~Crossroads~
"So, it's just like the Robert Johnson legend, right? I mena, selling your soul at the crossroads, kind of deal?"
"Yeah, except that wasnt a legend. I mean, you know his music." Sam shrugged. "You dont know Robert Johnson's songs? Sam, there's accult references all over his lyrics, I mean, Crossroad Blues? Me and the Devil Blues? Hellhound on My Trail?" Sam frowned and Dean rolled his eyes. "The story goes, he died choking on his own blood, he was hallucinating, and mutering about big evil dogs."
"And now it's happening all over again."
"Yeah."
"We;ve gotta figure out if anyone else struck any bargains around here."
"Great. So we've gotts clean up these peoples' mess for 'em? I mean, they're not exactly squeaky clean. Nobody forced these people to make a deal." (M/n) said.
"I'm with him." Dean said.
"So what, we should just leave them to die?"
"I say we forget this whole thing ever happened and just...walk away." The boy suggested.
"Dean, you not going with this."
He thought for a minute. "All right, fine. Rituals like this, you've got to out your own photo into the mix, right? So this guy probably summoned this thing, lets go and see if anyone inside know him. If he's still alive."
~Darrow House~
The boys were walking up a set of wide, wooden stairs to the fourth floor of an apartment building.
"What's this guys name?" The demon asked.
"George Darrow. A regular at Lloyd's."
"So whatever he made a deal on, it definantly wasnt for money. This place is not the best looking." (M/n) commented. ((My autocorrect stopped working, so i dont know if i'm spelling things right))
They reach the landing and stop in front of apartment 4C. The floor was dusted with a fine black powder.
"Look at that." Sam knelt down to look at it.
"Is that pepper?"
The door opened to reveal a middle aged man with graying hair, a grimy shirt that was open.
"Who the hell are you?" He asked.

"George Darrow?"
"I'm not buying anything."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, looks like you went for the wrong shaker there. Heh. Usually when you want to keep something evil out, you go for the salt." Dean told the man.
"I dont know what your talkin' about."
"Talkin' about this." (M/n) held up the picture. "Tell me. Senn your hound yet?"
"Look. We want to help. Please. Five minutes."
He let them in, pouring himself some whiskey and sits down. The stdio was filled with completed and half completed paintings. A table held painting supplies.
"So what is that stuff out front?" The youngest Winchester asked.
"Goofer Dust." The brothers looked at him blankly. "What, you boys think you know somethin' about somethin' but not Goofer dust?" He tossed Deab a brown sack, tied close with twine. He cathces it.
"Well, we know a little about alot of things. Just enough to make us dangerous." ((I have this on a shirt, but sadly its too small for me *cries*)) Dean said.
"What it is?"
"Hoodoo. My grandma taught me. Keeps out demons." Dean flickered his eyes to (M/n).
"Demons we know."
"Well, then. Maybe it'll do you some good. Four minutes left."
"Mr. Darrow. We know you're in trouble."
"Was it worth it?" The demon asked.
"Hell no. 'Course, i asked for talent. Shoulda gone for fame. I'm still broke, and lonely. Just now I got this pile of paintings don't nobody want. But that wasn't the worst."
"Go on."
"Demon didn't leave. I never counted on that. After our deal was done, the damn thing stayed at Lloyd's for a week. Just chattin'. Makin' more deals. I tried to warn folks, but, I mean who's goin' to listen to an old drunk?"
"How many others are there?"
"Uh, the architect, the doctor lady. I've kept with them in the papers. At least they got famous." George said.
"Who else? Come on, think."
"One more. Uh, nice guy, too. Hudson. Evan, i think. I dont know what he asked for. Dont matter now. We done for."
"No. No, there's gotta be a way."
"You don't get it! I don't want a way!" The man yelled.
"Look, you don't-"

"I called that thing! I brought it on myself. I brought in on them. I'm going to hell, one way or another. All i want to do is finish my last painting. A day or two, I'm done. Been keeping them off to buy alittle bit of time. Okay, boys. Your times up, go help someone that wants it."
"We can't just-"
"Get out! I got work to do."
"You don't really want to die."
"I don't? I'm...I'm tired." As they leave, George starts painting.
Sam was slammed against the wall, the smaller male was holding onto his collar.
"What the hell-"
"You need to get it through your thick skull that not everyone wants saved, Sam. Some dont wanna die, and some are ready too. Get your head out your ass before it gets you killed." (M/n) let the Winchester go and walked away.
"What's his deal?" Sam brushed himeself off.
"I dont know, but I'll find out, after we talk to Evan." Dean said.
~Evan's House~
Dean knocked on Evan's door, a moment later Evan opened the door.
"Yes?"
"Evan Hudson?" Sam asked.
"You ever been to a bar called Lloyd's? Would have been about ten years ago." Terrified, Evan slams the door and latches it.
"Come on, we're not demons! Atleast, two of us aren't." Dean mumbled.
"Any other bright ideas?" Sam asked. (M/n) kicked the door down with one swift kick. They entered. Outside the back room, Evan had entered, (M/n) was about to kick the door down, but Dean stopped him.
"What-" Dean backing him up and let Sam step in. He turns the handle and gently opened the door. The room was quiet, they entered.
"Evan?" Sam asked soflty.
"Please! Don't hurt me."
"We're not going to hurt you, all right? We're here to help you."
"We know all bout the genius deal you made." Dean said.
"What? How?" The boy asked.
"Doesn't matter. All that matters is, we're trying to stop it."
"How do I know you're not lying?"
"Well, you don't, but you're kinda running low on options there, buddy-boy."
Evan swallowed and started pacing. "Can you stop it?"
"We can try." (M/n) then said softly.
"I don't want to die."
"Of course you don't, not now."
"Dean. Stop." Sam said quietly.
"What'd you ask for anyway, Evan? Huh? Never need viagra? Bowl a perfect game? What?"
"My wife."
Dean laughed. "Right. Gettin' the girl. Well, that's worth a trip to hell for."
"Dean, stop."
"No. He's right, I made the deal. Nobody twisted my arm, that.....woman, or whatever she was, at the bar? She said I could have anything i wanted. I thought she was nuts at first, but...I don't know how to...I was desperate."
"Desperate?"
"Julie was dying."
"You did it to save her?"
"She had cancer, they'd stopped treatment, they were moving her into hospice, they kept saying...a matter of days. So yeah, I made the deal. And I'd do it again. I'd have died for her on the spot."
"Did you ever think about her in all this?" (M/n) asked.
"I did this for her."
(M/n) stepped closer to Evan. "You sure about that? I think you did iit for yourself. So you wouldn't have to live without her. But guess what? She's going to have to live without you now. But what if she knew how much it cost? What if she knew it cost your soul? How do you think she'd feel?"
Dean put a hand on the demon's chest, pulling him back. "Okay, that's enough. You gus sit tight, all right? I'm gonna talk to (M/n) real quick."
Dean pulled the boy out in the hallway. "You all right?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be? Hey, I got an idea. You throw that hoodoo dust at that Hellhound, keep it away from Evan as long as you can. I'm gonna go to the crossroads and summon the demon."
"Summon- are you crazy?"
"A little bit. But I can trap it. I can send it back to hell. And i can buy us time to figure out something more permanent." The demon said.
"Yeah, but how much?"
"Not sure. I mean, it's not easy getting out of hell for a normal crossroads demon."
"No. No, way"
"You're not allowed to say no, Dean. Unless you have a better idea."
"(M/n), forget it. I'm not letting you summon that demon."
"Why not?"
"Because, they can take you and kill you."
"I won't let that happen."
"Promise?" (M/n) kissed Dean on the lips, wrapping his arms around his neck. Dean put his hands on the males waist, pulling him closer. Two kissed deeply for a few minutes before pulling back. (M/n) smiled and walked away, leaving the Winchester to watch him leave.
