[Wednesday later joins Enid outside and sees her painting on a boat with another student. Enid realizes Wednesday is there and does a happy jump towards her]
Enid: Wanna take a STAB at being social?
Wednesday: ... I DO like stabbing.
Enid: Well your in luck! Bianca Barclay, the Queen Bee, is practicing sword fighting if you wanna gear up and join.
Wednesday: Take me to her.
[Wednesday is all geared up in black sword fighting gear, slowly walking towards the Queen Bee]
Wednesday: You must be the self appointed Queen Bee?
[Bianca smiles and nods her head]
Wednesday: Interesting thing about bees. Pull out their stingers and they drop dead.
[Bianca gives Wednesday a confused look and looks to Enid]
Enid: What she means IS. She would like to test your skills.
Wednesday: Or are you too scared?
[They then get into fighting position and Enid gets out of the way and watches from the other side]
Bianca: So no mask?
Wednesday: Are you to scared I might-
[Before Wednesday could finish, Bianca takes the mask off and throws it to Enid]
Enid: Umm. Are you sure about this?
[Wednesday then quickly goes for Bianca, and blocks Wednesdays attack]
Bianca: You're very quick.
Wednesday: That was just a warm up.
[Wednesday moves the sword much quicker than before tricks Bianca by spinning the sword around and making a false attack, then hits her arm with the sword]
Bianca: Smart. One to zero.
Wednesday: I can count. But thank you for reminding me that you're losing.
[Bianca starts thr attack this time but goes for Wednesdays leg and Wednesday jumps up to dodge and kicks Biancas sword out of her hand]
Bianca: So one sword wasn't good enough?
Wednesday: I can go with none.
[Wednesday then puts the swords down and turns it into a fist fight]

Bianca: What a twist. I like it.
Enid: Hold on, WHAT!?
[Bianca tryes to start off with a kick which Wednesday blocks. Wednesday then goes for a side kick that Bianca catches, then Wednesday jumps up with her other leg and kicks Bianca in the chest, which causes Bianca to let go and get pushed backwards a few steps]
Enid: OH MY GOD! That. Was. SO COOL WEDNESDAY!
Bianca: You're good. And you beat me fair and square.
[Bianca holds out her hand for a handshake]
Enid: Oh um, she doesn't like that.
Wednesday: If I was a plant, I'd be a cactus because I don't like to be touched. And because whoever touches me will bleed.
Bianca: Well I guess this makes us rivals? I'm looking forward to spar with you again.
Wednesday: Gladly... I like to see people in pain.
[Enid and Wednesday proceed to walk out, where Enid gives Wednesday a big hug]
Wednesday: Wha- hm!?
Enid: I know you said you're a cactus but your a pillow to me.
Wednesday: You're my light to my darkness.
Enid: Then your my darkness to my light.
[They both hold hands as they walk back up to their dorm]

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

Decompose!
Dear diary. When you read stories about some people missing and returning after years of absence claiming they were living in another world, your first reaction is to scoff and dismiss a story as a tall tale, right? I know I did. All the time. Until it happened to me and I no longer did. That day was today. Some god of thunder smote me. If it were Chris Hemsworth, I wouldn't mind but it was some barbaric Hitite god that abaondned Earth some four millennia ago. Yes, what can I say? I love the seventh art. I have more hours watching movies than any other activity, including sleep. What? Do you think I'm exaggerating? Maybe I am. I'll really miss hollywood the most. And my biggest regret is that I never got to visit the holy city of cinema. I did not come to another world to be a hero even though there was hints that they hoped I'd save it. I did not come with overpowered abilities able to, dunno, leap tall castles in a single bound, faster than a speeding crossbow bolt, be more powerful than a eight-horse carriage, the bounds. No. After the asshole god that murdered me brought me to his world, he gave me some boons from his discount bin and "The Power of my Soul (tm)". Forgive my french, I hope you understand I am rather upset at dying. And he somehow decided that my power is to recycle stuff. How awesome is that? Not much at first, I must admit. At least I got all my camping stuff and equipment with me. There's no lycra in the other world. I'll make it someday, but that day is not today. So here I am. In another world, in the middle of nowhere. I'm no heroine. As the song goes, I'm your basic average girl. And I'm assumed to be here to save the world. But almost everything can stop me, because I'm not named Kim. Wish me luck, diary. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This novel is going have the following features: slow-paced slice-of-life No GameLit / LitRPG elements. Movie references. Sandra likes the seventh art. Journal / diary style crafting (includes chemistry, engineering and metallurgy) low magic technological advancement (for Sandra, at least. She is not against sharing though) personal relations clash of perception between the modern and ancient customs. bits of tension, fighting, and plot here and there. I won't repeat myself though. Once she crafts a good batch of soap, for example, she'll just note, "I crafted soap again." Once it is estabilished how she obtains compound X, compound X2 that is obtainable from the same process will also just be mentioned. I'll try to be as realistic as I can with the crafting, chemistry, and technology. Cover: Public Domain Image by StockSnap from Pixabay. No attribution required but we do it anyway.
