"Also, Claire said to open that window if we need anything" Gray informed me. I nodded and glanced at the door. Zach then reached down and held his hand out, I grabbed it back and smiled.

"Umm nothings getting in here right?" Gray asked a little scared.

"Don't worry, if it does you have me with you, I've been raised around dinosaurs and have a connection with them" I stated, trying to make him feel better. He nodded in response.

"What do you mean you have a connection with the dinosaurs?" He asked curiously.

"I don't really know how to explain it but I know what their thinking, I can't actually hear them say it, it's more of an instinct and they feel the same towards me" I told him making his eyes glow with excitement, causing me giggle.

"How did you find that out?" He asked in an excited tone.

"I'm glad I found something to keep him busy" I thought.

"When I was two I snuck off from my dad, Barry and Hoskins because they were boring me, so I went up to the Raptors cage and leaned my hand in. Instead of tearing me to shreds they let me pat them, enjoying it, they actually melted into my touch. Dad, Barry and Hoskins then came around the corner and stood there shocked that I wasn't dead" I said, living the moment in my mind again and smiling.

"Wow, your so coool" Gray said excited. I laughed and smiled at him.

"Thank you" I smiled, leaning in a little.

"You wanna know something else" I whispered, peaking his interest.

"I also helped train the T-Rex, I call her Rexy" I told him. It was like his eyes were going to pop out of his skull, it was so adorable.

"Woah that's AMAZING!" He yelled enthusiastically.

"Hey are you guys okay back there?" Claire asked, moving the window thing.

"Yeah, I'm just telling him about the dinosaurs I train with" I smiled at her.

"Oh okay, I thought something was wrong" she sighed.

"Nah, sorry" I apologised for scaring her considering she's in a pretty bad state at the moment.

"It's alright, I'm glad your all getting along" she smiled, closing the window again.

I listened to her conversation with Gray, talking about her connection with the dinosaurs and which ones she's trained.

"She's amazing" I sighed inwardly, admiring her features as she told her story. Her smile was absolutely beautiful, it made me smile and I don't do that often.

"You alright Zach?" Gray asked suddenly making me snap out of my daydream.

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine" I stuttered trying not to make it obvious I was staring, a light blush covering my cheeks.

"You sure?" She asked worried, leaning up and touching my cheek. "Your hot" she said in a daze, her words made my blush intensify.

"Oh my god no I didn't, I mean, you felt hot not-" I cut off her adorable rambling with a laugh.

"It's for I know what you meant, I'm fine, just a little hot in here" I said, recovering nicely. She nodded flustered and tucked a strand of her (h/l) (h/c) hair behind her ear.

"I wish I could do that" I sighed mentally.

Wow (Y/n) is so cool, I wish she could come back with us, I love her so much, like a sister I never knew I needed. I then noticed Zac staring at her, like he did with the other girls from earlier. Now that he broke up with his girlfriend he's been staring at everyone.

"You alright Zach?" I asked

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine" he stuttered, a bit of pink on his cheeks.

"You sure?" (Y/n) asked worried, leaning up and touching his cheek. "Your hot" she said in a daze, her words made Zach's cheeks red.

"Oh my god no I didn't, I mean, you felt hot not-" he cut off her talking with a laugh.

"Its alright I know what you meant, I'm fine, just a little hot in here" he said. She nodded flustered and tucked a strand of her (h/l) (h/c) hair behind her ear. I then picked up on their behaviour.

"They like each other" I thought, smirking inwardly. "I hope they get together, then (Y/n) can live with us and tell us more stories" I smiled.

After that awkward conversation I stared back at the door, sighing and thinking about the Raptors again. I heard the noise indicating the gate was opened and bikes zooming past.

"It's starting. Please be careful dad" I thought, trying to remain calm. I then had an idea. I tapped Zach and Gray's shoulders, pointing to the window. I opened it wide enough for the three off is too look out and saw Claire watching the cameras. I saw dad riding along side the Raptors.

"Your boyfriends a badass" Zach said to Claire, turning to me. "And your dad" I smirked and nodded while Claire smiled.

"There slowing down" I said, pointing to the screen. "They have something"

"You know what no no no you guys are not going to watch this" Claire said, closing the window.

"Hey woman I saved your ass countless times what do you-" I was cut off by the window closing. I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest. "That's unfair, there my Raptors too and my dads out there, I have a right to watch" I sighed.

"Hey they'll be alright" Zach said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"What if they won't, there going up against a new species of dinosaur and they don't even know what it is" I said glumly. He gently grabbed my shoulders and looked into my eyes.

"Your dad will be alright, he's a total badass remember" he smiled, making me feel better. "And so are you. I've never met someone as awesome as you, and that's without the whole dinosaur trainer thing" he reassured with a big smile.

"Thanks" I smiled sheepishly and kissed his cheek without thinking. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't-" he cut me off with a smile.

"It's okay, I don't mind, really" he reassured, blushing a little. I nodded and opened the window again to see everyone getting slaughtered by the Raptors.

"Oh fuck" I mumbled.

"Are they all dead?" Gray asked scared.

"No no no no everyone is fine" Claire said.

"Don't lie to him" Zach snapped and I nodded in agreement.

"He's scared it's okay to lie to people wen their scared" she snapped back.

"I wanna go home" Gray said, on the verge of tears.

"Oh sweetheart you will Okay I promise. Tomorrow you will be home and, your mother will never, let me see you again" she sighed. I kind of felt bad for her. I then saw a guys covered in blood bang on Claire's window, making her scream and I closed the window. The man came around and opened the doors to the truck as it started moving. He was then pounced on by Charlie (?) and torn to pieces. I held Gray close and watched.

"Just hold on back there!" Claire yelled, hitting the window. It was followed by glass shattering and a scream, I'm guessing one of the Raptors broke through her window.

"Why are they doing this?" I asked myself.

"I thought they were tame" Zach said.

"Not really but I never imagined they'd do this, something's wrong" I sighed, thinking. Then it all pieces together. "Oh my god the Indominous Rex is part Raptor" I sighed in disbelief and saw both Charlie and Delta running at us, I had to think fast. Zach stood up and grabbed a gas cylinder, rolling it out of the truck, though it didn't do much. I then noticed the tasers on a rack next to me and smirked, grabbing one and walking to the opening of the truck as Charlie advanced. I held it out and zapped her, causing her to fall back.

"Sorry baby!" I yelled, feeling bad.

"Are you guys okay!?" Claire asked.

"Hey! Did you see that?" Zach said, pumped with adrenaline.

"I can't wait to tell mum" Gray said excited. Oh such an innocent child.

"Oh please no don't tell your mother about that, ever" she said panicked making me snort. I then heard bike revs and saw dad advancing.

"Dad! Dad!" I said excited.

"Owen! Owen!" The boys chanted at the same time as me. He then smiled and moved around to Claire's window. I sighed in relief and slid down the wall in the truck.

"Holy fuck this has been a long day" I sighed in exhaustion.
