《Tokyo Ghoul X reader OneShots》Tell Me You Love Me | Mutsuki Tooru

A/N: By the way in this one the reader DOES NOT return Mucchan's feelings. Heads up this gets pretty SMUTTY (READER GETS VIOLATED) and has SPOILERS. (The timeskip at the end is after the last chapter of :re)
"Mutsuki?"
The now white-haired boy turned around at the mention of his name, his visible eye locking with your beautiful (e/c) orbs. Worry shone in them like sunlight.
"Are you okay? You've been distant for a while now..." You said, settling down next to him on the park bench. "I'm worried. And so is Urie, and Saiko, and everyone else. Is everything okay?"
He was surprised by your calm tone. You were usually one to be loud, funny, energetic... The life of the party. You and Shirazu were the Quinx's trouble making duo until he... Since then you had seemed to dull down, yet hearing you talk with concern and worry threw him off.
"I'm okay." He stated, adverting his eyes back in front of him. It was a lie, though. Ever since Torso, he felt like something inside him snapped. With those memories coming back, Haise completely gone, and the change in the Quinx squad, he was so far from being okay.
You eyed him suspiciously. You knew something was wrong. You had a sort of sixth sense for things like this, feeling the mood around someone and knowing if something was off... And something was definitely off with your friend.
"I call bullshit." You boldly said, but returned to your calm tone. "You know you can always speak to us, right Tooru? Even Urie would be glad to hear you speak up. And Saiko and I will do anything for you, you know? We're all worried, Mutsuki. You don't need to go through this alone."
"Why?" He asked, fixing his gaze on a far away tree. "Why do you care so much? Don't you have things to do?" He didn't mean to sound so harsh, but... If it got his point across, then so be it.
Taken aback by his tone of voice, you hesitated to answer for a while. After a few minutes of inner debate, you slowly reached for his hand, on his lap and placed your own over his, impressed by how cold it was.
"We care because we love you, Tooru." You answered. "It pains me to see you like this. I just came by to tell you I'll be there no matter what, so if you ever have doubts about anything, don't hesitate to come and find me." With that, you got up and left the male by himself to think things over.
"We care because we love you, Tooru." They loved him? No. That wasn't what you said, was it? It didn't sound right.
He watched you go, thinking over the many times you had done a similar thing. After the cab incident, you had come to find him to make sure he was okay. After the auction, you stayed by his side to ensure his safety and make sure he was okay, too. After the Rose operation, you stayed with him and helped him get his feelings out, completely forgetting and bottling up your own grief over your best friend's death. You did it all for him, no?
It really made him wonder if he had ever given you something back. You were his emotional support, yet he had never stopped to check if you were okay, too. He didn't thank you, nor did he give you any gift as thanks. What did he give you back?

"...because we love you, Tooru." It seemed off. Those weren't your exact words, he as sure of it.
Closing his eyes and concentrating, his mind worked on deciphering what you had really said.
"...love you, Tooru."
Love. He never felt it. His newly remembered childhood was everything but happy, and his days at the academy were hell. He never felt love, but...
You had been there for him all the way. You had been the one to cry when you first saw him after he escaped from Torso. You had been the one who went out of your way to ask about his wellbeing. And for that, what Mutsuki gave you back was...
Love.
Right?
That had to be it. And you had to love him back, right? Showing concern for someone, being there for someone, that's what you do when you love a person, right? So you loved him back!
"I care because I love you, Tooru."
He thanked his mind for finally remembering what you really said. He couldn't remember you saying 'we'. You spoke in first person. You were the only one concerned about him. His mind figured it out, and he trusted it.
"I love you too." The words felt amazing on his tongue. A warmth spread through his chest, and he knew it had to be love. Love that you returned.
But what should he do now? What if someone learns about it and wants to steal you away? After all, you were one of a kind. People would probably throw themselves at you, and Mutsuki couldn't have that. He loved you, so he couldn't let something like that happen. He'd stop anyone that tried to take you away, no matter who it is. It could be Sasaki for all he cared, and Tooru wouldn't hesitate to kill his superior if it meant he still had you for himself only.
And to have you for himself, he'd have to make you his. That's what people did when they were in love, no? You were going to be his, and he was going to become yours. Hell, he already considered himself yours. He had always been yours, and he will always be.
Getting up from the bench, he let his lips turn up, creating a love sick smile that any passerby would easily mistake as a grin of insanity. He had to go find you before it was too late.
••••
"How was he?" Urie asked, leaning on the kitchen counter as you sat down on a bench at the said counter.
"Not too well. He's having more trouble expressing his emotions than you had before, Urie." You smirked at your teasing sentence, only to have it fall back into a frown. "I'm worried for him. I'm scared he'll snap or something."
"Mucchan's strong. And you're pretty convincing when you want to, so with us there, I'm sure he'll pull through!" Saiko said, sitting down next to you.
"Yeah, but he had to go through a lot in such a small period of time..." You muttered. "First Shi-" your throat tensed up at the mention of him, "e-er, him, then Torso, then Sasaki... We all know how close he was with Sassan." You released a shaky sigh and slumped in your seat, pressing your palms to your forehead. "I-I can't believe I let this go s-so downhill..." You whimpered.
You felt Urie put his hand on your back, a gesture that you deeply appreciated.
"It's not your fault, (Y/N)-nee-chan!" Saiko said. "You're not responsible for this!"

"I promised myself I'd keep the Quinx happy..." You wailed. "And look at where it got us! Shirazu's dead and his body is lost, Sassan's just up and gone to the ghouls, Tooru's distanced himself, and I'm becoming an emotional mess! ...I just want things to go back to how they were. I-"
Your emotional speech got interrupted by Urie wrapping his arms around you in a calming embrace. "It's not your fault." He spoke. "None of this is your fault."
Closing your eyes, you hugged him back until someone cleared their throat. Snapping your gaze on whoever it was, you spotted Mutsuki by the doorway leading to the kitchen. You never heard him come in.
"Mucchan!" Saiko cried out.
"I'm just here to speak to (Y/N)." He stated, glaring daggers at Urie's back, who slowly let you out of his embrace. Once the squad leader turned towards his friend, he gave him a small smile.
"It's nice to see you, Mutsuki." Urie said.
Mutsuki's glare faltered once Urie faced him, and he put on a small but fake smile.
"You too, Urie. I'm sorry for interrupting your moment with her, but could I steal her for a moment or two?" He asked, his tone a bit too sweet for your liking. He was really hiding something and you fucking knew it.
"Wanna go talk in my room?" You proposed, nodding your head in the general direction of the stairs that head towards the third floor.
"Sure." He smiled. You wanted to make him yours, didn't you? Mutsuki was sure you were on the same page as him. He started walking towards the stairs, passing the three of you in the process and saw you breathe in when he was just a little further. You breathed in his scent, didn't you? You were as far into this as he was, he had no doubts.
Before you followed your friend, Urie gripped your hand, making you stop and turn back to him. "If anything happens, we'll be here. Just scream if you need help, okay?" He muttered. "There's something off about him." He added.
You furrowed your eyebrows but still nodded, feeling Urie's hand tighten around yours.
"Are you coming, (Y/N)?" Mutsuki's sickly sweet voice rang out. Urie just had to make it a whole lot harder, huh? Not that he could ever stop him from loving you, and you'd never go for someone like Urie. Still, if that man won't let go of your hand in the next three seconds Mutsuki won't hesitate to cut it off of him.
"Yeah, I'll be right there!" You said as you side eyed Urie, silently asking him to let go of your hand. He complied, and you quickly made your way to the stairs, Mutsuki stalling to climb them behind you. Not that he thought you'd escape him, but... Better off safe than sorry.
The two of you quickly made it to your room and you opened the door, letting your friend in first.
"So, what's going on?" You calmly asked, stepping inside and closing the door behind you.
"I think it's better if you sit down," Mutsuki quitely said, smirking as you turned your back to him and the door to settle down on your bed. It gave him the chance to lock the door to assure no one would interrupt the two of you. Satisfied with his work, he walked over to you, standing in front of you.
"You can talk to me, Tooru."
The way you said his name made him shiver. If only he could make you scream it, moan it, groan it right this instant... But he'd have to be patient.
"I... I thought about what you said to me." He started. The look of worry in your eyes made him feel so special. He was so happy you loved him back.
"I'm glad. We're here for you, okay?" You smiled.
"I'm glad. I'm here for you, okay?"
Tooru nodded and took a deep breath, readying himself. "I... I love you too." He spoke, planting his feet on the wooden floor, ready for you to tackle him in a hug, for you to throw yourself at him and kiss him, for you to pull him down on the bed and make him yours.
Yet, nothing. You sat there, mouth closed and eyes holding nothing but confusion. What happened? Was he too late? Did Urie steal you away already? Was it Saiko? Hsiao? Higemaru? Aura?
"I... Uh..." You glanced around the room nervously. "Is this platonic..?" You asked.
"What? No!" He exclaimed. You stood up from the bed and Mutsuki slightly panicked. Grasping your right hand with both of his, he continued. "I love you! I want to be yours, (Y/N)!"
You nervously chuckled. "Tooru, I'm sorry but I..." You couldn't break his heart. The poor boy had been through too much already... Another heart break would actually break him.
In a state of panic, the white-haired male grabbed your face and crashed his lips on yours in a desperate attempt to make you see how much you truly loved him. He felt your hands on his shoulders, trying to push him back but he kept his ground. Maybe you just didn't realize yet, but he'll make you realize it.
His lips glided on yours with fervour, and he pressed his body against your own for more contact, hoping you could feel just how much love he had for you. Soon, his lungs burned for air, forcing him to pull back.
You both gasped for air, and you took the moment to swiftly try to punch Tooru and make your escape. Sadly, his reflexes had gotten a lot better and he caught your wrist, taking hold of your other as well, still panting.
His disheveled hair, heavy lidded eyes and slightly gaping mouth made him look so lustful that if you weren't in the actual situation you were in right now, maybe you wouldn't be fighting back. But that was considering a lot of variables, one being you just didn't return his feelings.
"Just tell me." He begged. "Tell me you love me and I'm all yours and yours only. Please, tell me you love me like I love you." His grip on your wrists tightened and you uncomfortably shifted, trying to take your mind off of your bruising limbs.
This poor boy was already broken. You now knew. You wished you could do something, but playing along would just hurt him even more...
"Tooru, please... I don't-"
"You don't love me?" He answered for you. Mutsuki darkly chuckled. "Then I'll make you love me. Because I love you, (Y/N)! And I deserve to be loved!"
Before you could scream for help, Mutsuki roughly pushed you on your bed and took out a pair of handcuffs from a pocket in his jacket.
'Where the fuck did he get the fucking handcuffs?!' You thought as he clipped them on your wrists, somehow managing to pull them behind your back. Opening your mouth to screech once more, you felt his hand clamp down on it, silencing you.
"You'll see, (Y/N). Don't worry, you're loved too! I'll make you mine, and I'll be yours." With that, he took his hand off to kiss you once again as you fought against your restraints. His legs pressed against your hips and you lowered your eyes to see that he was taking off his jacket and unbuttoning his shirt.
This was it, huh? You were going to be violated by someone you considered a friend, while your other friends were just downstairs, completely oblivious.
Mutsuki bit your lower lip and roughly tugged on it, causing you to unwillingly moan. He took the chance and slipped his tongue in your mouth, exploring it as you put up no resistance. It was hopeless anyways. Although you had always been slightly stronger than Tooru in Quinx training, the positions changed drastically after the whole Torso thing.
The male shrugged off his shirt, leaving his bindings out in the open. He knew you wouldn't judge him. Your love for him was an unconditional one after all. Gender wouldn't change anything. As he tugged on your lower lip, the sound you let out gave him a chance to slip his tongue inside your mouth and simultaneously made a wave of heat travel down to his crotch, causing him to grind his hips down on yours in desperate need for friction. Only you could make him so hot and bothered. Was it a sign of love?
Mutsuki finally took his tongue out of your mouth, licking off any excess saliva around your lips before covering your mouth with his hand once again and dipping his head to your neck, licking, biting, sucking, kissing, anything he could do to make you squirm underneath him. Your submissiveness turned him on.
You felt his hand on your own shirt, undoing the buttons on it and exposing your upper body to him. You couldn't even look at him in the eyes as he made his way to your collarbones, still tracing his tongue where ever he pleased. You never thought you led him on... You were just being a nice friend, you treated him exactly like how you treated the other Quinx members... So why?
This man was actually ready to rape you. This wasn't Mutsuki Tooru. At least, not the one you knew. You had the right to get out of this, so you made up a plan in your mind. Your wellbeing came before someone else's feelings.
Mutsuki didn't bother with your bra. Instead, he lowered his head to your stomach, kissing his way down, licking to the hem of your pants where he unbuttoned your jeans and you lifted your hips so he could slide them off with one hand. You had to gain his trust so he'd take his hand off of your mouth.
"I love you so much," he muttered against your skin. "I'm all yours–aah" he moaned out as you pressed your knee between his legs.
"Kiss me again." You stated against his hand. He somehow managed to hear what you said and climbed back up your body, wrapping his lips against yours as you kissed him back, gently rubbing your knee on his crotch.
As much as this disgusted you, this was your only ticket out, and you weren't going to let go of it.
Tooru couldn't hold back a moan at your sudden willingness. Not that he wanted to, anyways. He wanted you to know that you affected him, that he loves you. Holding anything back would just be meaningless.
Since his mouth was currently on yours, one of his hands tightly gripped your hair as the other roamed down between your legs and you could barely stop a disgusted expression from settling on your face. You moaned in the kiss, and successfully got Tooru to pull away.
"Make those sounds again." He commanded, fingers ghosting over your clothed privates.
You let your mouth open, looking him in the eye as you let out a blood curdling shriek. It didn't matter if he covered your mouth now. They heard you for sure.
Growling, Tooru slipped his hand under your underwear. "You fucking bitch."
That was the last fucking straw.
You heard the hurried footsteps of Saiko and Urie as you kicked Mutsuki's bare stomach in an attempt to let you go but he pinned down both of your legs with his own, fingers painfully thrusting into you.
You let out a yelp as Urie broke down your bedroom door, not even stopping out of shock. He tackled Mutsuki to the ground and Saiko pulled you out of the bed and towards the door.
"No! Let me go! She's mine!" He yelled as he fought against Urie. "I deserve to be loved!"
"Do you think that's fucking love?!" Urie yelled, successfully pinning down his half naked comrade. "You never got her consent! You knew she didn't want to! Look at her!"
With that, Mutsuki's gaze fell on your cowering form. You couldn't stand his gaze on you anymore. Whimpering, you hid your face in Saiko's neck and finally let out those sobs you had miraculously concealed through the whole ordeal.
"You fucking broke her!" Urie yelled. "Love isn't supposed to do that!" He roughly pushed Mutsuki's upper body on the floor, causing his head to hit the hard wood.
Yet, his eyes never left your body, shoulders shaking with each and every sob you let out as Saiko embraced you, trying to calm you down. His heart broke at the sight. Had he really gone that far?
" care because love you, Tooru."
"I'm glad. here for you."
Damn his broken mind. Damn him and his desperate self. He screwed up big time. He made stuff up, he forced himself onto you, he broke you. Had he really let his violent self through yet again? What would have happened if you never screamed? He could have killed you, for all he knows.
Seeing the expression on Mutsuki's face, Urie's grip loosened a little.
"I'm sorry..." He whispered before he cried tears of his own. "I'm so sorry..."
"Yeah, well sorry won't cut it for something like this..." Urie sighed before looking back towards Saiko. "Take her somewhere else, yeah? And find something to break the handcuffs with."
The blue haired girl nodded and guided you out of the room.
••••
"Mucchan! You came for dinner!" Saiko cheered as the still white-haired boy walked in, a small smile on his face.
"I thought it'd be a good idea since it's been a while..." He explained, "I'm glad to see this place got lively again." He added, glancing around, spotting pictures almost everywhere, most of them had him in it, and most of them had you.
