《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 110: Unveiled

More and more hours have passed, and all-around capital were rumors.
It was all everyone could talk about. Even throughout the night, my head spun in many directions, and in the morning with the usual pregnancy sickness.
He didn't know he even had a kid on the way.
"Y/n? Are you awake?" Padme asked in a whisper. The room I stayed in was hers. I didn't plan on going back to the bed I once lay with my husband on. Instead, I spent the night in my sister's bed. Wetting her pillow cover in my tears.
"I'm awake," I answered. My head still lay on her silk pillow in pure darkness.
"We have good news on the Chancellor," she whispered again.
I didn't move. It wasn't the news I wanted to hear, but I was happy nonetheless.
"Anakin and Obi-Wan are believed to be alive," She added.
My body lifted itself from her bed in a quick snap. It was crazy to think how your whole mood could change in seconds.
"I need to leave," I answered; I paced to the closet, grabbing any dress I could find that would fit.
"You have enough time, now let me do your hair. It's such a mess." She tried to humor the situation, but it didn't work.

Every Senate member surrounded the platform on which they were to arrive. It wasn't my scene, and being surrounded by politics and the media wasn't my mood.
Who knows, quite actually, maybe he wasn't on his way. Perhaps he was sent on yet another mission, and only the Chancellor was to come back.
I sighed, leaning on a huge tan pillar, my eyes staring at the sky, at any ship that seemed to come its way.

No, I need to be, hopefully.
"Anakin is perfectly fine," I told myself, taking a few deep breaths.
I closed my eyes, trying to reach out to the force once more and being blocked off again. The only thing left to do was wait.
However, I knew the next chance I had; I had to tell him despite the circumstances.
"There they are!" A Senate member shouted. My eyes darted back onto the boarding docks, and there it was.
The Chancellor was the first person off, and even if it wasn't the first person I wanted to see, it still brought a smile to my face. He was okay, and not a single scratch was planted anywhere near his face.
His body quickly circled as his Senate members began to hug him and ask questions about his well-doing.
My eyes suddenly landed back on the ship, and there he was—the tall brown-haired boy and Master Kenobi. But my eyes only stayed on the boy I love. My heart began to race, and every inch of my body wanted to walk in his direction and kiss him, but that wasn't possible.
His body began to walk right behind the path of the Chancellor, walking beside Senator Organa. My eyes peered from the Column, hoping he'd sense my presence, and I was right. His eyes darted back towards the pillar and back onto Organas.
He stopped in his tracks, handing Senator Organa a few more words before his legs began to pace over to my body.
My arms, as well as his, flew right open. My body wrapped around his, feeling the back of his hands hold my back.
He lifted me from the ground spinning me in a circle. Placing me back down, I grabbed the back of his neck, placing my lips on his immediately. The warmth was something I craved and desired for so long.

"Oh, Anakin," I sighed. I still hadn't progressed; he was standing right in front of me. I took his body once again for a tight hug, grabbing the back of his hair as I once did.
"I've missed you, y/n. I'm sorry I haven't called," Anakin said as he took me in for a few more kisses.
"There were whispers that you'd been killed." I pulled away, looking and inspecting every inch of his face. Still in disbelief, perhaps this was just a dream, and he wasn't here.
"I'm all right." He whispered as he grabbed the back of his head with one hand. He smiled widely, taking a deep breath.
"It feels like we've been apart for a lifetime. And it might have been if the Chancellor hadn't been kidnapped," he added.
My eyes were still locked on his, but as he kept talking, the realization of the news that was to come landed right on my mind.
"I dont think they would have ever brought us back from the outer rim sieges." he continued. His words shot into my ear and out the other. I felt my heart begin to race.
Anakin leaned in for another kiss, "Wait. Not here." I pulled back.
"Yes, here," he answered immediately.
"I'm- I'm tired of all this deception. I don't care if they know we're married." He added; my eyes widened more. My eyes looked in beside our bodies; he was loud.
"Anakin, don't say things like that," I muttered.
I weakly smiled, hoping to ease the tension, but nothing was settling right.
I took Anakin back into a hug, hoping it would alleviate the panic that ran through my body. But even in our hug, it didn't feel right.
"Are you alright? You're trembling." He asked, pulling away softly. His hands landed on the sides of my shoulders, his eyes looking up and down my body. He probably noticed the overly sized dress I was wearing. He even frowned his eyebrows in confusion.
"What's going on?" he asked again.
I swallowed thickly, licking my lips, wishing nothing would ruin our moment once again.
"Something wonderful has happened," I whispered in a tone only he could hear. His eyes still examined my entire body until they placed themselves on mine.
"Anakin, I'm pregnant." I finally let it out. I examined his whole body, seeing it; he took it as good news or bad news. But his eyes departed from mine; he let out a quick breath.
"That's-" he commented; he was shocked, his eyes wandered to my stomach.
I felt the uneasiness.
"Well, that's won- That's wonderful." He finally said. His mouth formed a wide smile.
A huge weight finally came off my shoulders, and it was as if I could finally breathe once again.
"What are we gonna do?" I asked stupidly. I was still nervous from what I had just said, setting everything into reality.
"We're not going to worry about anything right now. All right?" He reassured me; he placed his nongloved hand onto the bottom of my chin, cupping it. "This is a happy moment." He sighed.
"The happiest moment of my life," Anakin added as he took my lips in for another kiss.

He taught those willing to listen how to survive in a catastrophe and how to prepare for the end of the world. The date is November 28th, Black Friday and hell has been unleashed on the world. A freak storm mixes with a deadly virus that turns its victims into mindless hunters of flesh. Katie will have to use everything her father taught her to survive and reach the safety of his underground bunker. Note from the author: Thanks for stopping by!
