《Tokyo Ghoul X reader OneShots》Incubus | Mutsuki Tooru

A/N: I'm sorta planning on making a whole other book for this thing and I need feedback!
Also I want ya'll to know that the incubus idea isn't mine. it's @supermiinah who came up with it, and I messaged them to ask if I had the permission to use the idea, and as soon as they answer, if they deny it, i'll take this off the one shot book! Until then, enjoy!
Your walking pace slowed down once you hit more cramped streets in your city. You despised walking in busy streets like these with a passion. There was just so many people and so little ways to avoid accidental physical contact with them. You literally always had the words 'sorry' and 'my bad' on the tip of your tongue, ready to be exclaimed if needed.
But that was apparently not enough.
Turning your body to the side to avoid bumping into someone, you crashed into another person instead, sending you both tumbling down on the ground.
"Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry!" You exclaimed, lifting yourself on your knees and looking down at the mess you created, the poor guy's papers scattering all around the sidewalk. You quickly gathered the ones that were around you, hoping you managed to get all of them before giving them to the man in front of you, an apologetic smile on your face. "Again, I'm so sorry." You stated.
"It's... It's fine." He muttered, slowly taking the papers from your hands, a dazzled expression on his face. How cliché. You wouldn't be surprised if he tried to ask for your number or something (not that you wouldn't give it to him, because you would ). "Thanks for... helping me. Not a lot of people would have done the same." He chuckled, putting away his stuff and helping you up. "It's very kind of you."
"It's nothing, it was partially my fault that you fell, after all." You explained before flashing him a small smile, which the green haired boy reciprocated. The way his olive green eyes lit up was absolutely adorable.
"Well, uh, have a nice day! Thank you." With that, the boy turned around and walked away, blending into the crowd (a bit too) soon after.
"Yeah, you too..." You muttered before turning around and making your way to your destination.
"Isn't it funny how he could be like, a serial killer or something?" Your friend joked, taking a sip of his coffee. "You could have had a pleasant talk with a serial killer or something."

"He wasn't a serial killer, Touma." You insisted, leaning over the table to lightly hitting the back of the male's head. "He was nice, and sort of shy. I can't imagine him being a serial killer."
"It's the ones quiet ones you always have to watch out for. That's what the saying says, no?" The sharp toothed male beside you added. "He could be a criminal."
"Oh my god you guys the poor man isn't a criminal!" You exclaimed, huffing in disbelief at how persistent the two boys were being.
"We're just messin' with ya! Right Hige?" Shirazu glanced at the pink haired boy sitting in front of you, smirking.
"Right, right." He said, waving off your annoyance. "Sorry for getting you worked up."
"As if you're sorry." Urie sarcastically commented. "Your goal in life is to literally annoy them until they murder you. If anything, that guy was the one who bumped into the serial killer, not the other way around."
"Not you too." You groaned, facepalming at Urie's words. "C'mon guys, can we switch the subject? I regret bringing it up..."
"We can talk about Aura's encounter yesterday nig--"
"That's alright, we don't need to!" The dark haired boy exclaimed, suddenly very comfortable with interrupting Saiko and speaking his mind, although that only lasted a few seconds before he curled back up on himself and shut up.
You eyed him with pity before asking something you knew he'd hate you for. "What happened last night?"
Shinsanpei hid his face in his arms while Touma sympathetically patted his back, muttering about how 'it was bound to happen'.
Hsiao sighed. "He was walking outside last night and he thought he saw a man sexually assaulting a woman so he went to help but... They didn't need his help, apparently."
"Good thing Hsiao was around because the guy was about to beat him up, apparently!" Saiko piped in, only adding to Aura's shame.
"Wow, that's two of us in less than twenty four hours!" Touma exclaimed. "We can't trust other human beings, can we?"
You slammed your fist on the table, causing half of the café to turn their attention to you. You leaned forwards to avoid having anyone else hear anything else from you. "Oh my god, Touma, the boy isn't a serial killer!" You whisper yelled.

"I'm just saying, you can't trust humans now! We're probably more corrupted than demons!" He insisted, leaning away from you and raising his hands in defense. "I mean I'm sure a succubus or an incubus would treat me better than all my exes!"
"The hell is that?" Shirazu grimaced at the unknown words.
"Oh, I heard about those!" Saiko exclaimed. "They're these demons that feed off people's sexual energy to survive. Usually they fuck people that are asleep. Succubi are females and incubuses are males! The paintings of them are super creepy."
"How'd you even know about those?" You asked Higemaru before backtracking. "Wait! Don't tell me, you kinky bastard!" The pink haired man simply smirked. "Talk about non-consensual sex..."
"Actually, some mythology says that they can get more energy and power from humans who do give their consent, since it corrupts them more." Hige said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Don't say it like it's a casual subject of conversation." Urie muttered. "It's fucking gross."
"Maybe the guy Aura caught last night was an incubus feeding!" Saiko conspiratorially said.
"Could be the girl who was the succubus, though. Don't be sexist, Yonebayashi." Shirazu argued, satisfied with his fair point. "I'd let a succubus fuck me any day."
"You guys are gross, holy crap." You muttered. "C'mon, Hsiao, Aura. We're leaving these weirdos." You jokingly said before getting up. "See you guys at work tomorrow, I guess."
"Hey! Don't forget you have to take my clean up duty tomorrow!" Higemaru exclaimed before you were out.
"Right, and I get the money for it, too." You smugly said, chuckling when the boy paled up.
"I need that money..." He muttered, staring down at the wooden table in front of him in a troubled manner.
"Argue with me tomorrow at Quinx." You proposed before leaving, Hsiao, Shinsanpei and Urie not too far behind you.
"Oi!" Shirazu's voice rang out a bit behind you. Turning around, you watched as Urie passed you, rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, what's up?" You answered, noticing a flash of light pink before it disappeared back inside the café you all were eating in.
Ginshi snickered. "Don't trust people, (Y/N)! I'm remindin' ya!"
"I hope an incubus finds you tonight! Both of you!" You retorted before leaving, the image of Shirazu's insulted and disgusted face burned into your retina.
You tossed and turned in bed, finding it horribly difficult to fall asleep. It wasn't uncommon, but you had a lot more trouble than you usually did.
Sighing, you glanced up at the dark ceiling before the image of the adorable boy you bumped into this morning appeared in your sight of vision for a millisecond. You blinked it away and laid your arm over your eyes, desperate to get a wink of sleep.
But... That guy was a bit cute, right? Sure, maybe he wasn't worth losing sleep over, but you could still think about him for a bit, no? Damn, you should have asked for his contact information or something...
Sighing once again, you sunk further into your comfortable mattress, praying to what ever higher power out there that you could sleep tonight.
Your prayers weren't answered.
Instead, an odd feeling to your cheek simply woke you up furthermore and you swatted away the measly bug, making a mental note to check if you need to call an exterminator again.
After a few seconds, you felt a similar feeling and yelped in disgust, recoiling from the caterpillar-like insect.
Crawling to the other side of your bed, you blindly reached out for your phone (because you really didn't want to waste money on a bedside lamp), activating the flash on it and directing it in front of you, yelling when you didn't find any insects, but an actual man, standing next to your bed.
Your eyes darted to the two black horns that protruded from his head, leaning back and curling slightly at the end. A vague wave behind him also made you realize that he had a tail. The kind you would usually put on the devil himself. Black, with the heart shape at the end and all. Other than that, the guy looked pretty normal and not to mention incredibly familiar. His green hair contrasted awfully well with his light olive-green eyes.
A wide but friendly smirk stretched on his lips, giving you a peak of how inhumanely sharp his canines were. In that sweet and amazingly androgynous voice of his, he spoke.
"Hey."

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons.
