《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 59: Tension

I woke up in my own bed; it was around midnight. The only source of light was the building lights from outside the window. I had no idea how I winded up in bed and especially underneath the covers. I only remembered slight bits of Bane's face and how the Separatist cruiser had been blown into pieces.
I lied on my right shoulder, looking at the view of the city. The bedsheets were silky, as was the lingerie I was wearing. My face was full of confusion; I realized I was in the bed Anakin and I shared. Though, he wasn't on the other side.
I sat up, adjusting my body, my eyes wandering the room of anything. From the hall was a shadow, a manly figure.
"Hello?" I shouted. Looking around the room for my lightsaber, I found my lamp useful to defend myself with.
The shadow approached closer.
"Hey, you're awake." Anakin walked in; he was shirtless and in sweats. A calm wave of relief filled my whole body. From embarrassment, I placed the lamp back onto the end table.
"You were gonna hit me with a lamp?" He laughed. He made his way around the other side of the bed, getting under the silk covers. "Well, yeah, that was my plan." I nervously chuckled. He placed his head on my legs, wrapping his arms around them.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked. I was still terribly confused. One second I was on a ship trying to retrieve a missing Holocron that filled information of the future younglings, and the next, I was in bed.
"Half a day. The medical droid said your body had experienced exhaustion. Mostly from the shock waves, Bane had set on the cuffs. I brought you here afterward; I decided whenever you woke up, you'd want to be here," He mumbled.

"Oh, well, what happened to Bane and the Holocron? Did we get it back?"
"We captured Bane. Unfortunately, they captured some of the children and consumed them to the dark side or are trying. I have a meeting with the Chancellor in the morning, then after, who knows." He lifted his head, adjusting his body to sit right next to mine.
We stared at the city for a few minutes, hearing the laughter and chatter from the bars nearby. My mind wandered to the day of the library and the fight we had. I completely forgot about the issue, but one thing changed my whole perspective.
I almost died a couple of times, and each time I wished I had done many things with Anakin, with my own life. I realized how much I haven't experienced and wanted to.
I swallowed thickly, "I want to get married in a couple of days." I commented. I looked to my left, watching Anakin's head dart towards mine. His lips were slightly apart. "I thought we had set a date?" He wondered. I shook my head.
"I don't want to wait," I whispered.
"What's wrong? I know this isn't just for any reason." his voice was tinted with pure curiosity. His brows were scrunched and furrowed. He placed one hand on my thigh, rubbing it slightly with his thumb.
"I was almost sucked into space, Ani. I was terrified, and deep inside, I wanted you to pick me, even if I knew it was wrong. I want to be married and enjoy every second I have with you." I mumbled on the verge to let the tears slip out of my eyes.
"Y/n, I will always pick you, but I think you're rushing into it. Believe me, I want to get married in this second, but I know-" He answered, but I quickly placed my lips onto his, making him shut up.

My hands touched the sides of his cheeks, consuming myself into his lips.
"Oh," Anakin mumbled in between kisses. He slowly leaned back, trying to get an opportunity to talk, though I didn't let him. Instead, I placed my body onto his lap. His hands wrapped around my waist, slowly moving them downwards.
I was wearing a short lingerie dress, his hands were touching my underwear lace. He swirled his fingers, lopping them into it.
His mouth moved towards down my neck, pecking on it. A soft moan escaped my lips, surprising me in an instance. I felt the tension I had once felt in the library; my body started to burn up. I wanted more but knew deep inside I was nervous.
His face looked up into mine, "I know you were nerv-" I shut him up once more. I was ready.
