Diiiiiiinggg
"Oy, bell! I haven't even finished breakfast!" Cecil's voice rang out after the bell. He proceeded to stuff his face with the pancakes, egg, fruit and bacon.
"You never finish Cecil." Lou pointed out.
"I'm leaving." Reyna got up quickly and didn't look Lou in the eyes. "See you later Will, Cecil, Lou."
"See ya, Your Majesty." Lou said.
Reyna didn't mind the nickname and they all liked calling her that so it worked out. But right now, she was angry, and for some reason, that caused her to glare at Lou for calling her that. But she didn't notice, she was busy picking up her stuff or not looking at her either. Will decided not to say anything and Reyna practically ran upstairs to class.
When Will turned to get up, he noticed a confused Cecil and Lou with a guilty look in her eyes. Seriously. What was going on? Did everyone wake up on the wrong side of the bed today? Something happened that Will didn't know about but he knew he couldn't find out what it was now. He had to wait until later, after classes or maybe during lunch. He could try to go for it when everyone was calm. He only hoped someone hadn't done something bad to another. Maybe Cecil had pulled another prank and angered Reyna. It was really common for him to do that. He was a troublemaker, that one. But they were friends and they didn't mind it, usually.
Well for now, Will ignored it and focused on making Cecil hurry up. So he took his orange juice to make him follow him and leave. When Will turned around he saw Lou had grabbed a random passerby, also known as Katie Gardner and they were talking in hushed tones. Will couldn't hear what they were saying, hopefully, it wasn't anything bad.
"Fuck you Will! Give me my juice!" Cecil chased after Will as he fast walked out of the dining room. Cecil was having trouble catching up since he still held on to his plate full of breakfast food.
Will turned and walked backwards, "Then hurry up Cecil! I don't wanna be late to class! First period is my favourite!"

Cecil harrumphed as he finally stuffed the last of his food in his mouth and ran to catch up.
As Will was turning forward again, he caught sight of the Italian boy by the name of Nico di Angelo. He had to go over there. First period be damned. When Cecil finally came up beside him, he shoved his juice in his hand and managed not to splash it, all the while he continued to stare at the emo boy. None of the others seemed to notice what he was doing, "Go on without me, I'm still hungry."
"Weren't you just saying you didn't want to be late to your oh so precious favourite first period class?"
"I changed my mind. The food looks really good, especially because I'm hungry." Will started to walk towards Nico di Angelo.
Finally, Cecil seemed to notice his interest in the new student and smirked, "I see. Well I'll see you in class. After your meal."
Will stopped on his way, "No need to make it sound dirty, Cecil."
“There is every need, especially because you just saw a guy and you—”
“Go to class Cecil, jeez.” Blushing, he turned back to Nico di Angelo as Cecil smirked and left.
The whole time he'd been talking with Cecil, Nico didn't even hint at knowing they were there. And they had been the only ones left in the dining room. He had to have realized they were there, but the closer Will got to him, the clearer the details were and he realized he had earphones in. And they were loud. When he was practically behind him, he could hear I Slept With Someone in Fall Out Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me by Fall Out Boy sounding through the quiet room. Will couldn't wait to talk to him. Will listened to everything. From classical to metal. He didn't discriminate music. Music was basically half of Will's soul. And when he walked to sit across from the guy, he stopped eating and stared at Will. His chocolate eyes pierced his own with intensity. Nico raised a brow.
"If I'm right, your name is Nico?" Nico wore one of those black leather jackets with a gray hoodie underneath, it wasn't zipped to cover up an all black T-shirt with a skull smack in the middle. Ripped blue jeans, and all black converse.

Nico di Angelo tore out an earphone and glared at him, "Why?"
Will was a little surprised he'd been able to hear him over the high volume of the music.
"Er..." He couldn't exactly tell him he found him fascinating and there was just something that pulled him toward him and he had to get to know him. "I thought you'd like some company on your first day here."
"No thank you. I don't like people." His glare didn't waver for a second.
But that didn't faze Will. He thought the glare was a form of self defense. "Well I won't be people, we'll be friends." His voice echoed throughout the dining hall and it reminded him of the music Nico had been listening to. So he liked Fall Out Boy...
"I don't need friends." He grabbed his plate and got up, heading for another table.
Will followed suit, minus the plate thing, he had no other food. "No, no, no, we're gonna be friends."
"No, we're not." Nico sat at another table but Will sat next to him this time.
Will decided to change the subject, they would be best friends. Wait...did he say best? Well, they would be. "So you like Fall Out Boy?"
Nico didn't look up from his food, "Go away."
Will ignored the comment but rolled his eyes and smiled, "What's your favorite song by them? I'd have to say mine is Chicago is So Two Years Ago but then Young Volcanoes could be in a tie with it. They're both amazing pieces."
"I don't care."
"That one is awesome too. Then again, I like all music." He knew he hadn't meant I don't care as in the song but he needed something to work with. "Have you heard American Beauty/ American Psycho? It's freaking amazing."
"Why are you here? Really? Don't give me that 'I thought you'd need a friend' bullshit."
"Well, I came here when I was 12, my mom died and I never met my dad. I have a rich aunt as an only relative and she hated my mom, just because my dad left us, so she dumped me here. I haven't heard from her in the 5 years since she left me here." With that, Will shone his most dazzling smile.
Will thought Nico's eyes softened slightly but his hard expression took over it soon enough. "Just leave me alone."
"Not gonna happen, Sunshine."
"Don't call me Sunshine."
"I—"
"Ah, Will, I see you've met our new student. " Headmaster Zeus walked into the dining room and quickly reached their table.
"Yes Headmaster Zeus, and I thought I'd join him for breakfast."
"Nice of you to do so but shouldn't you be in class? Unless you got permission from one of the teachers or I?"
"Er... "
Will could tell Nico was holding back a triumphant smirk. It made him determined to stay with Nico the whole day if they'd let him.
Headmaster Zeus raised an eyebrow.
"I didn't think I needed permission to make a new friend and show him around the school on his first day."
"Go to class Will. I'll take care of it. All he needs is his schedule and room number and key." Headmaster Zeus had a hard look on his face.
Will stood anyway and faced him, "Well I'd be glad to show him where his classes and his room is."
Headmaster Zeus stared at Will for a few seconds before deciding, "Very well."
Nico sputtered when he tried to drink some of his orange juice. He sent Will a death glare.
"Here is Mr. di Angelo's schedule, as you know it includes his room number, "the headmaster handed him the schedule and key. "And that is the key. If you need anything, don't hesitate to bring it up to Ms. Athena." He walked away.
Will turned back to Nico, smiling, "Guess I'll be your tour guide."
Nico only glared at him.
What a nice guy he is, was Will's thought as Nico finished his food and tried to go on without him.
"Wait up will you?" Will ran after him.

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!
