"Sensei!" I scream out in terror, trying to run out to him, but Cole holds me back with all of his strength. "We can't Y/n! Sensei is gone... He's gone..."

"Sensei..." Kai says, dropping to his knees.

Jay tries to understand what just happened. "No..."

"I can't scan any life there..." Zane says, trying to find any source of our Sensei there.

He's gone.

Before we get the time to process what just happened, the Great Devourer finally realizes what's happening. It turns to us, narrowing its glowing eyes at us. Our eyes widen in horror, trying to figure out a plan. Jay tries to liven the situation. "Oh, maybe if we stand perfectly still..."

The large serpent tilts its head at us, hearing it shake its tail. It's preparing to attack...

Kai shouts out, "Run!"

Our feet hit the sand hard, trying with all of our might to not get caught by the Devourer. I've never been more terrified in my life until now. My heart is pounding, I'm sweating behind my mask, and I'm breathing heavily. Oh, my Spinjitzu it's actually happening!

We barely make it onto the ship, letting everyone get on first. I see Cole get on last and I quickly bring up the plank, looking at Nya and Lloyd. "Hurry to the Bridge you two! Do whatever it takes to get this ship off the ground! Now!"

Nya runs to the bridge with Lloyd and she starts pressing multiple buttons on the main control system. "Fire up the engines. I said fire up the engines!"

Lloyd looks over at the controls, trying to figure out a way to make the ship fly. "There's no wind! And we only have reserved fuel!"

"Use it! We don't have time to waste!" Wow.

Lloyd nods, pressing a button as the Bounty begins to rev up the engines and it flies away in a hurry. But, just as the large snake followed us from Ouroboros, it follows the ship as well. When the five of us still on the Deck see that, we quickly dash into the Bridge. Each one of us grabs onto something that's bolted into the ground or walls because it's about to become a bumpy ride. "We need to fly faster! This snake is gonna catch up to us!" I cry out.

"Uh, hate to tell you this, but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear Nya!" Jay shouts out in terror, seeing the Great Devourer quickly catching up to us.

"Working on it! Blasters on full!" Nya shouts out. All of the sudden, a clicking sound catches our attention and the blasters shoot out at the Devourer, hitting it directly in the face.

Kai smiles brightly, seeing the hit definitely took a toll on the snake. "Whoo-hoo! Take that, you stupid snake!"

But, when I look out the window, my eyes widen in horror. The snake hesitates for a moment, shaking off the pain quickly before coming straight at us at full speed. Jay noticed my distressed look, looking outside as his eyes widen too. "Uh, I think it heard you, Kai!"

"It's gonna catch up! We're gonna die! This is the grossest snake I've ever seen! I'm gonna vomit!"

"Y/n, stop freaking out! Or else I'm going to freak out too!" Cole shouts out, holding tightly onto the wall.

Kai turns to his sister panicked. "Nya, we gotta go faster! That thing is gaining on us! We have to hurry!"

"We're going as fast as we can! I'll try to make it to Scattered Canyon! This is harder than it looks like Kai!"

"Probability of us making it that far is less than 8 percent!" Zane says, trying to figure out a plan.

"Never tell me the odds!" Nya shouts back to Zane in anger.

"Zane why would you tell us that?! I am already panicking more than enough!"

Cole looks at the monitor as his eyes widen. "It's coming in for an attack! Port side!"

We all hold onto something as the snake hits one of the engines roughly, almost completely taking it out. Our eyes widen as the ship shakes violently, trying to stay in the air. "Ah!"

Lloyd tries to keep the Ship in balance, keeping the steering wheel straight as possible. "We're losing speed! We'll drop to the ground pretty soon!"

Nya thinks for a moment before something pops into her mind. "Throw everything overboard!

Our eyes widen. "What?!"

"We need to lose some weight! That's our only chance!"

"Port side!" Lloyd shouts out as he jerks the ship, trying to avoid another attack. We barely manage to hold onto something as we get tossed to the other side of the room. All five of us look at each other and nod. We quickly run all over the ship, grabbing anything that could be thrown over, whether it be a chair or fridge. It all had to go if we wanted to survive. We begin to kick up in speed but something about the snake catches my attention. "Wait a minute... Why is it eating everything we throw over?.."

Jay stares at the snake. "Man, he sure is hungry. Does anyone else think the Devourer looks bigger than it did before?"

Cole's eyes widen in horror when he realizes something. "The more it consumes, the bigger it gets! Don't throw anything else overboard!"

"Crap! What are we going to do?! We won't be able to make it at this rate!

Zane holds my hand tightly. "It's gonna be okay Y/n. We will."

"You literally told me we had an eight percent chance of survival!"

Before Zane gets to say anything else, the Ship jerks again, causing us to fall down to the ground. Nya quickly takes control of the Bounty when she sees the canyon up ahead. "Lloyd, take control of the main control system!" He nods and runs over to it, pressing multiple buttons. Eventually, the Bounty makes it inside the canyon as she smiles brightly. "Phew! We made it to Scattered Canyons! Hold on everyone! It's about to get crazy!"

The ship weaves its way through the canyons, doing its best to lose the Devourer. With every turn, the five of us try to keep our balance since this is the most extreme chase scene we've ever been in. Luckily though, we manage to lose the snake as we cheer. Cole smiles brightly at our success. "Ah, we lost him!"

But our celebration was brought on too soon. Out of nowhere, the Devourer breaks off an entire engine including its jet. The Bounty begins to lose control and it starts heading towards the ground. Our eyes widen in horror as I tightly hold onto the railing.

"Abandon ship!" Nya shouts out to everyone as she holds Lloyd's hand and runs out of the bridge with him.

Kai quickly picks me up while Jay picks up Lloyd and everyone runs over to the railing. We all nod before jumping off. This time, as the ground hurtles towards us, it's just not the same feeling as before. The feeling of dread fills each of us knowing what's going to happen soon. The boys summon the vehicles as Nya activates her mech and quickly heads over to a nearby cave. Somewhere solid where the Devourer can't feel our footsteps. The second we reach the cave, we take off our masks and turn back to the Destiny's Bounty just in time to see it crash into the ground and burst into flames. We hold onto any some form of hope that it can be salvaged but it's shattered the second the Devourer shoots out of the ground, taking the ship in one huge bite and biting down on it completely, shattering it in the process, completely destroying it.

Our home was gone. Again.

Our eyeswiden in terror as we shout in unison. "No!"

Tears begin to form in my eyes, my senses slowly start to shut down, and everything around me slowly turns into static.

"Ugh, it's gone!" Cole shouts out in distress and anger.

Zane sighs, knowing there's nothing that could be, and looks at everyone. "There's no time to rest, unfortunately. We need to warn people before it becomes bigger."

Jay slowly turns to Zane with his anger slowly building up. "Bigger? Bigger!? That thing in one big bite crushed our entire ship! We need to save as many as we can. Uh, uh, we'll find some kind of refuge, somewhere safe to hide. Ooh, the Serpentine Tombs. Yeah, they're underground. Sure, we'll be without sunlight for months, but they're perfect!"

"And what? Just give up?" Cole asks, turning to Jay.

"You know as well as I do, we have no chance at stopping that thing!"

The two get closer to each other, almost ready to fight. Kai quickly gets in between the two, splitting them apart, and glares at his two brothers. "Hey, stop it! Listen to yourselves. Is this what Sensei Wu would've wanted? Us fighting? Running and hiding? Giving up?"

"But he's not here anymore," Lloyd says sadly, still trying to process his grief that he had now lost another family member.

Everyone looks down sadly, trying to process everything that has happened in the last 24 hours. Though, the blonde notices that I'm not with everyone. He looks around, finally spotting me at the mouth of the cave, just looking at where the Bounty once was. He walks over to me, looking at me in concern. "Y/n? Are you okay?"

I don't hear his voice though. All I do hear is static. The Bounty is gone... Sensei Wu is gone... The Monastery is gone... Everything I've ever known is gone... Why does this keep on happening... Why does all of this happen... Just why... Why is everything falling apart?...

Lloyd places his hand on my shoulder, snapping me out of my trance. I quickly turn to him, tears forming in my eyes, and they just start flowing down my face. His eyes widen, seeing the tears flow down my cheeks. "Y/n?.."

When everyone else hears Lloyd's concerned voice, they turn to us. Their faces of sadness turn into ones of concern. "Y/n, are you okay?" Kai asks.

"I..." The tears just keep on coming, I can't make them stop anymore. It just keeps on going and going. I look at all of them, with only sadness in my eyes.

They quickly rush over to me, trying to figure out what's wrong with me, pushing back Lloyd. They all say things to try to comfort me, and tell me that everything is going to be okay. But, for some reason, none of those sweet things they say helps me feel better.

Eventually, I manage to get out some words. "I... Nothing is alright anymore! I keep on losing everything! Nothing seems fine! We lost the Bounty! We lost Sensei! We lost the Monastery! And on top of that, I don't even know who the heck I am! The Great Devourer is released! We lost! And, on top of that, for some reason, so many things seem familiar and yet they don't at the same time! I just... When I chose to stay with Sensei... I didn't expect this... I'm losing everything I cared about right before my eyes... I don't wanna lose you guys... I'm scared..."

More tears roll down my eyes, and before I know it, I'm full-on crying. The stress finally got to me, and nothing is okay anymore. All of them just stare at me, not knowing what to do. They knew eventually I would burst considering that I was shouldering basically the weight of the world on my shoulders but never to this extent. But, I was right. We did lose. The Great Devourer is released and could destroy everything in its sight.

Lloyd manages to push past everyone and heads to my side. He holds my hand tightly. "I'm scared too..."

I turn to face him, seeing his eyes well up with tears too and my eyes widen, seeing for the first time him in tears. We make eye contact before looking away in embarrassment as he speaks again. "But, even if my uncle is gone... I know everything will be alright because we're still standing. I may be only twelve years old but we got this! Besides, ninjas never quit! So we aren't going to give up now! Let's do this together Y/n!"

My eyes widen in realization. He's right... Even if we're scared or terrified of what's to come. We can't give up now. We have Ninjago to save. He's scared... just like I am... But, we're going to do this together.

I hug him tightly, not giving him a second to process what's going on. He eventually realizes what's happening as he hugs me back tightly. It feels nice to hug someone, especially after all of the craziness that's just happened. Especially someone who might know a fraction of what it's like going through all of this.

Once we let go of each other, Kai kneels down to my level and puts his hand on my shoulder. "Sensei may be gone, but his teachings live on. Sensei once told me it's not the size of a ninja in a fight, it's the size of the fight in the ninja. All this training, all of these battles we've had with the Serpentine, I know we're prepared for whatever comes our way. We've persevered through so much, we can't just give up now. A ninja never admits defeat. A ninja always picks himself up when he is down. Which is exactly what Sensei Wu would want us to do right now."

"Right... we can't let Sensei down nor anyone else," I say as I wipe away tears. Lloyd does the same and we look at each other with determination. "Let's do this together Lloyd. Let's be the difference we want to see in Ninjago."

He nods, holding onto my hand tightly. "Yeah, let's do this together heh."

Zane sighs, looking at everyone. "Not to break the mood, but how do we destroy a snake of that magnitude? "

"Yeah, it's not like we have an extra flute lying around to charm it. Or wait, haha, how about one of our awesome dragons? Oh, I forgot. They took off and left us high and dry. Or, hey, what about our Golden Weapons? Which will do nothing against a snake that size. Heh, oh, we are so hooped!" Jay says frustratedly, pulling on his hair.

Cole looks at Jay and sighs. "Ah, Jay's right. We would need a weapon so big."

Kai thinks for a moment before something pops into his head. His eyes widen in realization, look at me. I stare at him for a moment before realizing the plan that formed in his head. Kai smiles brightly. "Or an idea that's even bigger! Ha! Jay, you're a genius! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Oh, I know what you're thinking!"

"Of course, she gets it first." Jay sighs but looks at us. "I probably don't, but go ahead."

Kai and I stand by each other as he gets ready to summon his vehicle. "There's no time. I'll fill you guys in on the way. But, we got a plan and it might just work!"

Jay looks at us in confusion, everyone else joining in on his confusion. "Wha—Where are we going?"

"We're going to destroy that snake once and for all!"

We eventually make it to the Junkyard, and we all split up and scan the area, making sure there is no one here and that Jay's parents are gone. Jay and I look through his parent's Trailer, making sure they aren't there.Jay sighs in relief, getting confirmation they are there. "Looks like my parents are gone."

"That's good. They won't get hurt once that giant snake gets here. I'm sure it sensed us coming here. After all, we aren't exactly the best at being quiet and it's finally working out to our advantage."

He nods as everyone regroups with each other. Kai looks at everyone and nods. "Good that they are gone. Less of a risk that they will get hurt."

He lays out a blueprint on some junk, something he quickly scribbled down while on our way here and got some help from Zane with it on the way. I had to drive his vehicle and it was not fun. It was all tailored to him! "This is our best plan."

Jay admires the blueprints in awe. "It's so awesome."

"Zane, you still have a recording of the Sacred Flute in your memory?" Kai asks, looking at the robot.

"It might've been destroyed earlier, but I have its exact tone recorded and ready for playback." He plays the flute recording to us, confirming that he still has it in his memories.

Kai smiles and looks at me as we both look around the junkyard. "Good. And there should be enough spare parts around here to build this whopper. But we're gonna need to create our biggest Tornado of Creation yet. This is gonna be dangerous and we can't have anyone around."

Nya and Lloyd nod, knowing that if they try to help us. They would only be in the way. But, before we get to start building the vehicle, whistling catches our ears. We turn to the mailman coming in through the entrance of the place

"Ugh. What's he doing here?" Cole asks annoyed.

We sigh before heading over to the man. He looks surprised and annoyed at us for being there really. I wonder why. "Aah! You ninjas are always sneaking around, giving people heart attacks. You're too quiet!"

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. But you need to get out of here, now." Kai says to him, trying to get him to calm down.

"It's not safe here. There is something big coming and you have to leave now!"

"Uh, well, now, I too have a job to do, and that's delivering the mail, which I plan to do," the mailman says, pulling out mail and handing it to Jay.

Jay rolls his eyes, trying to push him out. "Look, dude, my parents aren't even here. You really should be on your way!"

"Them, too? Uh, let me guess, are they at the "Take Back Ninjago" rally too?"

"Uh, "Take Back Ninjago" rally?"

"What, you guys haven't heard? Everyone's getting together for a rally in the city. You know, to raise awareness about all the Serpentine problems that have been surfacing lately."

Lloyd smiles, hearing that the people are taking charge of their future as well. "Whoa, would you look at that? You guys are inspirational!"

"I guess so heh meaning it gives us even more reason to protect the land!"

Just as the mailman is about to take out more mail, his eyes widen in horror and realization. "Wait a minute, you know what? You guys are right. Wherever you guys are, trouble is always around the corner. "

But, as he speaks, we notice the Devourer quickly approaching us at a fast speed. We get into our battle stances, getting ready for the incoming action.

"I think I'll be leaving now 'cause whatever you guys are up to, I want no part of it-" But, the second he looks back, he sees it, standing tall and ready to attack. "Aah! S-s-snake!"

He quickly jumps into a trash can and hides. Us five ninjas look at each other and nod, pulling down our masks.

"Hey! It's now or never, guys! Fire!"

"Earth!"

"Lightning!"

"Ice!"

"Ninja go!"

One by one, we join together our Spinjitzu tornados as the Tornado of Creation is formed. The biggest one to date. Random scraps of junk start being pulled in, and within the tornado, we build the best vehicle we can make. The Ultra Sonic Raider is created. The second we finish it, we land in our seats as the tornado disappears, revealing the machine. I sit in the middle of the vehicle, making sure everything runs smoothly for my brothers. I look at all the buttons before me, smiling that there are labels for every one of them. Thank you for that because I would have no idea what I'm doing like when we would play video games.

"We're in the clear Kai!" I shout to him.

Kai nod, looking at the white ninja. "Zane, now!"

Zane presses a few buttons as the canon behind him loads up with the recording and shoots it out with all of its might at the Devourer. But, it manages to dodge the attack.

Cole starts getting annoyed. "Zane, what was that? This isn't target practice! You're supposed to hit him, not give him a haircut!"

"May I remind you we just magically whipped up this heap of junk?!"

My eyes widen, seeing the snake getting ready to attack. "Guys!

Kai notices my panicked voice, seeing the snake about to attack us. "Well, I hope one of us created a reverse feature because...reverse!"

"How's this for reverse?!" Jay shouts out and pulls a lever, barely reversing in time from getting hit with its tail.

Zane looks at the snake. "I need your help holding him in place! If not it won't work!"
