《Show Me The Stars (Anakin x Reader)》Chapter 1

I walked through the garden watering my flowers. My favorites were the yellow roses. The air smelled of summer rain, since it rained last night. All of the grass was still damp. My bare feet felt cold against the pavement. I breathed in the fresh air, enjoying the free time I had. Wait. Scratch that. I always have free time. It's my sister who always has things to do.
"(Y/n)!" I hear a faint voice call me.
"(Y/n)!" Padme. I gracefully maneuver my feet through the garden, smiling as my (h/c) long hair flowed behind me in the wind. I run to the palace, seeing Padme on the terrace, waiting for me.
"Yes sister?" I asked.
"Tonight is my free night. I was wondering if you would like to go to the lake with me?" Padme asked. We always went to the beach when we were kids. I would love to feel the sun on my skin, and feel the soft sand between my toes.
"Yes! I would love to! When are we leaving?" I said.
"Right now of course! Now go get something to swim in!" She said. I ran to my room. I put on my bikini and threw over my casual gown. I am very self conscious. I put a crown of yellow roses in my hair, and headed out. Padme wore a see through gown showing her own bikini.
"Let's go!" she said. We walked down to the lake, the breeze blowing through the leaves. Padme immediately took off her dress and hopped in the water.
"Come on, (y/n)! The water is amazing!" She said.
"No thanks, I'd rather just bask in the sun." I said sitting in the sand. Digging my feet in the sand. Padme walked out of the water and sat next to me.

"What? Are you like self conscious of something?" Padme asked. I turned my head to the water, watching the waves crash onto the sand.
"Are you serious! You're gorgeous. Plus it's just me and you." She said
"Easy for you to say! You have the perfect body!" I said gesturing her thin curves.
"(Y/n), you don't need to look like..." She stopped, staring in the distance.
"What?" I said turning around. I saw it. A human figure standing in the distance. Padme stood up.
"Hello? Who's there?!" This is a private beach, so no one should be there. He got into clear sight and pulled out a gun.
"Run Padme!" I grabbed her hand. I pulled her out of the way, just as a shot was fired. We ran to the woods, and ended up at a cross roads.
"Go left!" She said 20 feet from the crossroads. I was a bit ahead of her (being experienced with bare feet and all) and the a shot flew past my left side. This made me turn right. I ran and ended up at a dead end.
"Oh no..." I whispered under my heavy breathing. I clawed at the stone wall in front of me. That's when I heard slow foot steps coming behind me. I turned to see a man in a metal suit. I had no idea who it was, but I examined him fully, making sure I remembered what he looked like. He held up his gun, pointing it at me. I breathed through my nose heavily. I held my head high ready to die. I let go of what I thought my last breath with my eyes closed. I heard a shot, but only a sharp pain in my shoulder.I opened my eyes to Padme with a huge stick in her hands. She must have hit him in the head. I cried out in pain.

"Oh my gosh (y/n)! Your shoulder! We have to leave before he wakes up!" Padme said. She grabbed my hands and pulled me back to the palace.

Malheur aux vaincus - Short stories
I am a reader, not a writer. But in the spirit of contributing to the trove of texts present here, I hope to share some short stories that I wrote: two in French in a Roman Fantasy setting ; and the rest in English: one inspired by manichean webnovels, another one... difficult to classify as a fiction, a little flight of fancy about the 'What if?' game, and last even two poems.
