《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 24: Desire

My head was a mess. A few hours have gone by since we were last at the Tusken Raiders camp. The ride back was completely silent.
It didn't take a genius to figure out Anakin's dead mother was wrapped up in blankets. Anakin sighed, lifting his dead mother from the back of the speeder. He walked a few feet before placing her on the sand.
It was hard to think about the way things were. What happened last night was something I'd personally like to block out of my head. If the council were to find out, they would disapprove. Luckily, I wouldn't say a word.
Anakin landed on his knees; tears began to shred from his eyes. Only this time, they weren't sobs; instead, he cried silently. He grabbed a handful of sand, feeling the texture. He sighed and threw it back on the ground. "Ani?" I asked, walking up.
"Maybe I had it coming," he calmly said. My eyes snapped at his hand, hovering over her body. She was sunken into the sand. "Don't say that; you know that's not true." I laid my knees on the sand next to him, placing my hand on his back.
He huffed before nodding. "I'll let you say your goodbyes," I said, giving his forehead a small kiss before distancing myself. I couldn't help but overhear the words he said. All he ever wanted was to be reunited with his mother. To save her from Watto, but he couldn't.
"I promise I won't fail again." I caught onto his final words before he got up. He slowly turned around, his eyes staring into mine. Surprised, his expression was back to normal. I gave him a small smile in which he returned.
The twin suns settled down, turning the sky into a dark blue. This was our last night on Tatooine, and I would love to say I am happy about it, but somehow I sensed fear.

Owen and Beru gave Anakin and me our rooms to stay in for the night. We were on the upper level of the hut. The silence was killing, but I wouldn't blame. Anakin would always talk about how nice and beautiful his mother was. There were no women like her in the whole universe.
I laid on the soft twin bed, dust falling now and then from the corners of the room. I let my hands fall onto my face swiping the little strands of hair from my face. I was exhausted emotionally and physically. I can only imagine how Anakin is feeling at the moment.
As my thought overwhelmed my head, the lids of my eyes became heavier each second. I slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
Though that didn't last long, I was woken by screams and broken glass on the other side of the wall. It was him; he was having another terrible nightmare. I grabbed my coat from the hanger, quickly making my way out into the outside hallway.
I stood in front of Anakin's door, hearing more yells and sobs. I knocked calmly, hoping he wasn't too startled. The noise seemed to die out before a silent "fuck." came from the other side of the wall.
Anakin opened the door only to see one of his eyes through the small crack. "Hey," I whispered. He looked beyond my body, making sure no one else was around before opening the door widely, grabbing my hand, and pulling my entire body inside in one swift moment.
He slammed the door looking back into my eyes. His stare was deadly and cold. The door seemed to be destroyed, pictures of Beru and Owen destroyed on the ground.
Before having a chance to speak, the blonde cupped my chin into his hands, pushing my body against the wall. Within seconds his lips landed on mine, smashing into them harshly. His breath was heavy, and unlike last time, I didn't want to stop.

His lips moved down onto my neck, giving it small kisses. I heard myself gasp before hearing a small laugh. "I told you you wouldn't be able to resist." He mused, his trails of kisses leading further down before stopping above my chest.
He looked up, smirking before his eyes flickered to the door and back on me. I nodded, giving him approval. I watched his eyes darken, the grip on my neck loosening up. He waved his hand, locking the door with force.
He didn't waste any time; his hand moved to the back of my waist, locking his lips back on mine. I was still leaning on the wall; my hands found themselves grabbing the back of Anakin's hair. It seemed temptation filled my whole body all at once. "Jump." a small muffle came from Anakin's mouth, making me do as he said.
I jumped, wrapping my legs around Anakin's waist. I played with his hair only to make him smile through our kisses.
He laid me gently onto the small bed before taking off his shirt. He ran his fingers through his hair only to mess it up even more.
My eyes fixated on his body, how smooth and attractive looking he was. He smirked before slightly laughing. "It won't go down this way, my love," Anakin said softly. Confusion filled my face; I tilted my head, lifting an eyebrow. "You deserve more," he added, moving towards the bed.
He laid his body next to mine, our faces facing each other. He took his hand, gently caressing my cheek. I was captured by how soft he could be so suddenly as if 30 seconds ago, he wasn't slamming me against the wall.
His eyes were no longer dark and on his face was a small smile. I felt myself blush slightly but just shook it off when I cleared my throat. "Deserve more?" I asked. He nodded before tracing my lips with his fingers.
"You're so eager, y/n." He chuckled, making me roll my eyes. "You deserve more than a silly night, and well being in this small bedroom isn't quite the picture I had in mind." He added, making me laugh. His eyes fixated on mine, his blue eyes piercing into my (y/e/c) ones.
"So you pictured it?" I teasingly asked, breaking the tension. His cheeks turned a soft pink. "shut up," he joked.
There was a short moment of silence where only our breaths were the only thing making noise. I imagined what will happen the next morning. Will he forget? Will I forget?
And even though the Jedi was ultimately the reason why Anakin and I can't be together, I caught myself wondering about the possibility of keeping it a secret. There was no doubt I found myself attracted to this boy or my feeling towards him.
Through the confusion, I found myself lost in his arms that night.

Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.
