《Curse of Muzan》UA

Arriving at the school, I was met with several people walking in wearing the same uniform. Looking at my own as well as the fact I couldn't hold my swords on me, I felt...kinda different. I've been used to the strange looks people gave me when I would walk around to I wouldn't say miss it, but feel different now that it's not there. 'I guess this is part of blending in. Make yourself look absolutely no different than the people here.' I started walking in and going directly towards the principal's office. 'From what the information I had told to me, I should meet with principal Nezu first and introduce myself. From there, a set of pro heroes who's also teachers here will explain to me the matter at hand as well as what I'm going to do.'
I kept walking before I bumped into a girl and knocked her on the ground. "Sorry. I wasn't paying attention."
"Don't worry. I wasn't really looking where I was going either." I helped her up before she introduced herself. "My name's Ochako Uraraka. Nice to meet you."
'Uraraka. That's one of the girls I'm here to protect.' "No worries. My name's Izuku Midoriya. I hope you didn't get hurt."
"I'm good. Thanks for asking." She smiled at me before I started heading off. "Hey, what class are you in?"
"Hero course. First year class A."
"Wait, but I thought the classroom was the other way?" I turned around before answering the girl.
"I gotta talk to principal Nezu first thing. He asked me to speak with him before school starts."
"Ok. Don't be late for the first day. That's not something you'd wanna do." She ran off with me smiling before turning to head off.
As I walked through the school, I began using my senses that I've honed as a Demon Slayer to get a good read on the school as a whole. I couldn't find any trace of a demon killing anyone, however there was a slight trace of demonic energy that was in the school. Almost as if a demon was here recently, but isn't anymore. It was strange, but somethig I had to find out soon before one of the students actually became a victim. I found myself in front of the principal's office to knock on the door. "Enter."
I opened it to see some kind of small rodent in a suit behind a desk as well as three faces of pros I haven't seen in a long time. "I take it you're the principal of the school?"
"Yes. It's nice to meet you Mr. Midoriya. My name is Nezu and I am the principal here."
"I see." 'Their principal is a mouse?' I glanced at the pros to smirk. "Eraserhead. Present Mic. Midnight. I see you three haven't changed since I last saw you."
"Do we know you?" Midnight asked for me to think of how to answer her.
"You probably would remember me if I said this. *ahem* It's nice to meet you again, prostitute lady." Mic began busting out laughing with Eraserhead holding back the urge to laugh.
"YOU'RE THAT LITTLE PUNK FROM FOUR YEARS AGO THAT CALLED ME A PROSTITUTE!"
"Yep and I see your costume hasn't changed in the slightest. HAHA!"
"...I thought we were getting a Hashira. Not a disrespectful child." I stopped laughing to look at Midnight.
"You're looking at the Hashira, prostitute lady."

"HAHAHAHA! I LOVE THIS KID!" Mic continued to laugh to the point he fell on the floor with Eraser now unable to hold back his laughter.
"STOP LAUGHING!"
Nezu decided to chime in himself as he finished drinking from his cup of tea. "To be fair, you do dress to the point someone can make that confusion." None of us could hold back our laughter as Midnight was once again criticised for her choice of attire. Once we calmed down, Nezu brought us back to the situation at hand. "Mr. Midoriya. What of the situation have you learned thus far?"
"Lets see here. First there's two parts of this job. During the day, I'll pretend to be a student here and act no differently than everyone else. At night however, I'll investigate the campus and find out if I can find any trace of the demon that you believe is residing in the school as well as any and all demon collaborators inside the school. Meanwhile, I will also act as a personal bodyguard for the students Ochako Uraraka and Momo Yaoyorozu. Due to certain conditions the master has explained to me, Uraraka is in danger due to her having Marechi blood. Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu was asked to have a bodyguard from the Corps due to her power. I was also informed they specifically asked for me due to a prior involvement I had with her."
"Wait. What's Marechi?" Mic asked for me to explain the simplistics.
"Marechi is a very rare type of blood that if a human with this blood would be consumed by a demon, the power would be equivalent to 50-60 humans roughly. The rarer the blood, the more likely a demon will want to consume the human and the more power they'll get after they're consumed. It's not a shock that demons would also fight among themselves for a human holding Marechi."
"So we're holding someone that demons would be willing to kill one another for?" Eraser asked for me to nod. "That would explain why both Uraraka and Yaoyorozu were forced in my class and held a quotation for me not to expel. So what's your plan for keeping them safe?"
"My plan is going to be to keep them around me by having me as their friend. As such, I can have tabs on them more often. During the night however, I'll act as a guard dog with my powers as a Demon Slayer being more than capable."
"Adding to this. Outside of miss Uraraka and miss Yaoyorozu who will be told later, the people in this room are the only ones who know of your true identity and your purpose here. I'd suggest you be cautious even among our own teachers and faculty. Who knows who is friend or foe right now."
"So we have to go under the belief even our own staff are working with demons now!?" Midnight shouted in anger for Nezu to nod. "Is there any solace in believing that we can trust anyone here outside this room!?"
"If they're working with demons, whoever is working with them won't be stupid enough to push their goals out in the open. They'll probably target specific people and corner them somewhere that killing and consuming will be easier. I'd suggest also watching and making sure that the students in all the courses don't begin to turn up missing. If they do, isolate every person in the class as well as the teacher for interrogation along with anyone the victim hangs out with often." I got up and began stretching. "Is there anything else you need to tell me?"
"Yes. After school, I shall have your two students you are protecting come to the office so I can explain to them that you are their protector."
"Probably better you don't tell them. If there comes a situation where they may get targeted and tormented, it'll be easier for me to do my job if they don't have anything on me to spill." I walked towards the door to head out with Nezu saying one final thing.
"And if they find out your identity?"
"...I'll think of how to handle it when that situation comes." I left the room and began walking down the halls. The feeling of something ominous in the air kept circling me for it to begin feeling worse and worse. 'Just what is this school dealing with to make my skin stand on edge right now?'
I reached the door to class 1-A with Aizawa beside me in his sleeping bag. "Just get in and don't make a scene as best you can. I handled your paperwork so it says you have a demon quirk that allows your eyes to change and give you enhanced strength. So long as you or I don't let anything slip, nobody's gonna find out."
"Whatever, hobo." I opened the door to see a guy with blue hair argue with some ash blond that reminded me of Shinazugawa that had a similar attitude.
"GET YOUR FEET OFF THAT DESK THIS INSTANT! IT IS AN INSULTMENT TO THOSE THAT CAME BEFORE US AND THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT!"
"So did your old school put that stick up your ass or were you just born with it."
"SUCH VULGARITY!"
"Sad truth is, I kinda agree with him on the stick comment. Doesn't mean it's not innapropriate." I calmly walked in and sat at the desk behind the ash blond before pulling out a copy of the school's student handbook. "Apparently, you also need to have a tie on, so my best suggestion is try and not rock a boat as best you can, blondie."
"what was that, you stupid extra?" I ignored the guy and kept reading the handbook trying to make sure I knew of everything of the school. "YOU THINK YOU'RE SO TOUGH!? I BET I CAN KICK YOUR ASS EASILY-"
"CAN YOU PLEASE START INSTEAD OF SLEEPING IN A HALLWAY, HOBO!? I'm getting really tired of hearing this idiot's mouth!"
Eraser stood up and came out of his sleeping bag before finally addressing the class. "Hello. I'm Shota Aizawa. As of today, I will be your homeroom teacher." The hobo brought out a bunch of what looked like workout uniforms from the sleeping bag and placed them on the podium up front. "Put these on and meet me outside." He left with the situation not that intimidating to follow him out. I went right towards the changing rooms to change and head out in next to no time. I was even able to beat Eraser out to surprise him. "You're a quick one."
"My job demands me to be quick." A smirk came to his face for us to stand outside for a few minutes.
"So, what happened to make you a Hashira?"
"Let's just say, Suicide Forest has one lest high ranking demon lurking in it and leave it at that." We remained silent for the class to come out and line up beside me and in front of Eraser. He explained we were doing a quirk apprehension test or something before tossing the ash blond a ball and having him throw the ball as far as he could with his quirk. I wasn't paying as much attention since my job wasn't to. To make a long story short, the guy explained we were going to do eight tests. Each one was to determine our base strength or something with one of the girls with pink skin I think was named Ashido, was stupid enough to say this would be fun to do. This led to Eraser saying that the person who gets last will be expelled. I don't blame him. If I screw up with my job, I could die. Someone else could die. This isn't an example of unfairness. This is the real world and it's never fair.
The exams finished fairly easily with some of the test not being that hard for me. I was able to place nicely in the side to side, sprint, and grip test thanks to my training. Apparently, I was one of the best in the long distance, toe touch and sit ups. Ones I was unfortunately lagging in were the ball throw and standing long jump mainly due to some of the people present being well, more versed than me due to the use of their quirks. "Alright. To make a long story short, I'm not going to tell you all your scores for every test. For the most part, you all should at least understand where you stand overall. Also, there's no expulsion. It was all a logical ruse to get you all to work hard."
Everyone freaked at this besides a few for the Yaoyorozu girl to comment. "Sorry, I thought you all knew that from the start. Probably should've said something."
"I wouldn't have." I spoke up while explaining. "The world is going to give curves in life. Preparing for the worst scenario is something you need to be ready for whenever."
"Midoriya's right. Consider this a small example of your future. Syllabuses are in the classroom. Make sure to grab them before you leave. Class dismissed." Aizawa left with me seeing where I stood. Apparently, I placed at fourth. I glanced at the ash blond who seemed to smirk at me.
"Where'd that cockyness go? Seems I'm already on top of you."
I walked off not caring as much. "What I lack in these tests, I make up for in battle experience. Something that you all are most likely lacking in." I didn't say much more knowing it was pointless before seeing Yaoyorozu walk up to me and point towards the side. I agreed with her to lean on a wall in a corner and wait for her to speak up.
"I'd like to say first off, thank you again and it's very nice to see you again."
"I'm sorry? I'm not sure what you're talking about." I tried to play dumb trying to keep my cover.
"...I guess you aren't the person I'm talking about. My mistake. On a side note, you wouldn't happen to know the person who is a Demon Slayer in here would you? I have actually asked for the one that saved me specifically to try and become a Demon Slayer myself. I also found a friend of mine that was saved by a woman that reminded her of a butterfly saying she knew someone her age. My friend also mentioned the reason she was attacked due to her blood. As such, she wants to become one as well. I figured learning from someone our age would make things better."
I heard this before trying to deter her. "I want you to know this. From what I heard of the Demon Slayer Corps, it's not all fun and games. The chances of you even surviving to become a Demon Slayer through Final Selection is so small, you only have about 10% on average. Sometimes, nobody survives Final Selection. This is before you face the real world's demons. Becoming a Demon Slayer is hell on earth. Are you prepared to jump into that fray? Being a hero is far easier and you can still help the Corps in some ways."
Yaoyorozu shakes her head no. "That's not what we want to do. We want to help as a way to pay forward what's happened to us. And if we die during this, we've made peace with it."
I gritted my teeth in anger knowing someone that doesn't have to wants to join the Corps as a thank you to me and Shinobu. "I still don't agree with it, but alright. I know the Demon Slayer. Tell your friend to come towards the forest tonight at midnight. We'll have to do this during the night."
"Understood." She walked away with the fact I now have two possible students annoying me so much to groan.
"God I hate to know this is happening. It's just one thing after another."
And that finishes this chapter. So Izuku will be training Momo and Ochako in secret at night. See how that happens next time. Hope you all enjoyed and thanks for reading.

Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. When people in her small town had to deal with rioters and looters after the system announcement, she rallied them to defend themselves, earning her a trait that the government found extraordinarily useful. After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The US government, hell, even the United Nations, seems to have fallen into complete and utter chaos. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up?
