《Youth || Klaus Mikaelson》22

It was the next morning, Elena and Jeremy went to the main part in town for another founders event, don't know what, but I hate these stupid gatherings.
I hear a knock on the door and I open the door.
"What, Damon." I say annoyed.
"What's wrong?" Damon asks. "You've been angry, or grumpy lately and it's getting a little annoying. You aren't one to get angry."
"Can you really blame me for getting angry?" I ask. "With everything that has happened to me it's expected. Why are you here?"
"I need to talk to Bonnie and you're coming. Got locked up in chains and I think it was the ghost of Mason Lockwood." Damon says and we get in his car.
—
"Greetings, Blondie. Witchy. I think you got your voodoo wires all crossed when you got rid of Vicki Donovan." Damon tells Bonnie.
"What do you mean, why?" Bonnie asks, clueless.
"Because I'm pretty sure I just got spit-roasted by Mason Lockwood's ghost." Damon tells Caroline and Bonnie.
"And why would you think that?" Caroline asks, crossing her arms.
"Maybe because he chained me to a chair and shoved a hot poker in my chest. Let's just say I'm having deja vu." Damon says, annoyed.
"Bon, I thought ghost couldn't interact with people physically?" I ask and she shakes her head.
"They can't." Bonnie responds.
"Yeah, well, I don't have time for a vengeful Lockwood. When I kill someone, they're supposed to stay dead. Whatever you screw up, fix it." Damon says. "You coming with me or are you out little kiddo?"
"Im staying with them. You're psycho right now." I say which makes Bonnie and Caroline chuckle.
—
We head to the church where the witches got burned years ago. Bonnie was scared that something went really wrong.
"Sorry, I know it's creepy, but we needed a private place around here to do the spell." Bonnie explains.
"Hmm. There's no chance it's haunted by the hundred dead witches who were horrifically burned to death in this very spot, is there?" Caroline asks.
"They're not here anymore. And they made it clear they were never coming back." Bonnie says and I walk into the room she's in.
Bonnie starts chanting and a sudden wind starts blowing in the church, which startled me and Caroline. Then all of a sudden Bonnie's Grams, who died, popped out of nowhere.

"Grams." Bonnie says, I'm total shock.
"Well this isn't good." I mumble.
"Now stop your crying, we don't have time for tears." Grams tells Bonnie. "Nice to see you again, Caroline. And Ashley, I'm so glad to see you alive. You got yourself into a mess kid." Grams tells me.
"And you've made a mess, honey." Grams tells Bonnie. "The witches told you there'd be consequences to bringing Jeremy back and you did it anyway."
"I didn't have a choice. I love him and I— I couldn't just let him go." Bonnie explains.
"I understand. But you cracked open the door to the other side. There's an old witch over here. She took advantage of it. She took advantage of you, honey. When you did that spell to send Vicki Donovan away, she wedged the door wide open. Giving a free pass to anybody with unfinished business."
"How do you know this?" Bonnie asks Grams.
"Witches talk. Even on the other side. Ashley, if only you could see what me and the other witches see everything would become easier." Grams tells me.
"What would become easier?" I ask.
"Well, I can't tell you. It what ruin the whole journey if I told you the ending. You're just gonna have to wait and see." Grams says and I nod, not knowing what she means.
"What does the witch want?" Bonnie asks.
"That's original vampire business, not yours. I don't want you getting in the middle of that. We watch Ashley accidentally get in the middle of original vampire business and it's not pretty." Grams says, which makes me confused. She said is, meaning i still am in the middle of it all.
"I'm here because you upset the balance of nature." Grams tells Bonnie. "And it's your duty to set it right. You need to close that door." Grams starts to explain how to close the door to Bonnie and Caroline calls Elena.
—
Caroline drove me to the mystic Grille before going back to the old church, that setting was too spooky for me at the moment. Before walking in I feel someone pull my arm.
"What the—"
"Ash." I hear the voice of Mason Lockwood.
"Why are you here?" I ask, kind of happy to see him, I mean he did take care of me when I was little.
"You. You need serious help. Your little trip with the 3 of them really put you in danger. It was incredibly stupid to stand up to Klaus at the school." Mason laughs. "But brave, like a Sommers."

"What do I do?" I ask. "And don't say I have to figure it out on my own because every single person is telling me that and it's really freaking me out—"
"Ashley, calm down. It's only going to get more crazy from here. This is what you're going to do, trust your gut instincts, even if you think they are wrong. And learn more about your Huntress abilities. It will help you become a better person. Look, I got to go. But it was nice seeing you again." Mason says and runs off and i walk into the grille.

It was dark out, I ran to the boarding house to get more exercise. I stopped running when I saw a girl staring at me, she looked very similar to me, almost identical, which was weird.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"You're new. You don't know, do you?" She says. "Ok, I'll tell you since nobody told me. Huntresses has the ability to sense things, you know who's around you before you actually see them. Or when you see them you know immediately what and who they are. Try it out. Listen to your gut feeling."
"You're the 1492 huntress, aren't you?" I ask and she nods.
"Yep, you are in the same spot I was in. Klaus needed the doppelgänger, while he had his fun with the huntress. But you are doing way better than all of us." She says.
"Us?" I ask.
"Yeah, we all watch you on the others side. It's kind of like a movie. See if you can handle this or not."
"I need to know everything. How I'm doing, what else is to this curse, and why Klaus hasn't killed me or how bad this mess is. I have to know or I'm going to go crazy." I say.
"First off, knowing you can handle this is the first step. It's not about how strong you are, it's about if you can fight to stay alive, and don't give up. The first thing you'll always want to do is give up, but you have to push through that gut feeling."
"What I, we all did wrong was think it's a curse. We all endured the bad over the good. You have to take the good with the bad, and deal with it. You know the 3 main disadvantages, which will be the worst of the worst." She says.
"What about the good stuff?" I ask.
"I told you about your senses. You have faster reflexes.
Now about your love life—"
"Wait. What does this have to do about who I choose to spend my life with?" I ask.
"You'll love harder. Sommer huntresses aren't the loving kind. We're stubborn, hide our emotions, and fight till we die. When you find the one, you won't be able to think properly. another thing that runs through the family is night terror's. You should be getting them soon."
"Ok, night terrors aren't that bad." I mention.
"That's what I thought. Witches have been our friends since the start of time. You only get night terrors if a witch is trying to send you a warning. And the night terror will be scary, and you'll act out."
"Ok, anything else I should know?" i ask.
"Now, all of our relationships been different with Klaus. Hate, anger, sadness, desperate, horrific, suicidal, yeah... mostly suicidal. You aren't dead though, so you are doing better than all of us. You'll do good. I wouldn't be telling you any of this if I thought you couldn't handle it. There's a reason why they call you The Huntress. I don't know why Klaus hasn't killed you yet, he isn't torturing you every hour of every day, i still don't get it. And on a scale to how bad the mess is, it depends on how you look at it, but way over the limit. It's very dangerous for whatever happens." She says, then disappears.
"Wait!" I shout and see Damon walking up to the boarding house which I've been in front of the whole time.
"Did you see her?" I ask.
"Yeah, who the hell is she?" Damon asks.
"She was the huntress from 1492, she was telling me a lot but she didn't finish. Now her and the other huntresses are going to watch me fail at this for their entertainment." I say as Damon just laughs.
"Oh shut up." I say.
"I still don't get why you don't believe you can handle this. Tomorrow morning, jogging miles on miles." Damon says and i roll my eyes.

The Trials of Bethany
Bethany, is a young girl who didn't expect anything more from her life than to spend her time churning butter and trying to ignore the abuse of her fellow village members. In any other world this would be a reasonable expectation for a person in the middle ages. But Bethany was lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it. Because her world was about to get a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot scarier. The Trials of Bethany, is a Gamelit story of a system arriving on earth in the middle ages with the characters being teleported away regularly to face trials to earn their skill levels. As such there won't be a flood of skills however there will be constant progression and other hidden treats. The story will be evolving as it's written and as always aspects of the story/world are prone to change. This is my first serious attempt at writing and my first time publishing anywhere so all constructive criticism is welcome. Currently uploading Tuesday & Friday with occasional bonus chapters.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple

Luster
Growing up with her recently deceased mother’s addiction and her own struggles with gender identity, June Fujiwara was not a nice person. Gaining powers from nearly being murdered didn’t change that, and neither did becoming a mercenary to fund her transition. It took horrific manipulation, the resulting trauma, and the family that helped her through it all. Luster is a derivative work based on Worm by Wildbow (John C. McCrae) that begins prior to Worm and although it doesn't show straight away, the story is very AU.
