn't go very well, we didn't enjoy each other's company as much as we thought, and so we only recently broke up, and it's been awkward for me to be near any of my other teammates, so i've been staying away for them for awhile now." I quietly nod at her story, and started thinking of the best way to handle it.
"I think you should just start to work with your team more, maybe even with your ex, you still have plenty of time left in this school, and you need to learn to adapt to your problems, or you will struggle more and more here Velvet. Just trust in yourself, and you will do fine." I stand up and i start heading towards the exit.
"u-uhm, Sarah?" I turn back towards Velvet and she looked really nervous, like she wanted to say something, but didn't know how to say it.
"T-thank you, i-i'll do my best" She stood up confidently and jumped through the exit, it was weird to see the timid girl with so much energy, but i was just glad that i didn't fail her.
I just wonder who her ex is, who would hurt her to fear her own team so much? I continue to contemplate this question for awhile until i start to work on Lilith again.

So What If I'm Trash? Who Needs Cultivation?!
Qing Shan Long. They say he isn't human. An escaped experiment from some government facility, a reincarnation of a saint, a freakish superhuman. Whatever he was one thing was clear. Be it Music, Martial Arts, Science, whatever he does he excels. He was a whimsical man. A great man. A man who craving for knowledge and excitement knows no bounds, whose collection of books and personal library would even make Alexander the Great green with envy. He donated to all manners of charities and funded many projects for helping the poor and disabled. A self made man who single handedly founded one of the largest corporations in the world, Wen Qu Technologies, whose influences reach from vast fields of expertise. From objects of war such as the newest aircrafts, droids, and body armor; to life saving medicine and vaccines; to even the mundane such as video games and the fast food industry. A legendary example of determination and hard work. He was in his car being driven to a business meeting to disclose a deal that would help ensure the country could have access to clean energy and help reduce the pollution that has been plaguing his homeland for the past millenia when he was assassinated and woke up in a strange new world. How will Qing Shan deal with his new environment where the strong suppresses the weak? From the top of the world he suddenly finds himself free falling to rock bottom. Unable to cultivate, a weak body, and all but disowned by his family. (For those who read comics and watch cartoons, imagine him as being Tony Stark, Richard Reeds, Jimmy Neutron, etc level of 'Genius'. ) My own spin on some familar tropes. Another reincarnation into another world story. The MC will take over the body of someone with a trash body that can't cultivate and will be hated and neglected by his family. Pretty typical so far right? Except there won't be some amazing miracle to heal our MC, there isn't some magical grandpa to teach him some OP thing which only his trash body can use, there isn't a hidden op bloodline, and he is not from a super amazing assassin clan or genius doctor. He isn't the chosen one, he's just a guy trying his best to make something with a crap situation. First attempt at a wuxia type story! I like playing with common tropes, maybe adding a twist, to playing it straight as a classic. I have absolutely no idea where this is going to take me but please do give your input and I'll do my best so that everyone has a say in where our journey will go. I'll admit the only knowledge I have of chinese history and ancient society is from reading light novels translated to english and some old dramas, so if I make some social passe just take it as because this is another world, not exactly an AU where magic and stuff actually exist. I'm also not actually Chinese and will basically using google to help me with names and other such, if I make a mistake please let me know! (Even if you don't like the story or couldn't bare to get past chapter 1 please leave a comment so I can find out where to improve, thank you!)
