《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 78: A Secret Revealed

I ran towards her body that laid on the ground. A rush of anger and sadness hit my body, but I was pushed in an instance. Brother had pushed my body back onto the floor. Ahsoka's hand grabbed onto my chest, resisting the urge to go back.
"The Jedi have brought me the dagger, and you have brought yourself. Now, Father, you will die." Brother held up the dagger directing his aim on his Father. "Father!" daughter yelled, but it was too late. Instead of Father being stabbed, it was Daughter.
So surprised he was, he asked himself why. Why he would stab his sister, he now had to live with the guilt. "Why?" Brother yelled so loud that even the thunder and lightning had automatically resumed. He flew into the air, leaving the area at once.
Now free from Ahsoka's grip, I continued my way to Y/n. I grabbed her cheeks, cheering her name on repeat. She had cracks on her face that made themselves down her body. "No, no, no, no," I repeated the words; she wasn't waking up.
"My daughter. What have I done?" Father was only in his scenario. His daughter was dying into his arms, "Do not hate him, Father. It is his nature." She replied. Nature? he killed the person I loved.
"No. All is lost. The balance has been broken. I thought by bringing you here; I would...But I have destroyed everything." Father added. He did destroy everything; I stared at my wife, not moving.
Tears had begun to form, trying my hardest to stop, but couldn't help the resting burn in my throat. "Can you help her?" I asked; my voice shook.
"There is no light. The evil has been unleashed, and the dark side shall consume her." He replied. Consume her? No, she was the brightest person I know; she couldn't possibly go in that direction.
"You must help her!" I demanded. I can't lose her. I am nothing without her.
"I cannot undo what is done. There is no hope." Father said once again. I wasn't taking it. "yes, there is. There's always hope! She showed me." my words stuttered a few times.
I begged at this point; I couldn't help but try everything in my power. So with that, Father stood up, directing me to sit in between his daughter and Y/n. I did so without a thought. "Then let my daughter's last act be to breathe life into your friend." Father's voiced. I placed two fingers onto Daughter's forehead and my other two onto Y/n passing one life force onto another.
And that was when she woke up coughing. She was back, and like that in a snap, I hugged her immediately, ignoring Ahsoka and Obi-Wan."Hey," I softly laughed, looking into her eyes.
"What's going on?" Y/n asked, her eyes slowly opening back up. She looked onto my face as well as Obi-Wan for answers. "Uh, not much. It's good to see you." Nervously chuckling, ignoring all past events that had just happened. I helped her stand up, wanting to do so much more, but couldn't at the moment.
"As the balance in this world crumbles, so shall war escalate in your galaxy. As my Son has descended into the dark side, so have the Sith gained strength." Father said, terrified.
"We will stop your son." I insisted.
"No. You must go now. For her, for what she is carrying." I furrowed my eyebrows confused. For what she is carrying? What did that mean?

I began to ask but immediately was interrupted, "He needs your ship to leave the planet. You must leave before he can take it." Father added.
"What about you?" Obi-Wan asked. That was also a matter of concern; what will happen to him?
"I shall mourn all that I have done...and all that is yet to be." he grabbed onto his daughter's hand, caressing it.

"I'm getting a little tired of how unreliable the weather is here," Obi-Wan commented. He powered the ship back up, setting everything back in motion.
From what I could recall, I had gone into the dark side unwillingly. I don't remember moments of what I did, though I knew that I said some harsh words to Ani I didn't mean.
I was back again, lying on the metal bed he had set up for me placing a blanket to warm my body. "Some might say that's part of the appeal." Anakin joked. Even though all this chaos, he still had his sense of humor. I weakly smiled as we both stared at each other.
The weather outside seemed never to stop. The continuous hail for rain continued for hours. "You did well, Anakin. How do you feel?" Kenobi asked. He had gone through so much; I was surprised he hadn't melted down the same way I did. "I'm not sure we're doing the right thing by leaving. The Son is consumed by the dark side." Ani sighed.
"And if we stay, we may be used to the dark side's advantage." Master Kenobi replied. Staying here meant we would be consumed, and I didn't want to feel the way I did. I had no control of my body; I felt powerful in a way I have never felt. But I also felt hatred and sadness for things I didn't know I was vulnerable to.
"Well, do you want the bad news or the really bad news?" Ahsoka popped her head from underneath the ship. She had on some cute adorable goggles; she had been working on the ship, seeming as Anakin crashed it... of course.
"Well, let's try the bad news, laced with a little optimism." Obi-Wan sarcasm was the only fuel to our conversation. "We've got two cracked Shilo pins, a busted power converter, the engines should be fried twice to dump debris, and the backup vents need charging," Ahsoka replied. That was a complete list of problems, and I couldn't just be lying around while they all fixed the issues.
"Sounds downbeat," I grunted. I rolled from bed-making Anakin get up from the chair he was sitting in. "I'm fine." I insisted before he laid a hand on me. "Can it be fixed?" I asked Ahsoka walking my way towards her body that dropped back down to the control center.
"Uh, I can reroute the primary initiator, weld the dampening vents, and that might give us enough power to leave the atmosphere. After that, I have no guarantees she'll hold together." She replied. Well, that was better than nothing. "We'll take our chances. Better than staying here." I walked back outside, examining the view. It was pitch dark and cloudy; the chilling breeze didn't bring a sort of comfort I wished for.
"Where are you going?" I asked Anakin, who brought a speeder. "To see the Father. I'm not convinced that the Son will be contained here without our help. Perhaps we should make a stand." He replied.
His genius plan was to head back out where I was forced into the dark side? "Anakin..." I called out his name. "If I don't get the Father's blessing to leave, it'll haunt me forever." He chimed in. Before I had the chance to speak, he rode off back into the distance Brother and Father were in.

I wasn't sure what he would encounter or what they'll make him do. My whole experience on this planet was dreadful and stressful I haven't processed the information they had left in my mind. I had been carrying, but what exactly? I wasn't with their literature or the way they talked. It was confusing.
I sat at the end of the ship, thinking deeply, trying to connect the dots. Carrying? Hmm, nothing seemed to spring into my mind.
"Are you okay?" Obi-wan asked, coming to sit by my side. I hummed my response; I wasn't okay but had to pretend that I was. My husband had yet again left, and I was left with complex information I couldn't tell anyone. "Ahsoka needs help," I added after a moment of silence. I didn't want to wander in my thoughts; I wanted to leave this place.
But when I reached Ahsoka's spot, she had her eyes fully closed. Poor girl, she was tired and couldn't blame her. She was fixing the ship all by herself, "Might I suggest less sleeping and a little more work?" I teased; she woke up in shock. "Sorry, Master Amidala." She huffed.
"Here this should help." I handed her a cup of sweet tea. She had been so out of it; it was a surprise she was still up and working. "We need to change plans. You must focus on the firing drives; disengage them." I suggested as she drank her tea diligently.
"But I'm almost finished putting this junk heap back together, and now..." She began. "Just do as I say. We don't have much time." I cut her off. I walked in the direction of the leftover speeders. What crossed my mind was going after Anakin. I didn't know if it was the right thing, but I needed to find out if he was okay. So that's what I did; I quickly grabbed a speeder, getting ontop and heading out. The screams of Obi-Wan echoed as I distanced myself from the ship.
I had no clue where he was located, but as Master Windu and Master Kenobi had always told me, "Follow the will of the Force." But this will of this force was leading me into the dark side. The tension and chills had crawled up my spine. Was Anakin even there? It felt proper heading in this direction.
Where it led me was in an underground volcanic cave. Lava filled the whole area. Well, this looked like hell. I parked my speeder in the middle, wandering my eyes for the boy I loved until they laid on this body.
"Anakin, are you all right?" I asked, walking towards his body but halting midway. His eyes shined a bright yellow, the dark side. "There has been a change of plan. Sorry." Ani used the force to drop my speeder into the lava. I backed away slowly, terrified about who he was at the moment.
"You will not understand what I have to do to end the Clone War. You will try to stop me, but I'm doing this for you." He answered in a whisper. A slight wind hit the back of my neck, making me turn around in an instance. There he was standing tall, Brother.
"Anakin, why?" I asked, looking back and forth between the two. "For our child. I have seen that it is the Jedi who will stand in the way of peace. Stay here, I'll be back." Ani replied. For our child? What was he even talking about? He hopped onto his speeder, "Ani, wait!" I shouted, but he left in a hurry.
I was left standing with Brother. His dark glowing eyes peered into mine, "He's mine now." He chuckled evilly before changing his form; he had disappeared.
The only step now was to call Obi-Wan and Ahsoka for help. Ani decided to throw my speeder into the lava melting it to bits. How could he just leave me here?
"Ahsoka, come in, please. Can you hear me? Ahsoka!" I pleaded into my holonet. "Yes, Master. Any success with Anakin?" She answered, giving me a sigh of relief. "No, quite the opposite. Anakin has joined with the Son. Do not engage him and just do as I say. Listen to me. You have to disable the ship." I shouted. I wanted to make sure she heard my every word. It was vital.
"But I just finished putting it back together." She huffed.
"Ahsoka, please listen. We have to prevent Anakin and the Son from leaving." It pained me. He had turned, and I was partially the only one who could save him.
"Yes, Master," Ahsoka replied in a sigh.
I ended the call looking up above to see how in the hell id get out. Well, time to start climbing. I jumped, giving myself a head start placing my foot on the slippery edges, and I worked my way up. Anakin is seriously going to have to pay for this.
I reached the mid-point, exhausted from the heat and smoke that had flown into my eyes. "Hmm, nice job." Ahsoka joked as she approached in her speeder, giving me relief. "What took you so long." I laughed, hopping onto the back of the speeder. I wrapped my hands around her waist, holding myself as she flew back upwards the entrance.
"Here. I did as you said. The shuttle's going nowhere without that." She handed me the fuse smiling in the process. "Good. That gives us some time to rescue Anakin." I patted her shoulder, giving her praise. She was always a good Jedi.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
I had ordered Ahsoka in an instance to fly down to Father. He was the only one that could genuinely help us rescue Anakin, but upon arriving was Anakin's body sitting next to Fathers. "Anakin!" I shouted as we flew down closer to them.
"Are you alright?" Ahsoka asked, getting in a hurry as I did. "I think so," he replied. He seemed to be back to normal. He didn't have the gold tint in his eyes as he once did before. He was back; I knew it. "But we must stop the Son once and for all," he added.
Father rose from his spot springing his arms outward. "We have little time, and you'll get only one chance. You know what you must do." Father directed Anakin.
"How quaint. My send-off." Brothers voice echoed. He was here; I looked at Anakin's eyes as he looked into mine.
"I ask you one last time. Do not leave, my Son." Father began an argument, but this whole time I kept my eyes on Ani. "You have no power to keep me, old man. You must understand by now; this planet is not my destiny." Brother rolled his hand into a fist; his voice became louder and louder by the second.
"What you will do will destroy all that is good. I beg you, Restrain yourself, and stay." by this point, Father had been begging, and I wish somewhere in Brother's heart he understood and listened, but I was wrong. "I cannot," he replied in a mumble.
"And then it shall be. I love you, my Son." Father whispered. His voice was saddened as he slowly backed away from Brother. "Do you?" he asked.
That was when Anakin's eyes had left mine, igniting this saber in defense from Brothers attack. But he was much too powerful for Ani. He held him up in a chokehold restraining him from breathing until he threw him across the arena.
My eyes and feet shifted to his place. I had let Obi-Wan and Ahsoka alone to handle Brother. "Ani," I cried out. I held his head into my lap, his eyes were in a daze, but he was fine.
"I'm okay." He mumbled and grunted at the same time. He stood up limping; I grabbed onto his hand. "For our child? What did you mean by that?" I asked, confused. It still lingered in my mind. Was I pregnant?
He raised his eyebrows, "Our child?" He asked. He was completely oblivious, but before I could have the chance to say anything, Father had taken his own life. "I'll be back." Anakin rushed his words igniting his saber, and ran towards the scene where he stabbed Brother onto his back.
The planet all-around had begun to break itself down. Until a massive explosion came from the sky, wiping the area around us in complete utter whiteness.
"General Skywalker, come in." rex voiced echoed in my head. I opened my eyes to find myself in our Jedi shuttle. "We read you, Rex. Can you hear me?" Anakin answered back. "Yes, sir, standing by. We were worried. You were off the scopes there for a moment." Rex commented, sparking confusion in all our minds.
"A moment? We've been gone more than a moment, Rex." Ani chuckled. "Sir, I don't understand. You'll need to explain."
We all looked at each other confused, but seemingly we all knew what had just happened. Though I didn't remember a few parts, I held memories of the whole encounter. I was turned to the dark side and told Anakin was the chosen one. That was it, nothing more and nothing less. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you. We're coming in now."
