DEJÁ VU
[ ☼ ]
Pastor is at his pulpit. He looks up when a wind ruffles his hair and the candles on the alter. Meg enters the chuch. "Good Morning. Can I help you?" The Pastor asks.
The Pastor comes down from the pulpit. Meg walks forward and sits in a pew. "I kinda...I need to talk." She says.
"Well that's what I'm here for." He says.
"I've done some things. Not good things." Meg says.
"Well there's always forgiveness for us if we seek it." Pastor says.
"For everyone? Are you sure?" Meg asks.
"I like to say salvation was created for sinners. Tell me what's on your mind." The Pastor says.
"Well. I've lied. A lot. I've stolen. I've lusted. And the other day I met this man. A nice guy, you know? We had a really good chat, sort of like this...then I slit his throat and ripped his heart out through his chest." Meg blinks and her eyes go black. The Pastor jerks back. "Does that make me a bad person?"
The Pastor backs away. "I know what you are. You can't be here. This is hallowed ground."
"Please. Maybe that works in the minor leagues. But not with me." Meg says.
The Pastor runs for the door behind the pulpit and down the stairs. He unlocks a door and rushes inside, sliding a ready to go barricade across the door. He turns to a well stocked hunter's chest of weapons and starts scrambling for something.
Meg kicks open the door with ease, breaking the wood barricading it. The Pastor starts, then throws a knife covered in Sigils at Meg's head. She catches it easily. "You throw like a girl." Meg says.
"What do you want." The Pastor says.
"The Winchesters."
"I haven't spoken to John Winchester in over a year. You're wasting your time. Even if I did know where they were, I'd never tell you." The Pastor says.
"I know." Meg slits his throat with his own knife and he falls back into a chair, gasping, then dying. Meg smiles and walks away.

he camera pans across a motel room and John's research. The walls are covered with information on the yellow eyed demon. Weather charts, hieroglyphics, pictures, newspaper articles, written notes, a shelf of books and more. John sits at a paper strewn desk, the Colt in front of him. Sam leans against the counter while Dean paces.
"So this is it. This is everything I know. Look, our whole lives we been searching for this demon right? Not a trace, just...nothing. Until about a year ago. For the first time I picked up a trail." John says.

"And that's when you took off." Dean says.
"Yeah. That's right. The demon must have come out of hiding, or hibernation." John says.
"All right so what's this trail you found?" Dean asks.
"It starts in Arizona, then New Jersey, California. Houses burned down to the ground. It's going after families, just like it went after us." John says.
"Families with infants?" Sam asks.
"Yeah. The night of the kid's six-month birthday." John says.
"I was six months old that night?" Sam asks.
"Exactly six months."
Sam adjusts his position. "So basically, this demon is going after these kids for some reason. The Same way it came for me? So Mom's death...Jessica. It's all because of me?" He asks.
"We don't know that Sam." Dean says.
"Oh really? Cause I'd say we're pretty damn sure Dean." Sam says.
Dean is now frustrated. "For the last time, what happened to them was not your fault." He says.
"Right. It's not my fault but it's my problem." Sam shouts.
"No it's not your problem it's our problem!" Dean yells back.
John stands up, ready to pry the brothers apart. "Okay. That's enough." He says. Everyone takes a breath and calms down.
"So why's he doing it. What does he want?" Sam asks.
"Look I wish I had more answers, I do. I've always been one step behind it. Look, I've never gotten there in time to save..." John looks down, unhappy.
"All right so how do we find it..before it hits again." Dean says.
"There's signs. It took me a while to see the pattern but it's there in the days before these fires signs crop up in an area. Cattle deaths, temperature fluctations, electrical storms. And then I went back and checked...and..." John starts.
"These things happened in Lawrence." Dean says.
John nods. "A week before your mother died. And in Palo Alto...before Jessica. And these signs, they're starting again." John says.
"Where." Sam asks.
"Salvation Iowa."
ohn's truck speeds along a misty road, followed closely by the Impala. After a few moments he pulls off to the side, the Impala follows and everyone springs out of their seats.
"God damn it!" John yells.
"What is it?" Dean asks.
"Son of a bitch." John continues.
"What is it!" Dean yells.
"I just got a call from Caleb." John says.
"Is he okay?" Dean asks.
"He's fine. Jim Murphy's dead."
"Pastor Jim? How?" Sam asks.
"His throat was slashed. He bled out. Caleb said they found traces of sulfur at Jim's place." John says.
"A demon." Dean asks as John nods. "The Demon?"

"I don't know. Could be he just got careless, he slipped up. Maybe the demon knows we're getting close." John says.
"What do we do?" Dean asks.
"Now we act like every second counts. There's two hospitals and a health centre in this county. We split up, cover more ground. I want records. I want a list of every infant that's going to be six months old in the next week." John says.
"Dad that could be dozens of kids. How do we know which one's the right one?" Sam asks.
"We check em all that's how. You got any better ideas?" John asks.
"No sir." John nods at them and they all turn back to their cars.
John stops, leaning on his trunk. Dean turns back as he opens his door and pauses. "Dad?" Dean asks.
"Yeah. It's Jim. You know, I can't..." John's face hardens. "This ends, now. I'm ending it. I don't care what it takes." They all get back in their cars and pull back onto the road, speeding into the distance.
eg hops down an alleyway, smiling. She comes to a stop, knowing that someone was following her. "I knew you'd show up eventually." She says.
Meg turns around to see a very angry Elena behind her. "Stop looking for them." She sneers.
"Aw, concerned for your boys?" Meg asks while circling. "Or is it just one Winchester in particular?"
Elena steps closer to Meg. "If I even see you near them, I'm gonna rip your heart out with my bare hands." She says through clenched teeth.
"I don't doubt you would, but you know what will happen if you did." Meg says. "He'd come after you and kill those boys in a heartbeat.
Elena smiles wickedly. "I know, but I didn't come here to fight. I need you to send a message."
"And what's that?" Meg smiles.
"Tell your master, if he even touches one hair on their heads, he's gotta deal with me'." Elena says and walks away.
ohn pulls up in front of 'salvation Children's Hospital'. He opens the container between the seats and shuffled through the number of IDs there, selecting one and pinning it to his jacket.
Sam is sitting in a filing room, a nurse brings him another load of files. "Here you go officer." She says.
"Thank you." Sam says.
"You're welcome." Sam continues copying birth certificate information into his notebook.
A pretty receptionist hands a file to a hospital worker, then looks down at her clipboard. She looks up again as Dean walks in and pauses, looking around. She smiles as he turns to her desk.
He notes her gorgeousness and raises his eyebrows. "Hi. Is there anything I can do for you?" The Receptionist asks.
"Oh God yes." Dean says. She smiles and looks down. "Only I'm uh...working right now, so..."
Sam comes out of Salvation Medical Centre, flipping through his notebook, then cluthces his head as a vision hits him.
The Yellow Eyed Demon is in a babies nursery. He flashes to a mother looking out the window, he hears a train, and then see's the demon again. As soon as the vision finishes and he can focus again he quickly pulls out a map.
Later, Sam is in a park, checking his map again. As he does he gets the vision flashes again. When it's over he realizes the house from the vision is in front of him. The woman from his vision pushes a pram along the road while holding an umbrella.
He approaches. "Hi. Here, let me hold that for you. You look like you don't need that anymore." Sam says.
"Oh. Thanks." She closes her umbrella while Sam holds her pram.
He looks inside. "She's gorgeous. Is she yours?" Sam asks.
"Yeah."
Sam turns to the baby. "Oh wow, hi! Oh sorry, I'm rude. I'm Sam. I just moved in up the block."
"Hi. I'm Monica. This is Rosie." Monica says.
"Rosie? Hi Rosie." Sam says.
"So, welcome to the neighbourhood." Monica says.
"Thanks." Sam says and looks at the baby. "She's such a good baby!"
"I know, I mean she...she never cries. She just stares at everybody. Sometimes she looks at you and I swear it's...it's like she's reading your mind." Monica says.
"What about you Monica? Have you lived here long?" Sam asks.
"My husband and I, we bought our place just before Rosie was born." Monica says.
"And how old's Rosie?" Sam asks.
"She's six months today. She's big right? Growing like a weed."
Sam is distracted. "Yeah. Monica..." He starts.
"Yeah?" Monica asks.
"Just ahhh, just take care of yourself okay?" Sam asks.
"Yeah, you too Sam. We'll see you around." As Monica turns to her house a station wagon pulls into the drive, honking. "There's Daddy!"
Sam's vision returns again. The clock in the bedroom stops, the nursery rhyme playing stops, a wind sweeps through. A black figure approaches the bed. Monica pushes the door open from the hallway and see's the figure standing over her daughters bed.
"What are you..." Monica starts.
The fugure turns to her. She is pulled back to the wall and slides up it to the ceiling. Blood starts dripping from her stomach. "Rosie!" The room bursts into flame.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

The Wu Clan's Rise: Legends of the twin dragons
The Immortal Domain is a vast cosmos consisting of the Upper Realm and the Lower Realms, both of which are controlled by the Three Great Families, the Wang family, the Lui family, and the Xue family. Each one of them holds an immense amount of power that could overturn the heavens, reverse yin and yang and change the fate of anyone or anything in the Immortal Domain as they see fit. But, with all of that being said, our story doesn't start from those ancient overpowered families in the Upper Realm, it starts from one of the countless fragmented Lower Realms, called the Wither Daemon Realm, in which there was a planet named Daiyu. On this planet, heavenly prodigies that were born with one of the thirty, rare Legendary Physiques were starting to pop up like common weeds. Longwei, born into the Wu Clan while in possession of the third rank Legendary Physique, was known as one of the six monster-level geniuses on planet Daiyu. His brother Longmin on the other hand, though was a genius in his own right, had faded into obscurity since his birth and was shunned by his own father after a certain ‘incident’. This story is the supposed legends of two dragons, who, through a journey of bloodshed and betrayal led their clan to unify the Immortal Domain and stand above trillions as the highest existence. ******* If you lovely readers can't be bothered to use your eyes, you can join my Patreon and get to stream my audio chapters like everyone else. https://www.patreon.com/TSETH Discord: https://discord.gg/tEdkhmrj5g
