~Graveyard~
"They buried the body four days ago."
"I don't get it." Sam shown a light in the coffin, seeing a carving into the inside of the coffin. "Look."
"What is it?" Dean asked.
"I'm not sure."
"I've seen these kind of symbols before." (M/n) said.
~Dr. Mason's House~
Dean pounds heavily on the door. He was very agitated.
"Dean. Take it easy, okay?"
Dr. Mason opens the door. "You're Angie's friends, right?"
"Dr. Mason." The youngest said gently.
"We need to talk." The oldest said harshly.
"Well, then, come in."
"Thanks."
~Later~
"You teach Ancient Greek. Tell me-" He unwrapped a paper. "What are these?"
"I don't understand. You said this had something to do with Angela."
"It does. Please, just humor me."
"They're part of an ancient Greek divination ritual."
"Used for necromancy, right?"
"Dean." (M/n) said softly, getting ignored.
"That's right."
"See, before we came over here, we stopped by the library and did a little homework ourselves. Apparently they used rituals like this one for communicating with the dead. Even bringing corpses back to life. Full-on zombie action."
"Dean."
"Yes. I mean, according to the legends. Now, what's all this about?"
Sam was watching Dr.Mason's face, having a bit of doubts. Dean pushed on.
"I think you know."
"Dean." The demon was getting louder.
"Look, I get it. Okay? There are people that I would give anything to see again. But what gives you the right?"
"Dean!"
"What are you talking about?" The man asked.
"What's dead should stay dead!"
"What!?"
"Stop it!" The demon gripped the older Winchesters arm. But the male kept going.
"What you brought back isn't even your daughter anymore. These things are vicious, they're violent, they're nasty they rot the ground around them. I mean, come on, haven't you seen Pet Semetery?"

"You're insane."
"Where is she?"
"Get out of my house." He started dialing the phone, but Dean knocked it out of his hand.
"I know you're hiding her somewhere. Where is she!?"
"Dean! Stop, that's enough! Look!" (M/n) grabs his jacket and points to a row of plants by the window. "Living plants." He turned to Mason. "We're leaving."
"I'm calling the police."
Dean pulled out of the boys grip and storms out the door.
"Sir, we're sorry. We wont bother you again." Sam assured, and the remaining two left.
~Sidewalk~
Dean was striding down the steps and along the sidewalk, Sam hot on his heels.
"What the hell is the matter with you, Dean?" Sam asked.
"Back off."
"That man is innocent! He didn't deserve that!"
"Okay, so she's not here, maybe he's keeping her somewhere else."
"Stop it! That's enough, okay? Enough!"
"Sam, I know what I'm doing."
"No, you don't. At all. Dean, I don't scare easy, but man, you're scaring the crap out of me."
"Don't be overdramatic, Sam."
"You're lucky this turned out to be a real case. Because if it wasn't, you would have just found something else to kill."
"Wha-"
"You're on edge, you're erratic, except for when you're hunting, because you're downright scary. You're tail spinning, man. And you refuse to talk about it and you won't let me help you."
"I can take care of myself, thanks."
"No, you can't. And you know what? You're the only one who thinks you should have to. You don't have to handle this on your own, Dean, no one can."
"Sam, if you bring up dad's death one more time I swear..."
"Stop. Please, Dean, it's killing you." He stopped by a hand on his arm.
"Don't, let him go. It'll be fine." (M/n) said softly. Sam watched Dean walk away, and sighed.
~At a park~
Sam and (M/n) were sitting at a bench.

"I don't wanna lose him, man. He's all I got left." The younger Winchester explained.
"I know. Trust me, I don't wanna lose him either. Just let him be for now. The more you nag him, the more you make it worse."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Look. Once I used to have a friend after I lost Lucifer. Said what I was doing to avenge him was wrong, that I was being stupid. That I was going insane."
"What happened after that?"
"I killed him, all he did was nag and nag and nag. He was really annoying. See, I'm telling you this cuz one day Dean might go insane and kill you. And I don't want that to happen. Even though you don't like me." Sam looked down. "You might think I'm dangerous, and you might be right. But what makes you think you're any different from me?"
"Well, I don't-"
"Don't you dare say you don't kill innocents. Cuz one day you will. And you wont even know. Hunters aren't any different then us demons. Killing without thinking. Just look at your father. He was a crazed man who wanted to kill the thing that hurt your mother. And look where it got him. You're falling down that same path. Wanting to kill yellow eyes. To get yourself killed for it. The only thing between me and you is that you die a lot more easily then I do."
~Motel Room~
Dean was pacing. Sam was sitting on the bed with their fathers journal, (M/n) was looking on Dean's phone.
"We can't just waste it with a head shot?"
"Dude. You've been watching way too many Romero flicks."
"You're telling me there's no lore on how to smoke 'em." He sat on a table by the window.
"No, Dean, I'm telling you there's too much. I mean, there's a hundred different legends on the walking dead, but they all have different methods of killing them." He joins his brother at the table. "Some say, setting them on fire, uh, one said, where is it? Right here. Feeding their hearts to wild dogs. That's my personal favorite. I mean, who knows whats real and what's myth." Sam explained.
"Is there anything in common?"
"No. But a few said silver may work."
"Silver's a start."
"Yeah, But now how are we going to find Angela?"
"Easy." The boys looked at the demon, who was smirking back at them.
~Neil's house~
The boys break in.
"Hello? Neil?! It's your grief counselors, we've come to hug." (M/n) chimed.
Dean pulled out a gun. They start stalking through the house. (M/n) in lead. They see wilted plants by a window. They find the entrance to the basement. Sam opened the door and Dean lead the at down the stairs to a room. It is empty.
"Sure looks like a zombie pen to me." Dean commented.
"Yeah. An empty one. You think Angela's going after somebody?"
(M/n) found a loose grate and pulls it aside, it lead to somewhere.
"Shit." The boy grabbed Dean's gun and disappeared. Leaving the two to look at each other.
~Angela's House~
Lindsey was sitting in the dim house, looking at a framed picture of Matt and Angela. She heard a noise, got up and goes to the front door.
"Hello?"
She opens the door, sees nothing. She turns, and Angela is there. She grabs Lindsey by the hair, she screams.
"Hi honey, I'm home!"
Lindsey breaks away from Angela, screaming still. She runs into the kitchen. Angela picks up a pair of scissors from the counter.
"You know what you did!"
"I'm sorry. I am so, so-"
"You're not sorry enough!" Angela stabs with the scissors, Lindsey ducks. They fight for a bit. Angela got ready to stab Lindsey with the scissors, when several shots are fired and Angela convulsed. She screamed and bolts out the window. Dean and Sam ran in to make sure Lindsey was ok. (M/n) bolted after the dead girl, only to come back.
"Damn, that dead chick can run." He panted.
"What now?"
"We find Neil and end it."

System Change
Years ago, Earth was indoctrinated into the "System." Earth was not the only place with the System, however. With the System came the other races, Invaders. The Invaders had one goal, to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. This created a bloodbath, and for years the war raged. This didn't really have much to do with Derek. Derek was kind of a loner. Yeah, he enjoyed the occasional chat or drink with others, but he never stayed in one place too long or really got to know anybody new. Derek did happen to be rather strong. After the years of fighting monster and Invaders alone, he had become quite adept at surviving. One thing that helped keep him alive was his refusal to get involved with others. He rarely cooperated with teams. One day, Derek broke his rules and decided to lend some help, as the mission didn't seem too hard. He should have stuck to being alone. Hey everyone, this is my fiction, "System Change." It's the first time I've really tried to write a serial. All feedback is really appreciated. I plan to release chapters every Tuesday and Thursday. With occasional extra chapters being released. I will try to maintain a word count between 1500-2500 words per chapter. Thank you! I just made a Discord if anyone wants to join.

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. The average chapter will be 2-5k words long, most being around 3k but there are a few less than 1k, due to the nature of the story telling device I used. Book 1 is complete. Posting is on hold until I finish book 2. Book 2 progress: The rough draft is done at 141656 words as of 7/9/2022. I need to reread and edit it but Im aiming for resuming chapters in September.

Incursions
This blurb concerns Incursions book 1: Incarceration. If you could buy superhuman abilities, but they might kill you—or worse—would you do it? Ten years ago, in a world not so different from our own, people with powerful abilities appeared. The new powers were dangerous, dangerous to acquire—dangerous to have—dangerous to wield. World governments raced to find and eradicate the abilities and those who possess them while using the media to rule by fear. Whereas corporations sought to exploit the abilities for profit. Raz Owens was living the dream - a rising star at a job he enjoys, a girlfriend he loves, but it all comes crashing down when Raz disregards his late father's advice. He is pulled into a chaotic underworld of clandestine labs, shadow organizations, and super-powered criminals. Used as a human test subject in a place where few survive the day, he must last long enough to escape. His only advantage? A power that seems nearly useless—a heads-up display. Contains: monsters, violence, death, dismemberment, gamelit, superpowers, superpower consequences, good guys, bad guys, good guys who might be bad guys, bad guys who think they are good guys, good guys that might go bad, bad guys that might turn good, guns for hire, competence, incompetence, continence, incontinence, conspiracies, and some of what I just said wasn't true. This story is written in third person limited POV. That means you can expect to know many of the thoughts and inner dialog of one character, and only see the actions of other characters. This POV does include scenes without the main character, and thus the reader can and will know things the main character does not. Further, this means characters act on what they know, which is almost always less than the reader knows. Something else to know. These books do not hold your hand. If you're reading it and thinking "Gosh, why aren't 'they' doing some 'obvious' thing." Bad news. You probably missed something that explains exactly that. If you're seeking a light read that doesn't ask much of you as the reader, you're invited and very welcome to come on in, but this might not be the story for you.

The Joker, The Trickster, and the Magician
Wolfram Sakimoto, an infamous criminal, was about to be executed in a secret military facility only to survive by a sudden earthquake that struck the whole world and turned it upside down. With the appearance of strange and absurdly powerful monsters, humans started their final struggle to survive this tragic calamity. Wolfram, however, found joy and not despair in this drastic change. A lunatic on the loose, without any morals to uphold, only his thirst to battle the strongest. PS: This story has a relation with RE;Hell Gate and Once Human, Now a Parasite. The Protagonist is eccentric, to say the least, so don't expect any heroic dude. He can be a madman and a hypocrite, if that is not to your taste, then this isn't a story for you.

Lost souls: Road to Godhood (Isekai) [Writathon Participant]
In a world where mages stand above nobles and even the law, it's not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Luz and his brothers are no different. However, their peaceful lives are shattered when a dragon attacks their village. Left with no choice, Luz uses a forbidden spatial spell to save his brothers. The consequences are not pretty--he and his brothers are scattered across different realms. Luz will have to travel to places unknown to reunite his family and gain enough power to take vengeance on the dragon. Armed with a single spell that he can only cast once before his magic reserves are depleted, Luz has his work cut out for him. Being the oldest is never easy. Author note: Please be warned as the book won't be what you might expect since the early chapters of my work are more of a slice of life of an MC, trying to adjust to his new life rather than slaying monsters left and right from the get-go with accelerated growth cheat and missions given by a goddamn system that forges your path, since everyone knows: an MC needs a system that tells one how to move forward. That was a long sentence. Also, some of you might consider my chapter titles as clickbaity, while others like me might consider them: not boring titles, hehehe.

"Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story
As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them. This is a stand-alone sequel to my story "Druids Bane".
