《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 41: Baby Hutt

"There are too many droids here for them to be renegades. I sense Count Dooku's hand in this. Let's find Jabbas, son, and get out of here." Anakin spoke as we all formed a small circle. The circle consisted of myself, Anakin, Ahsoka, Zander, and Rex.
I took a deep breath, knowing Dooku could be anywhere, perhaps in this very building. Since our last encounter, I had dreamed of the moment he and I will meet face to face again. How I would end him, my thoughts consumed me if it wasn't for Anakin, who knows what would have happened.
"No problem. The hard part's done." Ahsoka formed a broad smile on her face. She was so innocent in the arena, though she knew exactly how to handle herself. "I wish you wouldn't say that," Anakin said, placing his hand on his forehead as he led the group once more.
As we walked the long pathway, there was no droid insight once again. We stood in front of the long tall door, as it slowly began to open. The inside was dark and cold. The energy that has presented itself wasn't pleasing.
"I don't like this place. It gives me the creeps." Rex whispered though it still echoed in the room. "I agree, Rex. This doesn't feel good." I agreed as I looked around my surrounding. On the very top of each wall was an ominous green light, making the room feel even more off.
"This looks like one of those B'omarr monk monstrosities that I read about in my studies at the Temple," Ahsoka mumbled as we continued to walk. "Smugglers take these monstrosities over, turn them into their retreats." he muffled.
"And the monks just let them?" Ahsoka's asked innocently. Ani stopped in his tracks sighing before looking over his shoulder to Ahsoka.
"Smugglers usually get what they want one way or another." he huffed before a loud sound came from the distance. We turned around facing into the darkness. I ignited my saber, illuminating the room a bit more. Out came to a droid walking on two legs; it looked just like C3PO, only this one had a head shaped like a bug.

"Uh good guy or bad guy, Master?" Zander spoke out; he was inches behind me and in his hand was his green saber. "Who are you?" I shouted, making the droid approach closer to my face. "Merely the humble caretaker, ma'am. You have liberated me from those dreadful battle bots. I am most thankful."
My mouth made an 'o' shape while I retracted my saber back onto my belt. The droid was a curious-looking machine. It was rusty but seemed to be in proper condition. At the time, I didn't know if it was lying or being truthful.
I broke the silence hanging over us when I cleared my throat with a small cough. "Where is the Hutt?" I asked.
"The battle bots keep their prisoners on the detention level. I must warn you it is very dangerous down there, my friend. Not a place for a Servant girl."
I furrowed my brows taken back as his words left his mouth. I question whether I have heard him correctly before snapping. My impatience beat me to it. "Servant girl? Do Servant girls carry these?" I pulled out my lightsaber, pointing it onto the droids head.
He held his arms up in surrounder, "I am a Jedi Knight." I exclaimed, my eyes staring deep into the droid, not making a subtle movement. "Y/n." Anakin walked over to my side, pushing the lightsaber down.
"A thousand apologies." The droid said sincerely.
"You are forgiven. Now, Captain, we'll get the Hutt. Zander, stay here and keep your eyes open." I ordered. I felt Anakin's eyes on me, but I was focused on the mission and anger to say anything.

"Master, you know you're walking us into a trap?" Ahsoka echoed through the hallway as Anakin led the group. "I know." Anakin confidently said as we passed many doors.
The hallway was dark, and the only light source was the windows, but even that didn't make a difference. From the corner of my eye were droids, but oddly they were moving. I knew Ahsoka also saw them. Her eyes shifted to mine, confused.

"You know we just passed two droids?" Ahsoka began to pace more quickly, catching up to Anakin's speed.
"I know," Ani said once again.
"Well, I don't like this. Can I take care of them?" She mumbled as the droids began to walk behind us. "Oh, Well, if you feel so strongly about it, go ahead." I walked alongside Anakin, looking in his direction was, of course, a smirk.
Grunts and metal falling on the ground were heard behind us. Ahsoka had taken down the four droids. "Not bad. You remembered to destroy their weapons first." Ani crossed his arms as he stood there in awe.
"I'm improving your technique." she teased sarcastically, making Ani roll his eyes and laugh. He took out his saber, stabbing a droid behind him without turning.
"Of course, you did miss one." he shrugged it off and continued walking down the hall. Ahsoka's blue eyes looked at me confused and surprised; I shrugged before laughing. "Hey, I did that on purpose," Ahsoka said, scratching the back of her neck.
As we continued to walk a few more steps, I felt in an odd sense in the force. Stopping in my tracks, I was in front of a door. I knew the Hutt had to be in there, "I sense the Hutt is in here." I explained as both of them stopped walking and returned to the door.
"Eww, I can smell him too." Ahsoka pinched her nose.
I used the force to open the door, and out came a crawling baby Hutt from the shadows. It was crying. "He's a lot younger than I thought he'd be," Anakin whispered. "Oh, he's just a baby," I said, wrapping my hands together.
Even though the smell, he was adorable. "This will make our job a lot easier." I bent down to the Hutt, who was eager to be in the arms of anyone. "I wanna hold him!" Ahsoka yelled, quickly grabbing the Hutt into her hands.
"Just wait until you see what he'll grow up into." Anakin's face turned into disgust.
"Well, ill just sit here and get to know him." Ahsoka placed herself on the cold stone ground. I leaned against the wall waiting for our next order, it was nearly midday, and we already had Jabbas, son. My thoughts wondered if we are falling into an even more giant trap.
I felt a small tap on my shoulder, bringing me back to reality. My eyes landed on Anakin, who tilted his head into the hallway. "Follow me." He whispered, leaving the small room Ahsoka was. He took my hand, walking into the cell next to the one we were just in.
"What are you doing?" I asked as he closed the door. He looked around before taking me into a hug. "Ahsoka can walk in at any moment," I whispered as he spun me around the room. "I'll take my chances." He whispered back, placing me onto the floor before his lips quickly puzzled into mine.
"Ani." I laughed as he slowly went down towards my neck. "Hmm." He hummed, giving my neck kisses. He placed his hands on my lower back, gripping it tightly. "Anakin," a silent moan escaped my mouth; he chuckled under his breath.
The room's tension was passionate, but that soon ended when the sound of our intermission band started to ring. I sighed, making Anakin also grunt. "Let's go back," I whispered, heading back towards the door.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.
