《Hey Pretty Stranger Sal Fisher x reader x Larry Johnson》Chapter 4 - Elevator Love.

I'm disturbed from a peaceful sleep as my mom keeps calling my name from downstairs.
"Y/N! It's time for school! Get down here!"
I groan and yell back
"I'm up!"
Her yelling stops and I get up from my bed, picking out clothes and starting to get ready for the day.
It's been about a month since I've began living here in Nockfell and it is actually pretty nice here. Sure Addison apartments are a little dirty and look un-stable but there is actually some nice people here. Such as Lisa who I already met my first day here, but I found out a little while after that she actually isn't working here. Well sort of, she fixes things and cleans around the building and in return the buildings owner pays her back in letting her stay in the basement of the apartments.
She also mentioned she has a son named Larry I believe. She told me that he was sweet and had amazing grades when he was younger but now...he's kind of lost his way. And that blue haired boy that I also "met" is his bestfriend, he's lost his way in the tide called life aswell.
I still call Sal blueberry head, well, not to his face. Well, not anymore. Ever since I first met him I've been hiding in my apartment from him. and anytime I absoloutly had to go out I would run so fast to the elevator and run to where ever I needed to be.
It took awhile for my parents to get me into school, but now they finally got me a spot at 'Nockfell High'. Today's my first day and I'm super nervous.
It's a monday and my dad always leaves for work at 5am and gets home at 6pm, so lucklily for me I get to wear whatever I want without him yelling at me. My mom supports it, as long as it's not super innapropriate. The farthest I've gone with my outfits is being able to wear short skirts and croptops.

I walk out of my bedroom after I've finally gotten dressed and done my makeup, I walk over to my mom and she checks my outfit over.
She nods in approval then turns me to go sit at the table.
I'm wearing a sage green plade mini skirt, and a white tank top tucked into said skirt (It's gotten a little chilly out lately considering it's fall) so I paired it with a super cute sage green wool sweater, that has white fluff on the ends of the sleeves. I paired it with some cute white flats and my usual white backpack.
I sit at the dinner table and begin to eat, my mom made me eggs, toast, and bacon for breakfast. Gosh I love my mom.
Once I'm done I place my dish in the sink and sling my backpack over my shoulder, I run out the door but not before I see blueberry head walk out his apartment door too.
'He's my neighbor!?'
I squeak and quickly hide back in my apartment, slamming the door shut. My back leaning on the door I breath in and out in deep breaths. My mom walks into the room and gives me a questioning look.
"I just uh- saw a spider! Yeah, it was super big and I'm just waiting for a minute for it to leave."
I give her a nervous laugh. She looks at me again with that same look but leaves me alone and goes back to cleaning.
'Phew'
I creak the front door open and peek out into the hallway.
'Coast is clear'
I quickly walk to the elevator and press the down button and wait. But just to my luck, a hear that same stupid deep voice that would belong to none other than blueberry head.

"Did you think I'd forget about your little stunt just because you were hiding in your apartment?"
My breath hitches and I refuse to turn around. I should run. Should I? No. Well...Worth a shot.
I wait a couple seconds then begin to bolt down the hallway.
I hear the elevator door ding open then a hand grabbing the handle of my backpack then yanking me back and into the elevator.
The elevator doors close and blueberry head is pressing me up against the elevator wall, my back against his chest.
I groan as my body hits the wall.
"Let go of me!"
I scream, but only for Sal to Squish my cheeks so tightly I can't speak. The rings on his fingers begin to slowly dig into my skin.
I whimper as he flips me around and presses my back against the wall, he stares intensly at me through the eye holes of the mask and I get really scared and I breath heavy as he just looks at me.
"I told you this wasn't over...didn't I?"
Blueberry head repeats from weeks ago.
I nod quickly, scared of what he might do to me if I didn't go along with what he says.
"Good girl, behaving so well...I like that."
Am I into this? No. Am I? No. Well.
He takes his hand off my jaw and I can just feel my lipstick smudge along and off my lips.
The elevator door dings open once more and I glance behind him at the floor, 'Lobby'.
He continues to look at me then turns around and was about to leave, but he looks back at me states boldly.
"You look good with your lipstick smudged like that."
My face flushes red and he walks away.
"Dude, where were you? I've been waiting here forever."
Larry questions me.
I look at him then glance back at the lobby doors I just exited, thinking about that little elevator scene. Then look back at Larry.
"Just had to deal with some stuff."
"Mhm, whatever you say man."
He looks at me then we walk to school together.

The Priest of Genes
Meet Seth, acolyte in the Church of Virtue. He’ll be a Priest like his father soon, he just knows it. Sure he didn’t inherit his mother’s preaching power, but he doesn’t mind being the secondary priest at whatever temple he is assigned to. Just as long as he has a library. Meet this genetics textbook. Hmm, that doesn’t belong here. It must have come from somewhere far away, I guess something happened to its owner. I’m sure a studious young man who likes healing could go far with this information, whether he wants to or not. This is my first time really writing anything, so I hope you like it! Please let me know if I make any mistakes; I have a new R&D tech job at a genomics company, so I probably don’t edit as much as some people. I’m shooting for two thousand-ish word chapters released on Sundays, since none of the webnovels I read ever seem to update that day. Underserved Market! Genre is fantasy, possibly progression fantasy. Maybe a tiny bit litRPG if you wait a while and squint really hard, but that’s the most I’m prepared to claim. Hedged my bets on the content warnings, nothing that bad. Cover art from A. W. Gelman

Ira’s Faithful
[On Hiatus due to health reasons] Synopsis: Fate has plans for everyone. There are many paths one can walk and many nodes one can unlock. Yet all mortal souls only start with one node. This has been the case for many years and while there are some records of people with more than one first node, these are as rare as wings on snails, roses made of air, or ropes made of dragon-hair. Elise Anker has two first nodes. She doesn't know why and the only one that could answer is an angry voice in her head. She hears it rarely and the voice is as helpful as a sword is effective against a Leviathan. She strives to become a mage, a knight or maybe something else entirely. The future is uncertain and unless she finds out what her nodes mean, she will never know what she wants to become. But her nodes won't unlock and the angry voice tells her that she needs to find a worthy foe to kill. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. I am also not a professional author. This is simply a rough draft and therefore subject to change. Furthermore, this fiction is rather slow-paced for a rather long time. But compare it to a bundle of dynamite, you wouldn't want that to explode right in someone's face, would you? This is my first story to ever be posted. As I am an amateur writer, there shall be mistakes. More so with the fact that English is not my first language. This story is a re-write, and its original version was a request by a dear friend of mine. Though hopefully this version would be far better.. As the original version was a very cringe worthy thing. Many thanks to certain friends that have convinced me to post this. I shall do my best to at least update frequently, without sacrificing the.. quality of chapters. Tags will be added as the story goes on. || Disclaimer: Much of the chapters before Chapter Twelve are of poorer quality in terms of Grammar. So do forgive me for them, by Chapter Twelve and beyond however, the quality of the chapters should have had improved. I'm hopefully gonna fix most of the earlier chapters when I hit Chapter Twenty or Thirty.

Path of the Shaman [HIATUS]
Talin Greymarch attends the prestigious Sovereign Guard Shaman Academy, the greatest institute of learning for shamanic cultivation in the kingdom of Ilios. As he struggles with his day to day school life and cultivation, little does Talin know that he has fallen into the middle of a conspiracy that threatens to shatter the world once again. A merger of the tropes and stylings of Eastern cultivation or Xianxia with Western Sword and sorcery fantasy stories, Path of the Shaman seeks to blur the line between the two. My goal is to establish a believable fantasy world, and I want to pace the story so that I can do that properly. If that sounds appealing to you please give this story a chance. Release schedule: My schedule will be a little inconsistent due to my job, but I aim to release about twice a week.
