《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 33: Victory

Anakin turned the ship around marking the map to steer to Trench's cruise ship. "Prepare to decloak on command. Prep torpedo tubes one through four. Fix range on Trench's command ship." Anakin said, fidgeting around some more with the buttons in front of him.
"I thought we were on a relief trip?" One of the Spark whispered. "You learn pretty quickly; when you serve under General Skywalker and General Amidala, you're always on the offensive. Now get ready to cycle those shields." Blackout said, confidently. I looked to the back of the ship to confused soldiers. I sighed, knowing once we got back to Obi-Wan, we were never going to hear the end of it.
"You realize our torpedos may not be enough." Admiral Yularen said, taking a few fine papers from the dashboard to fan himself. Maybe it won't be enough, but I know better never to underestimate Anakin's plan.
"We want Trench to think about us, Admiral. It will help the people on the surface." I said calmly. Anakin looked back around with a wide smile. Let's hope his plan works.
"It's time to introduce ourselves," Anakin said towards the intercom.
The turbochargers were now activated and ready to go.
"Ready the torpedos and lock onto the primary target," I yelled to Spark and Blackout, who was in the back of the ship. "Oh, and also disengage the cloaking device!" I added, making both the troops nod.
The sheath ship was no longer in hiding; we were entirely in the open. I knew at any moment blasters and bombs would creep their way towards us. Or maybe we would get lucky and still hide in the shadows.
"Fire!" Anakin shouted. Soon four torpedoes shot at rapid rates making their way to Trench's ship. Sadly, the ship had activated its shields, and damage was not done. "Well, that did little good!" an angry Admiral yelled. Anakin looked back, almost rolling his eyes.
"Recloaking in nine, eight, seven, six.." Anakin yelled once more, but in the distance were Trench's torpedoes on the way to damage the ship. "Prep, the flares," I said nervously as each second passed.
"It's too late, y/n!" Admiral yelled, making my nerves spike." Launch the flares!" Anakin shouted. Four flares from the side of the ship made their way out. "Cloak now!" I yelled, even more, nervous than ever. The ship became invisible again as the torpedoes exploded on the flares.

Though it seemed like the end, Trench shot a group of lasers in our direction. Anakin navigated the ship spun in many directions. I had to admit; all this flying was making me nauseous.
When he finally balanced the ship, almost everyone had green on their faces, except Anakin. His face was full of excitement and cockiness. He stared back to the group, smirking as he locked his eyes on mine.
"Now that they know we are here, what's your plan?" Admiral Yularen said, rubbing the side of his temples. "I'll think of something, Admiral. In the meantime, I've got Trench right where I want him, thinking about us." Anakin said, rubbing his chin thoroughly in his thoughts.
"General Amidala, there's a transmission on the available frequency. It's the enemy." Spark said as he came running to my shoulder. My eyes widen at the information nodding in acceptance. "Put it through, Anakin," I said, making him shake his head.
On the intercom appeared Admiral Trench. Trench looked like a fat spider, with one mechanical arm and eye. "Hello, ugly," Anakin said, squirming his face in his neck.
"I am Admiral Trench. If you are listening, Jedi, you've made a bold move and a grave mistake. I appreciate your decision to face me ship-to-ship to play this little game." Trench said, chirping between each sentence.
"It's been so long since I had a worthy opponent. You have an impressive new vessel, but I warn you, I have dealt with its find before. Your technology will not save you, and your friends on the planet below shall perish due to your failure. The people of Christophsis and her resource shall join the separatist's Alliance. Turn back now. Retreat while you can, for I am your doom." Trench said wave his arms crazily, finally ending his speech.
I chuckled, making everyone stare strangely at me. "I'm sorry, but the last part Trench said was hilarious," I said, still chuckling. "I mean, did you see the way his arms moved, was that supposed to scare me," I added, still making them stare strangely. "Anyways," I said, catching my breath, settling down.
"He said he dealt with this kind of ship before." The Admiral said, making everyone stare to the ground. "How?" Anakin asked, confused as he lifted an eyebrow. "Maybe Obi-Wan has answers," I said, standing up from the chair and making my way towards the front. "Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked hesitantly. "He won't yell at you, don't be scared," I said teasingly, making him itch the back of his neck.

"Obi-Wan," I spoke into the intercom, making him quickly appear. "Before you yell, we had made contact, but we have a question," I said quickly before the yelling began. Obi-Wan nodded, standing angrily. "Trench knows about the ship but says he's dealt with a sheath ship before; perhaps you know-how," I added; he rubbed his chin, walking back forth in the room.
"There are records of Trench's battles and a few against ships with cloaking devices." Obi-Wan finally said. "And?" Anakin asked impatiently. But before Obi-Wan spoke, he gave Anakin a death stare, making him slowly back away from the intercom.
"It seems that in each case, he used tracking torpedoes to hit the ship somehow whether it was cloaked or not," Obi-Wan said, sparking the Admiral to speak. "Then he knows a way of detecting us." The Admiral noted, standing up wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Tracking torpedoes? Hmm. What class ship was he fighting?" Anakin asked Obi-Wan.
"Mostly cruiser-to-cruiser. Nothing as small as your ship." Master Kenobi said, seething through his teeth. He folded his arms, sighing now and then. He was quite annoyed about the actions we took.
"Well, no ship this small usually has a cloaking device. Maybe Trench is tracking the magnetic signature. Thanks, Obi-Wan. Hold off your attack until we destroy Trench." Anakin said quickly, making Obi-Wan shake his head in disappointment. "Might I remind you that this is not your mission? Obi-wan said, frustrated.
"You might." Anakin sat back on his chair, turning the intercom off once again. "Anakin!" I whispered, shouted, making him nervously chuckle. "Y/n, prepare to disengage cloaking devices and fire," Anakin said; I turned my chair in a quick spin to do as he ordered.
"Fire!" Anakin yelled once again. The ship became visible. Four more torpedoes flew towards Trench's ship. "Recloaking in five," Anakin said after a few moments of vulnerability.
Four torpedoes came from Trench's ship directly towards us. "General, I hope you know what you're doing." Admiral Yularen said, clutching onto the bar above his head. "So do I, Admiral," I said weakly, smiling.
The torpedoes grew more significant the closer they got, and once again, we were swirling through the air. "General, they're locked onto our magnetic signature!" Spark yelled, making a smirk form on Anakin's face. "He took the bait. Turn off the cloaking device. Divert all power to the engines." Anakin said calmly, he squinted, locking his eyes on Trench's ship.
We were heading straight into him. The torpedoes were behind our steps, following in high speeds. Anakin flew the ship scraping the front of Trench's ship, making the torpedoes fly directly into the cruise ship's window.
"We did it!" Spark yelled, jumping up from his seat dancing happily. Obi-Wan appeared back on the intercom clapping, "I hate to admit it, but good job, Anakin. We're beginning our attack on the separatist fleet." Obi-Wan said, and for the first time, he smiled. "Have fun. I'll be delivering the supplies to the surface, Master." Anakin said calmly though Master Kenobi shook his head teasingly before disappearing.
"You did good, General. I need to lay down; my head is doing spins." the Admiral said, patting Anakin's shoulder before making his way towards the back of the ship.
"Well, that was extraordinary," I said after a few moments of silence. Anakin turned his chair around to face himself towards my body. Crossing his arms, he chuckled before getting up from his chair. "Follow me," Anakin whispered, taking my hand into his.
He led me to a corner of the ship that was dark and secluded. "Is this the part you tell me you're an alien?" I said playfully, making him roll his eyes. "Nope, I just wanted to do this," he said, landing his lips on mine.
His hands cupped the sides of my face bringing my entire body toward his. "Oh, this is so much better," I said in between kisses, making me laugh. "I've wanted to do that the whole trip." He said, finally leaning back.
His blue eyes stared into mine, making my cheeks glow a soft pink. "We should get going before the Admiral comes back," I said, landing a kiss on his cheek.

A quick look at the man behind the legends known today as Dracula the first Nosferatu. ------ Author's note: I'm self-taught in English, so the grammar may suck. AK - The Alchemy Kingdom
Karl always wanted to be a Mage. He was born in the Serion Kingdom, a fully pledged magic Kingdom. Seems like a perfect match, right? Unfortunately, no. He's just a commoner, working endlessly to maintaining the lifestyle of Mages. On his 15th birthday, his last chance to escape from a miserable life was destroyed when he was deemed to have no magic potential. For thousands of Serion's citizens that would be the end of their dreams. But how could this story be any fun, ending like that? Follow Karl and his friends while they tried to fight against the Kingdom's oppression. Will the system bend them to submission or will they break the chains of destiny? Spoiler alert: After thousands of years, an ancient Magic system will be reborn in the small Caiset village. What should you expect? - Kingdom Building: For sure! The heavy lifting will come later, I promise! Foundation is important, please be patient; - Epic battles: A Kingdom is not built without war and conflict. Who doesn't like good fights? Let's bring some excitement to this novel!; - Multiple leading characters: Karl convinced them to get on the bus, but this is a very long trip and everyone will need to drive a little; - Scientific Magic System: Especially Alchemy! I'm in no way trying to take the fantasy out of Magic. I just feel like trying to do something more logical. I'll probably stumble on a fine line, but I’m counting on you to keep me on track!; - World Building: I’m using some basic concepts from traditional Fantasy Worlds and trying to add some nice touches to make it unique; - Fun?: I'll try to insert some humor into the story, but that’s an experience we will go through together. Other points I find important: Alchemy is mostly crafting magic tools, but it will go a little further down the road. Even if you don't like crafting, weapon enhancing and whatnot, don’t give up on the novel. You might be surprised about Alchemy's reach later. Also, other types of Magic will play an important role here, just not the leading role. ......... Check out my two spin-off novels, Merchant Queen and Harbinger of Death! Both are independent novels, but with the same world setting... Maybe some crossover later... Either way, you can check them to get additional information on worldbuilding and hidden plots... Ten Thousand Sallys
Imagine waking up in a hospital room, you can barely move. No one comes when you call. The only other person present is a little boy, who is, surprisingly, more help than you would expect. What would you do? This is the exact situation Sally finds herself in. Almost immediately she discovers that nothing is what she thinks it is. Not the boy, not the hospital, maybe not even herself. She is in deep trouble and the consequences will be dire if she can’t find a way out. She is a fighter, though, and just doesn't quit. As a baseline human, she starts as the lowest of the low and has to claw her way up in spite of being tangled in a shifting web of schemes and plots. She has to do her best, and maybe her best is pretty good. As Sally uncovers more about her situation, she finds that she has to be smart and tough and that in this place she needs to depend on her friends, who are using her as much as she is using them. This book contains themes concerning life, death, and body functions, light swearing, minimal nakedness, and should be suitable for most. Some pertinent info: Ten Thousand Sallys is a complete novel of approximately 140 pages in 20 chapters. Around 80,000 words. not too long, and maybe too short. Give it a read and let me know your opinion.
