3rd person POV:

Early in the morning, the residents of the Mcknight household would usually wake up to one of two sounds.

One was April screaming at the top of her lungs "Jason" due to one of his antics trying to escape his clinging mother.

The other possibility was April singing rock or metal with her angelic voice that made every happily wake up except for baby (Y/n) who hated being woken up.

Luckily for them, it was the singing.

April: Aiming for a higher level in a brave new world♪

April: Blah blah blah, I don't know all the words♪

April:(melodic humming)

April: Hindered by what's in my mind♪

April: Blah blah♪

April: Here's the proof that we're living, so let's go ahead♪!

April: With a single strike-

Connor: Good Morning, dear.

April:(warm smile) Good Morning, beloved.

Turning around she saw Connor with baby Jason hanging on his shoulder, aka his preferred method of travel.

April:(happy mom noises)

April: Daddy and son bonding!

Baby (Y/n):(annoyed baby noises)

Connor: What's cooking?

April:(smile) Pancakes!

Connor grabbed some food and coffee, then sat down to eat while (Y/n) held onto his jacket.

Connor: You seem extra giddy today. What's the occasion?

April: Today, Jason is making his park debut!

Connor: His what?

April: I'm going to show all the other moms, my Jason.

May:(yawn) You sound like dad, wanting to show one of his cars to his friends.

The three turn their heads at the arrival of May.

April: Good morning, May.

May: Morning...

April: Do you want to come to the park debut?

May: Shouldn't Detective daddy go?

Connor: Love to, but I have work.

April: I'll take lots of pictures!

Connor: I could take a-

April: Honey, you're going to be late.

Connor: Ah, you're right!

Quickly finishing his coffee, he runs out while April snatches baby (Y/n) off of Connor's back.

Baby (Y/n) waved his fist at his father for leaving him with his mother.

May: Okay, what was that about?

April: What was what about?

May: Don't you want him around during the park show and tell?

April: Debut.

May: Answer the question. If you don't like him anymore, I'll gladly beat him up.

April: It's nothing like that. You saw how Jason has such a special bond with Connor.

May:(mumbles) Not really special... He's like that with everyone...

April: I want that special bond!

April: This park debut will turn Jason from a daddy's boy to a mommy's boy!

She then attempted to laugh evilly but it came out extremely cute.

April; Muhahaha!

May: That was the most adorable laugh I've ever heard.

April: It wasn't adorable, it was evil!

May: A-dor-a-ble.

April:(pout)

May: I'll come to the park with you two, so you don't do anything stupid.

April: Should we bring dad?

May Nah...

Much to the dismay of baby (Y/n), his mother and aunt took him to the park for his debut.

With any luck, April will bond with little Jason while making some mom friends.

Sadly, none of that happened. The downwards spiral that was, little Jason's park debut.

After wrapping a blanket around baby (Y/n), then calling him burrito Jason, April, and May then split up.

May sat on a bench, checking out the moms and young guys, whilst April introduced baby (Y/n) to the moms.

April: Hi, I'm April. First-time mom, long time park visitor.

April: And this is my son, Jason.

All the moms gathered around her to take a look at the little Jason.

Baby (Y/n):(death glare)

Moms:!?

April: Isn't he cute as a button~?

Moms:...

They slowly nodded while walking back.

April: Huh? Hey, where are you going?

Baby (Y/n):(death glare intensified)

Eventually, April allowed little Jason to play in the sandbox with the other kids.

April then got distracted with talking to the other moms, while May got distracted with a woman who was jogging by.

10 minutes later, the two turned to see how Jason was doing.

In those 10 minutes, Jason had destroyed all the sandcastles, tossed all the other kids into a pile which he sat upon like a throne, and began breaking their toys to pour salt in the wound.

May took one look at the situation and knew what to do. Taking a page from their father, she picked up Jason, grabbed April's hand, and ran before the mothers could unfold their wrath upon them.

Once they were a safe distance away they were able to catch their breath.

May: Damn brat...

April: You shouldn't be mean to others, Jason.

Baby (Y/n): Mwahahahaha!

April:(gasp)

April:(smiles) His first laugh!

May: That was horrifying...

April: It was adorable and I'll stab you if you say otherwise.

May: Jeez okay...

May: What should we do now?

April: I don't know...

May:... Do you want to dye dad's hair, while he's asleep, again?

April: Oooooooohhhhhh, let's do purple!

The three then dyed David's hair purple.

The park debut was a bust but at least they did what April's side of the family is known for... Tormenting others in some way, whether or not it's attentional.
