I'm worried
It's been a week
Chiron is so pissed... But I don't know if it's more that or worried. And I'm worried. About Nico. About Will. But mostly, about Lou. She's my best friend, I can't afford to lose her.
And besides...
I lose concentration when I hear a voice. I'm in the forest, there might be monsters. I raise my bat (baseball, in case you were wondering) and I see Lauren and Sidney running up to me, holding hands, worried and excited about who knows what.
Then, Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, Frank, Piper and Jason run behind them. What's going on?
I walk to Lauren. "What's going on?" I ask. "Is Lou-uh-uh Nico okay? And uh-uh Will?" I stutter. "They're all fine... That's actually what I wanted to tell you, I talked to Lou Ellen, they're all coming home! With Nico!" Lauren exclaims with a smile and we all cheer and smile and give each other hugs.
"Why are we here then?" I ask. "Because you'll have to catch them when they fall" she says and positions me, Percy and Frank in exact locations, she positions my army and I ask "what that for?" Just as Lou Ellen pops out of the middle of nowhere. Before I even get to hug her or even move, her eyes roll back and she falls into my arms, completely unconscious.
"For that" Lauren days with a smile and I realize I'm holding her bridal style and I blush. I hate it that I blush so much, but what can I do.
I notice Nico is being held by Percy and Will by Frank. I run to Will, holding Lou in my arms as if she's the most precious thing in the world. Mostly because I just really don't want to drop her. "What happened? Are they okay?" I start rambling, worried. "They're my only real, close friends and I-"

"They're perfectly fine, they'll wake up in a few hours. Unlike shadow travel, it's safe, but everyone gets tired, not just Lou." Lauren says and I feel myself relax. Worrying about Lou or Will makes me feel really bad, I don't like it.
"So... To the infirmary?" I ask and Lou Ellen stirres in my arms, leaning her head against my chest, gripping my arm and making me blush. "Yeah" Jason says, slightly giggling. I ignore him and his giggle and carry Lou Ellen back to camp with everyone else.
At first, people look confused, but after they see Will and Nico, the image gets clear, and they clear us a path to the infirmary.
I run in and set Lou Ellen on a cot at the entrance and slowly let go of her after she lets go of my arm. I brush her hair out of her face and the tips of my fingers trace her forehead, down to her cheek and let her go. I wish I could get the courage to tell her I like her (AN: I SHIP IT OKAY???) "Thank you for coming back okay" I silently say and sit down on a chair between her and Will.
I decide at that moment at that moment to stay there until they wake up.

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)

Hymn of Ignis
If a man is told to walk from the moment of his awakening to the world, what will he do? He will walk. What if along his path he stumbles and falls? He will get up, and walk. What if along his path others bar the way? He will push through, and walk. What if along his path a storm hinders his passage? He will overcome it, and walk. What if along his path the sky changes color and light no longer guides the way? He will remain on his path, and walk. What if along his path the very ground gives way to oblivion? He will press on, and walk. What if along his path he becomes more than a man? Will he stop? Release schedule will be either weekly, or biweekly, depending on the time I have available. Hopefully that will change for the better along the way. As for the story itself, opinions matter a lot! I appreciate both soft, and hard criticism, so don't hold your punches.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
