《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 74: Daughter

Dooku's Senate had agreed to pass the bill Padme had persuaded so passionately, and we were finally on our way back to Coruscant.

"Well, well, well... This is quite a stunning development." Chancellor Palpatine commented.

"Your excellency, we would be remiss, if not irresponsible, to reject the Separatists' proposal," Padme interjected. She had told everything to Palpatine about our little trip to Raxus, and surprisingly he wasn't fond of it. "Of course," he responded. In his hand was a glass of wine.

"An end to the fighting would mean there's no need to borrow money for more clones," Padme added even more that she tried her best to make her story more appealing. "I can see why you would want so badly to believe that the Separatists desire peace." His hand placed itself on Padme's shoulder, walking her into the hallway.

"I don't understand." She asked, and I was too confused about what he meant. "In the past, whenever we've reached out our hands in peace, they've been slapped away. Can we believe that they're ready to sue for peace so easily?" Palpatine asked.

"If I might speak with you in confidentiality, I know that this is sincere. I've been in contact with my old friend Mina Bonteri, and the origin of the proposal is with her." Padme articulated. The Chancellor's facial expression was odd and surprised.

"Bonteri?" He questioned. His eyes pondered on the ground before they slowly came into contact with mine. "How was the dialogue established?" he added.

"Does it matter, Chancellor, if the result is an end to the war?" I blurted out.

"I see your point, my child," he mumbled; he placed his hand on my cheek, weirding me out even more. "Then we shall put the vote to the floor," he concluded, closing the doors behind us.

Padme and the whole Senate immediately went straight into a meeting. I stood outside her portal, waiting until the Senate had voted; that was until my eyes landed on Anakin, and a smile formed onto his lips as did mine.

I walked in his direction, pleased to see his face when the whole building had shut down. It had gone completely dark, and the room lit back up with a dark red tint. Air raid sirens had begun to blare around the whole city, and immediately I ran in Anakin's direction.

"Are you alright?" he asked. His eyes wandered my whole body frantically, "yes, I'm fine." I responded. His hand was placed on my cheeks softly until Padme's voice was heard coming from her portal. "I'm returning your, Padawan." Padme sighed.

"I'm sorry you talk with Bonteri failed," Anakin commented. I raised my eyebrows, "How did you know?" Padme asked, surprised. I gave him no details about the plan; I knew he would become upset knowing I smuggled my sister across enemy lines.

"We have eyes and ears everywhere, Padme. That was dangerous and careless going to Raxus, not to mention illegal. You went too far this time." He scoffed and turned his back around, walking in the other direction.

"You would do the same. You do the same all the time." I articulated.

"This was too much." I walked beside him. "Maybe so. But I did realize something. The politics of this war are not as black and white as I once thought they were." Zander commented, a smile formed on my face; at least he learned something on this wild adventure.

It was only a few hours later when Master Yoda assigned us to our next mission. This time I joined the famous trio. We had received a transmission intercepted far beyond the Outer Rim deep in the Crelythiumn system.

However, this transmission was odd and out of the ordinary; the council could not locate where and why the call had been made. But in the message was a Jedi distress code that had not been used in over 2,000 years.

"We're at the rendezvous point awaiting your arrival. Where are you?" Anakin asked in the holonet. He had called Rex, but surprisingly he was already at our location. Our eyebrows raised; he was nowhere in sight.

"Oh, come on. That's impossible. Something's wrong. We're at the exact coordinates where the distress signal originated, but there's nothing here. Rex is at the same coordinates, and he's not here." Anakin ranted.

Ahsoka and I sat in the back seats as we watched Obi-Wan and Ani argue about what had been going on. "This is getting interesting," Obi-Wan commented. He held his hand onto his chin the way he usually did when he was in his thoughts.

"Unable to find you. Where are you, sir?" Rex asked though the holonet transmission had become distorted and very unhearable.

"Something's blocking the signal," I noted. Suddenly the lights of the ship we were huddled in had shut down, including the power. Obi-Wan and Anakin had begun pressing every button possible, trying to start the ship back up at once.

"Not good," Obi-wan mumbled.

"Everything's dead, even the life support," Ahsoka commented as she stood up from her chair. She made her way to the front, also trying every button possible.

"Hmm, this is really strange," Ani whispered, though right on time, the power came back on. "There. See? Nothing to be concerned about after all." Obi-Wan sighed in relief. However, I suspected something very different, a presence that had both dark and light into it. That was until my eyes laid upon something weird, "Then what's that?" I pointed into the far distance.

Floating in space was a diamond-shaped ship or something. I had never seen one; it looked as if it was meant for only us to find. It pulled us towards it involuntary the ship had begun to tremble again.

Closer and closer we got, and not once of us spoke a word seeing how spooked we were. The middle of the diamond had opened, and a bright white light impacted our eyes, making us squint harshly. "Everyone, strap yourselves in. It looks as though we're going for a ride." Obi-Wan suggested.

The whole area was around us was plain white, and nothing from afar seemed to be in color. Anakin looked back onto my face as I did to his until he had vanished completely.

When I had woken up, everyone and even the ship had been totally fine. There were no scratches or any signs of a severe impact. "I must have blacked out." Anakin sighed. He held his arm up to his neck, stretching. My pupils were once again adjusting to the light as my head was slightly in a dizzy phase.

"Then who landed the shuttle?" Obi-Wan asked. That's right if all of us were blacked out, who landed the ship. "Not me." Ahsoka yawned, also waking up. All four of us looked at each other crazily; one of us had to there was no way it just landed on its own.

"Mmm, where are we?" Anakin broke the silence. My eyes wandered to the outside of the ship. What was out there was beautiful and nature-like. There were large palm trees and bushes and freshly cut grass—nothing to hell like.

"Some organic mass. All of our readings indicate that it's bigger than an asteroid. But at least the atmosphere is breathable." Ahsoka commented her words were slowly spaced out. She was confused about what she had just read aloud, and I was confused about what I just heard. We were on some planet that was breathable and bigger than an asteroid. That makes things much better...

"Well, this is getting more unusual by the minute. I can't even lock down where in the galaxy we are or if we are even in our own galaxy." Obi-Wan added. My palms began to sweat; where the hell are we.

Anakin began to click every dial possible, looking for answers. "What. Well, the ship's systems seem fine, but, for whatever reason, nothings working." he leaned up back in his chair, defeated.

"Well, let's adventure," I suggested getting up from the chair and heading outside. The rest followed behind my steps, mesmerized by how beautiful it was. Even Kenobi held up his binoculars to take a closer look at everything.

"Hey! I saw something. A reflection up on the hill." Ahsoka yelled. My eyes followed her gaze, but there was nothing. "I don't see anything," I replied.

Up ahead were floating rocks and mountains that reach distances. The sky was clear, but there were a bit of clouds.

"What... What? Uh... did you hear that?" Anakin asked. I raised my eyebrows. Hear what? There was nothing but the sounds of birds and the wind. "Hear what?" I asked. His eyes brows furrowed, and he shook his head frantically.

"Are you the one?" A chilled women's voice came from behind us. Quickly I turned my back to face a goddess... well, at least one that looked like it. She wasn't in human form, and she didn't have feet. She seemed to be floating and had beautiful luscious hair.

"Hello," Obi-Wan asked. He seemed to be in a daze and most likely was checking her out. "Who are you?" Anakin asked also. He placed his hands onto his waist.

"I am Daughter. Are you the one?" Daughter asked again. Are you the one? What was that supposed to mean, and why would she be asking him anything. "Uh, the One what?" I asked, stepping forward.

"I will take you to him." She replied. Her voice was almost like an echo that was on repeat in your mind. "Him who?" Ahsoka asked in my place. She had the same curious mind as I had.

"Uh, did you bring us here?" Obi-Wan asked. It seemed every single one of us had questions we desperately wanted answers to.

"Only he can help you. There is little time. Follow me. We must have shelter by nightfall." She turned around gracefully. We all stood in the same spot we were left in, confused as to what just happened. "And we thought the planet was strange. How about this one?" Ani voiced. He tilted his head, pointing it in her direction, which only made me smile. He was such a dork at times.

"We'll be fine as long as we stay together," Kenobi reassured the group helping the panic we all had on our shoulders. We agreed to followed Daughter to wherever she led us. Maybe it was a trap Dooku had formed, but something about this place wasn't sitting right at all.

It seemed as though we had walked a long way. Though, it was only a few hours. The flat part of my feet had been killing me, but we continued to hike up this extravagantly tall mountain. None of us had said a single word too confused on what to say or even ask.

"Have you noticed the seasons seem to change with the time of day?" Kenobi asked.

"Yeah. And there are no animals." Anakin replied.

"And you sense it?" Ahsoka asked, my eyes slightly opened. I thought I was the only one, but there was a strange presence since we had arrived, making me confused and chilled.

"Mm-hmm, Since we arrived. The Force is very strong. An intersection, unlike anything I've ever felt before." I noted.

"Be wary," Kenobi whispered.

"Excuse me. Who are you taking us to?" Anakin asked Daughter. "The Father, of course." She replied. Once again, we faced the most straightforward answers that never really got us anywhere but to ask more questions. "And what exactly are you?" I asked, speeding up my pace. I walked alongside Anakin to hear Daughters' responses a bit better. "We are the ones who guard the power. We are the middle, the beginning, and the end."

Ani and I looked at each other, wanting to laugh but deeply holding it in. "Glad she cleared that up" He whispered in my ear, making a slight giggle come from my mouth.
