Doctor: ALRIGHT! Looks like you guys are all set and ready to go. Her breathing is strong enough and her throat isn't swelling anymore but we're going to give you an inhaler just in case.
Enid: Okay! Thank you sir!
Wednesday: An INHALER!?
Doctor: Yep.
Wednesday: Nope.
Enid: Don't mind her. I'll get her to use it... Eventually.
Doctor: Alright! Let me just get that and you'll be free to go.
[The doctor leaves the room]
Wednesday: Lets ditch.
Enid: Uh- NO!
Wednesday: Yes... NOW.
Enid: Nope. NOPE, not doing it.
Wednesday: Fine. Then I'll leave without you.
[As Wednesday is about to open the door to leave the Doctor comes back in with the inhaler]
Doctor: OH! Didn't see you there. You scared me.
[Wednesday gives him a death stare and pushes past him and starts walking out]
Enid: Oh! I'll take that from you [ Nervous laugh]... Bye.
[Enid chases Wednesday out and catches up with her]
Enid: Uh, Wednesday? You DO know we need someone to drive us back, right?
Wednesday: Well. it's only a 30 minute walk. 20 if we run.
Enid: I can't believe you made us walk all the way back.
Wednesday: You're still alive arn't you.
Enids: Well. Yeah, but barely.
Wednesday: Good, You're still with me.
Enid: And the FACT that your whole incident happened on a WEDNESDAY.
Wednesday: Great, I feel more targeted. And I BET it was that Queen Bee.
Enid: Bianca? No. She couldn't have. What makes you think that.
Wednesday: Believe me. Losers HATE losing. She planned this. Either her or the principal.
Enid: What?
Wednesday: She definitely saw through our lies. Well. Your lies.
Enid: When we asked to scare in the haunted house?
Wednesday: Yes. You were shivering like a wet dog in the winter. Considering you ARE a werewolf.

Enid: Hey!
Wednesday: Theres a dance on tomorrow, right?
Enid: I'm pretty sure. Yes.
Wednesday: And EVERYONE'S gonna be there? INCLUDING the principal?
Enid: Where are you going with this?
Wednesday: We find a way to get revenge on the principal AND Bianca. THEN, we get them to admit what they did to me.
Enid: We'll get expelled.
Wednesday: Good. I never liked it here. I was plotting my escape the second I got here.
Enid: Wednesday, I don't know.
Wednesday: I swear, if you bail on me or TELL ANYONE what I'm about to do tomorrow, I WILL take all your stuffed animals and BURN them in front of you.
Enid: OKAY jeez!
Wednesday: Good. And this starts NOW.

Though I'm sure nobody cares, the intent behind this story was focused on creating a more or less logical cultivation system. I read several stories where the mc transmigrated to a cultivation world (not calling names to avoid unnecessary angst) and was able to completely break the cultivation system and the logic of the world because they had the power of science on their side and were able to think more logically than everybody else. Despite the fact that some characters in those stories were older than the scientific method of thinking and even the human civilization as we know it and the whole society was older than our human race. So I decided to write a story where things about cultivation make sense (as far as a magical world full of super magical people can make sense), so here we are. I don't know if I will be able to fulfil this purpose but I hope that the story will end up enjoyable. Can also be considered a prequel for my other story "Wasn’t my new life in a magical world supposed to be easy?" but has very little overlapping content and can be read as a stand alone story.
