~In a Clinic~
It was all in slow motion. Dean was walking down a dim hallway, turning towards a door and pulled out a gun. He slide out the clip, taps it on the gun, then replaced it. Inside the room, there is a Crater Lake poster on the wall. Below it was a young blonde man tied to a chair. Nearby was a young woman, a middle-aged woman, and a tough-looking black man. The man in the chair looked up at the male as he opened the door and entered, raising the gun.
"No, no, no, no, no, you're not gonna...no, I swear! It's not in me!"
"Oh god. We're all gonna die."
"Maybe he's tellin' the truth."
"He's not him, not anymore." The Winchester cocked the gun.
"No, stop it! Stop it! Ask her, ask the doctor! It's not in me!"
"I just....I can't tell."
"No, please, don't. Don't. I swear, I-"
"I got no choice."
The man in the chair started to sob. "I swear, it's not in me, it's not in me!Don't, don't. Please!"
Dean fired twice.
~Motel Room~
Sam, who was laying on the floor beside a motel bed, was coming out of a vision. (M/n) sitting next to him, hand on his back. Dean came in, chewing on jerky and carrying a six-pack of beer. Sam sat up, panting.
"Sam?" Dean asked.
"No..."
~Road~
Dean was driving, Sam navigating with a GPS device which spoke directions.

"Continue on O-R Two-Two-Four West." The device said.
"There are only to towns in the US named Rivergrove."
"How come you're so sure it's the one in Oregon?" Dean asked his brother.
"There was a picture. Crater Lake."
"Okay, what else?"
"I saw a dark room, some people, and a guy tied to a chair."
"And I ventilated him?"
"Yeah. You thought there was something inside him."
"What, a demon? Was he possessed?"
"I don't know."
"Well, all your weirdo visions are always tied to the Yellow-Eyed Demon somehow....so was there any black smoke? Did we try to exorcise it?"
"No. Nothing, you just plugged him, that's it."
"We sure we wanna be going to the place it happened?" The demon in the back asked.
"Cuz whatever is going on, the guy in the chair's part of it. So let's find him, and see what's what."
"Alright." The boy just rolled his eyes.
~Rivergrove Street~
The three pulled into a town past a large billboard advertising Crater Lake. They pull up in front of a wooden shop, out front was an older man from Sam's vision, cleaning a riffle. He was wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt with a multi-pocket brown vest. The boys got out and approach the man.
"Mornin." Dean said.
"Good morning. Can I help you?"
"Yeah." Dean pulled out a badge. "Uh, Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, (random name), U.S. Marshals."
"What's this about?"
"We're looking for someone." (M/n) said.
"A young man, early twenties. He'd have a, a thin scar right below his hairline." The young Winchester explained.
"What's he do?"
"Well, nothing. We're actually looking for someone else, but we think this young man could help us."

"yeah, he's not in any kind of trouble or anything. Well, not yet." Dean looked downat the man's left arm, which had a tattoo. "I think maybe you know who he is....Master Sergeant." He smiled. "My dad was in the Corps, he was a Corporal."
"What company?"
"Echo-2-1."
"So, can you help us?"
The man hesitated. "Duane Tanner's got a scar like that. But I know him. Good kid, keeps his nose clean."
"Oh, I'm sure he does. Um. You know where he lives?"
"With his family, up Aspen Way."
"Thank you."
They left. THe man frowned as he watched them leave. Across the street, Sam bumped into a telephone pole and glances at it in passing. He stopped and looked at a word that was carved in the wood: CROATOAN.
Sam pointed at it. "Hey."
"Croatoan?" The demon asked.
"Yeah." The two other males looked at the youngest with a blank stare. "Roanoke? Lost colony? Ring a bell? Dean, did you even pay attention in history class?"
"Yeah! Shots heard 'round the world, how bills become laws."
"That's not school, that's Schoolhouse Rock."
"Whatever."
"(M/n)? Anything?" The demon shook his head. "Roanoke was one of the first English colonies in America, late 1500s?"
"Oh yeah, yeah, I remember that. The only thing they left behind was a single word carved in a tree."
"Yeah. And I mean, there were theories, Indian raid, disease, but nobody knows what really happened. They were all just gone. I mean, wiped out overnight."
"You don't think that's gonna happen here, I mean..."
"Whatever I saw in my head, it sure wasn't good. But what do you think could do that?" By the expression on the demons face, that was their answer.
"Nothing, Sam. I don't think this is tied to yellow-eyes."
"We should get help. Bobby, uh, Ellen maybe?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, that's a good idea." Dean pulled out his phone, no signal. Sam did the same and shook his head. Dean went to a pay phone, only to hear "out of service."
"Line's dead. I'll tell you one thing. If I was gonna massacre a town, that'd be my first step."
